You guys forgot Toyman from the Legion of Doom.. Also if the do General Zod they should do a Ursela and Non from Superman 2 ... And finally #1 should be Doomsday..
@@RobbieWilkinson-f9l: Yeah, ... those 3 from the Superman Movie: General Zod, Ursa, and Non...would be a great 3-some to challenge Superman..!! Toyman & Doomsday would be 'nice' to get, too.!!
My top 10 are : 10. Kalibak 9. Steppenwolf 8. DeSaad 7. General Zod 6. Ocean Master 5. Mr. Mxyzptlk 4. Bane 3. Captain Cold 2.Gorilla Grod 1. Solomon Grundy Honorable mentions include Penguin, Mirror Master, Scarecrow, Man-Bat, Lex Luthor (Challenge of the Superfriends version), Two-Face, Dr. Sivana, Mr. Mind, Black Adam, and the Superfriends monster (from the episode The Superfriends meet Frankenstein).
All of the above plus: Ares, Mirror Master, Parasite, Killer Croc, King Shark, Mongul, and Trickster! Also think a Doomsday would be both doable and amazing! Can’t wait to celebrate 1,000 with you gents! And many more!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... LOVE what you guys do. That you ONLY have 1000 is crazy! For my picks, give me the original Super Friends LOD all day. Black Adam, King Shark, the Parasite... I could go on and on.
Can’t go wrong with anyone from the LOD! And man, thank you so much for saying that. We are so thankful for where we are, but it wasn’t long ago we thought 1,000 was unattainable, so trust me, we are stoked and excited to go well beyond that. And we most definitely will with awesome friends of the channel like you! If you have friends that would dig us, point them in our direction and help us grow even faster! Thanks again for the support and motivating words!
Some solid picks...really my most wanted picks are completing the classic Legion of Doom, a lot of others are just gravy. I think DC has some of the best rogues galleries in pop culture, so a full Arkham Asylum plus Flash's Rogues plus Superman's villains...it could go a long way. Of the Legion of Doom members, Grundy, Grodd, and Cheetah are top of my list. 🤓
Straight LOD for my Top 10 - Toyman, Giganta, Grodd, Capt Cold, Scarecrow, Grundy, Black Adam, Cheetah, Poison Ivy and Metallo. I already love the Lex, Joker and Penguin that Kenner put out, so don't need new ones of those. Also, really hoping the Riddler is gonna be a Hal Jordan repaint. Also, great call on Zod, but the best Zod design is the old school 60s and 70s version.
Been watching for a while, and realized I never subbed, so I just subscribed as requested. As for the question of which villain I am dying to see in this line, I have to go with Reverse Flash (insert sad trumpet sound here). It'd be great if Reverse Flash got a non-exclusive re-release.
Eyyy, thanks for watching, subbed or not, and welcome officially! Man, I hear ya. I think there’s probably a decent chance since they’re doing a different Black Manta. Flash/Reverse Flash 2 pack or something.
Respect for Captain Boomerang/Bronze Tiger/Cheshire. There's so little merchandise of any of them already. Haven't seen anything of Dr. Polaris at all.
Nice choices, guys! Okay, using the same rules you guys established for yourselves, and no particular order (I'm a huge Batman fan, so watch out!): 1. Bane 2. Two-Face 3. Mutant Leader 4. Man-Bat 5. Scarecrow 6. Ra's al Ghul (I prefer Dennis O'Neil's "RAYSH al Gool" pronunciation, since you asked. Lol!) 7. Penguin 8. Mr. Freeze 9. Clayface 10. Solomon Grundy
Edit: Sorry for the long post, wanted to explain my choices. Cheetah- Wonder Woman needs a villain, she's a member of the LOD, and we need more female characters Gigantah- Wonder Woman needs more than one villain, she's a member of the LOD, and the line needs more women Poision Ivy- Classic fan favorite character, Batman needs more villains to go with all 8 million variants they release of him, the line could use more ladies Harley Quinn-Classic fan favorite character, depending on the style they could milk the mold multiple times for variants, something something more girls if that horse hasn't been beat enough. King Shark- fan favorite character, cool and eye catching design, he's been a villain for multiple characters already in the line including Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and Flash. Solomon Grundy- Classic Fan favorite character who's been around since the golden age and still going strong today, he's been a villain to many characters too numerous to list here, a member of the LOD. Black Beetle- Blue Beetle & Booster Gold need a villain Starro the Conquer- they can literally just reissue the previously released build-a-figure wave version with a different paint job and call it a day. Gorilla Grodd- fan favorite character, member of LOD Despero- preferably the big bulky 90's look Honorable mentions: Catwoman- does anyone really consider her a villain anymore? Royal Flush Gang- ive alway digged these guysbit they only work as a set, and since thats like five figures by themselves they regrettably don't fit on the list Black Adam & Count Vertigo: we dont even have SHAZAM or Green Arrow yet it won't make a lot of sense to do the villains first. Lynx- im 90% im the only person who remembers her, she was created early on as a villain for Tim Drake, i always liked her look. Klarion with Teekl- really loved this guy on Young Justice
Love this list! Every female you included was in our Most Wanted Female Characters vid also, so you know we want to see them! Except Giganta, who got her shine here haha.
