"Slipping through my Fingers," holds a special place in my heart. It hit me hard when I realized one time while watching the scene that my baby sister was walking around, when the month before she had just been crawling. It made me just realize how short time really is, and how things are so quick to change and we as people are so quick to grow. I remember I cried and gave her a big hug, and told her I loved her so much!

I’d add “Here’s to the Ones Who Dream” from La La Land. It’s a bittersweet song that happens at a part that’s more bitter than sweet, but it’s also hopeful and inspiring, urging you to hold onto your dreams. And when you learn that (spoiler) it got her the part at the audience, that makes you want to shed more tears of joy.

I know this isn't a musical, but there's a scene in CODA where the daughter starts singing the Joni Mitchell song to her family I was balling. Such a beautiful scene!

When I first heard the song, "This Is Me", from Greatest Showman, I really connected with it because I'm disabled and look different from others and know what it's like to be ostracized by my peers simply because of a lack of understanding and empathy. It's gotten better over the years, but I still struggle with social anxiety and depression as a result. Still, I'm proud of who I am and wouldn't change myself for anyone

"Slipping Through My Fingers" was really the best moment in "Mamma Mia!" The adaptation is a bit jarring but campy. No One is Alone" was one of the best moments from the movie "Into the Woods" I definitely think one of the best happy cry moments for me is "One" from "A Chorus Line" probably because the lead in to it is a dancer confessing to Zach about him being sexually assaulted as a minor. "You Will Be Found" is definitely one of the best moments from that jumbled mess of a movie.

The original ‘West Side Story’ became one of the best Hollywood movies ever made and the 2021 remake directed by Steven Spielberg isn’t that bad.

Hmm… I didn’t get into the original West Side Story movie. It’s not bad. Everything in the movie is great, but it’s not matter for me plus the guys dance like ballerinas, it makes me cringe. The 2021 remake is more gritty and more put together and I like that more than the original.

OMG! Yes! We saw the original cast on Broadway with Ben Platt. I ‘ugly’ cries from the first song until I walked out of theater! Ben’s voice always has a ‘cry’ in it!! Stephen Colbert admitted he did the same!! 😭😁