Yes, ... Count Vertigo ...to go with a Green Arrow...(and maybe Speedy).!! I really like the idea of a villain 'going with' a SP Hero...!! I would love to see Wotan ...go with a Doctor Fate... 2-Pack...!!?? Cheetah to go with a Kenner-styled Wonder Woman...2-Pack... Ocean Master ... to go with a Kenner-Styled Aquaman ... How about a Ra's Al Ghul ... to go with a bare-chested Batman...?? (and throw in Talia) ...3-Pack...?? ...A Gentleman Ghost ... to go with Hawkman...?? Mirror Master ... and a Kenner-styled ...Flash... Doctor Sivana ... and a Captain Marvel.... (Shazam ...to you newer folks) Etc. ...Etc.
Enjoyed the post as usual...!! You two do great keeping Super Powers ...fun.!! Both of you had Great Choices...!! I just want to throw this in: Stephen, I like your choice of ...Vandal Savage...!! And ...your choice of Solomon Grundy.!! Those Two could give our JSA heroes a very hard time. Just want to remind you that Alan Scott-Green Lantern and Solomon Grundy have a bit of a History... and to see them battle away...again... would be Great fun.!! Vandal Savage has been a real opponent of the JSA ... so, Hour-Man, Starman, and Green Lantern ...had better watch out.!! I like Chris' The Penguin, Two-Face, Ocean Master, and General Zod...!! The Injustice Society Villain I would suggest...(on my list) ...would be that little troublemaker ...BrainWave.!! I sure would like to see him in SP figure form... to give the JSA boys ...a hard time. A short, bald-headed guy with big glasses ...with a real bad attitude ...would be so Great to get.!!😃👍😘...Of course, it would be great to get The Wizard... and some of the other Injustice Society members, too.!! The Brain Wave was a member of the Injustice Society and was the Golden Age JSA's most-encountered foe.!! Also, ... one addition that it seems no one mentioned: ....Wotan...!! Because Doctor Fate needs a Great Villain, too.!! Captain Cold, The Icicle, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Ra's al Ghul, Talia al Ghul, Bane, Mongul, Ursa, Non, Ultra Humanite, Zoom, Cheetah, and Amazo..!!
Definitely don’t disagree. Hopefully the line lasts long enough to make that happen! They still won’t be able to match the army of 500 Batmen that will be released by that point though! 😂
I understand the love for all things Batman but since they're inevitable, I'd prefer non-Batman villains... 1. Ultra-Humanite (ape form) 2. Solomon Grundy (Superfriends version) 3. Brainiac (classic Legion of Doom version with correct colors) 4. Mirror Master 5. Per Degaton 6. The Wizard 7. The Toyman (Superfriends Legion of Doom version) 8. Baron Blitzkrieg 9. Felix Faust 10. Adolf Hitler with Spear of Destiny (for the Justice Society to battle during World War II)
My top 5 villains I would love to see still. 5. Killer Moth 4. Atrocitus 3. Azereal Batman 2. Cyborg Superman and 1. LOBO with his space hog!!! That would be incredible to have!!!
So after a classic Joker in his classic purple tuxedo, and after a classic Harley Quinn. How about a two pack with the Joker in a black tuxedo and slightly differently painted (metallic) Harley Quinn for a MAD LOVE two pack.
I wished i could help create figures. Id make Harley Quinn figure w/swappable heads. 1 is Dr. Harlene Quizel, 2nd being Harley Quinn with mask. And id have a clothed dr.'s coat to cover Harley Quinn's costume body. If that makes sense
Okie dokie. Here I go... 1. General Zod(3 pack with Ursa/Faora and Non) 2. Deadshot 3. Circe 4. Two-Face 5. Gorilla Grodd 6. Doctor Light 7. Poison Ivy 8. Star Sapphire 9. Hugo Strange 10. Owl Man (Dis)Honorable mention: Cheetah, Kalibak, Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze, Doctor Sivana, Black Mask, Cheshire, Parasite, Firefly, Brother Blood Also, maybe a special pack of the Royal Flush Gang.
Great choices guys! I'm going to ignore the rules a little (because I haven't seen your female wanted list yet), and I'm approaching my list thinking about figures from the original line who didn't get villains, and also just villains I think would suit the toy line. 1 - Captain Cold, 2 - Cheetah, 3 - Black Adam, 4 - Multiplex, 5 - General Zod, 6 - Dr Polaris, 7 - Solomon Grundy, 8 - Gorilla Grodd, 9 - Queen Bee, 10 - Parasite
Stephen as The black mask 😷 " you new guy don't be scared but if you keep writing my name wrong I'm cut your eyes out"!😂😂😂😂😂 we gotta get him in superpowers figure 👍
You covered a lot of great villains... I feel we need more Flash and Batman rogues, a Manhunter would be a great army builder to fight the GL Corps and would look great in Super Powers style (a Guardian would be great too - maybe with a light up Central Power Battery playset).
I really love the idea of a $17-18 (being sub-$20 is important I think in thisncase) "Deluxe" figure. Heck, slap a new deluxe figure in every wave. Bring us the big 'uns like Anti-Monitor, a giant version of Atom, Doomsday, etc, etc.
Gotta keep 'em carded tho! Imagine the Sentinel for those 3-3/4" Marvel figures as inspiration. Bought two of 'em & I'm not a huge sentinel fan...not enough to buy two.
Ross Webster from Superman III just so I can have an excuse to make a Napoleon Solo custom 😊 And his sister Vera when she turns into a robot monster. That scene is still kind of terrifying 😮
Yeah, he was definitely close to making it on both our lists, but ultimately the possible difficulty doing him justice and focusing on Legion of Doom characters won out. But we definitely would still love to see him!
I think Super Powers Etrigan could be fun to see. Also - more Flash villains like Heat Wave, Thinker, and Trickster. I'm a big Thinker fan. And speaking of Bane and also more modern era designs, I've been wanting Gail Simone-era versions of the Secret Six from any company and in any scale for some time now. Ragdoll and Scandal have such fun designs, as does both regular and New 52 Catman. I wouldn't complain if we got them in Super Powers scale, easy to make keychains.
If I wasn’t focused on LOD members on my list, Trickster may have made it over Grodd. Thinker didn’t cross my mind, but now that you’ve mentioned him, he would be a pretty sweet Super Powers figure.
@@JustBSingProductions Ahh, we definitely should get all of the Legion of Doom members first; missed opportunity otherwise. And Thinker's got a really nice design. I'm surprised no figure of him [or any of the Thinkers] has been made before.
I have a hunch for wave 10. It's something special, I think it would be a good time for the Hall of Doom, Lex Luhor (Super Friends style) and the Joker. I think Captain Cold (with the blue face) would be great.
For Metallo he should be in human form but go the Cyclotron way of removable front cover to show kryptonite and robotic features underneath. For wanted villains, if willing to model after live action films, Superman 2 villain 3-pack and Dark Knight trilogy 3-pack of Scarecrow, Joker and Bane.
Granny Goodness was an honorable mention on our female characters video. Kalibak was already done well enough with the Kenner line that we didn’t feel the need to include him.
@@JustBSingProductions same argument made for Penguin. Honestly, I can imagine a fresher look to Kalibak. There’s room for improvement. The Penguin, on the other hand, is rather perfect the way he is though. I would love a new Penguin, but I’m having a hard time imagining how they’re going to improve upon the original.
@@JustBSingProductions I understand, but it took them a very long time to bring Hal back properly. Turning him into a horrible villain, and then replacing him with snotty douche boy Kyle with that stupid looking mask and meh costume was just too much for me at the time. Plus, I was in my early 20s at the time. Comic books were getting expensive and the crossovers were just getting to be too much. Plus, Batman was about to get a fifth title. Parallax just triggers me. He’s a no way for my super powers collection. Zod Would have to be the Terrence Stamp version. None of his designs since the old movies have improved for me. Sick of Zod.
DC was Always Terrible about giving us enough Villains. As a 30 year Collector I can vouch for that! In fact, I have built 6 different DC Earth's, and only on Earth 3: Crime Syndicate, do the Villains outnumber the Heroes 13 to 10. There were 7 released Crime Syndicate members, I expanded that into 13 with some alternate Figures. Alternate Figures also became a Young Justice Resistance. My Earth 1: Justice League, Main DC has the most Villains. I have a 45 member Legion of Doom, a small Joker Gang, a small cobbled together League of Assassins, and a tiny Darkseid army. But they are outnumbered. I have a 27 member Justice League, or 35 member Justice League with all the Green Lanterns, with 8 Reserves, then, all Green Lanterns a 20 member Green Lantern Corps, 18 Titans, 8 Outsiders, and 3 each Doom Patrol and Metal Men. My Earth 2: Justice Society, is even more lopsided. I have a 31 member Justice Society and only a 20 member Injustice Society, 6 or 7 of which aren't even Earth 2 Figures. And only 3; Vandal Savage, Icicle, and Solomon Grundy were actual Injustice Society members. Others, such as Golden Age Cheetah, Golden Age Joker etc. weren't. Earth Kingdom Come, 20 plus Justice League maybe 10 Legion of Doom. Earth Watchmen is a disaster despite my best efforts. And so is my Earth Created Equal, All Female Earth. At least there are Robots there. I've had to resort to using MOTU, Robots, Customs, and even extra Marvel Figures to help the Villains because it really doesn't look good if your Heroes outnumber your Villains! It makes the Heroes look like bullies if they have the numbers.
Lex Luthor is of course, an obvious A1 choice… in his green and purple power suit. What I would love to see in addition is a 2PACK with Lex Luthor in a black business suit with Clark Kent in his classic blue suit.
@@JustBSingProductions Todd McFarlane is not gonna spend another nickel to put in any kind of moving parts. He hasn’t given the super powers figures any actual super powers yet. At least they got that part right 40 years ago 😂
I’ve heard that, but also heard in Arabic it should be said like “Ross” or “Roz.” And different writers say it different ways, so there’s no apparent definitive way. Guess it just depends on whose story it is, really. Lol.
@@JustBSingProductions I will stick with the best Batman ever, Kevin Conroy. I know Arrow used both versions of the pronunciation as well, so even they couldn't decide. 🤪🤪🤪
King Shark was very close to making the cut on one of our lists, but Grodd had to go in over him since he was in the Legion of Doom. Would definitely love to see him as a Super Powers figure!
They can’t really ‘add-on’ to an existing mold. That kind of thing has been attempted in the past only to result in ruining the original mold. Cyborg Superman would have to be an entirely new unique mold. Repainting those details onto the existing Superman body not only look very cheap but would also be extremely expensive because they would have to hand paint the details on each figure. Definitely better off making a unique mold.
I dunno, they added onto the Hush Batman pretty nicely to make Thomas Wayne Batman. But to do the figure real justice, absolutely make a new mold. And even better? Make a new Superman too! lol
@@JustBSingProductions ooohhhh ok. I thought the only add-on to that Thomas Wayne was the gun holsters. I’ll take another look at those. Is that the same body mold they used for Batman of Zur En Arrh ?
Now I’ll finally be able to have my epic battle on the moon I always wanted to have as a kid. Just need him to come with an elevator. HIS ONLY WEAKNESS!
there are so many great villains I want to see, but if I have to choose 10 here is what my 10 will be.: a Wonderland set with Mad Hatter, Alice, and White Rabbit. , the Female Furies., Devastation. , Atomic Skull. , Mongal. , Jeffery Combs Scarecrow from BTAS. , Batmite & Mr Mxyzsplk. , Brother Blood. , Prof Pig. , and an 11th fig being Emerald Empress.
