Two that scare me a lot are Sirens and Revenants. Sirens: Like mermaids, they transform into a half fish form (the bottom half, duh) when exposed to salt water. It is also said that they also have a giant bird-person form used for killing their prey. They mainly prey on young men, ripping out and eating their hearts. They are also said to sing to sailors to seduce them, pulling the sailors down into the sea, drowning them. They must always be close to eachother, or they will die. They are very beautiful but they are unable to feel true emotions. If one of them leaves the rest, they must give a special potion to another girl to replace the previous one by the next full moon. Revenants: These strange creatures vary in appearance, anywhere from a full on skeleton to completely covered in flesh. They are said to be a mix between vampires and skeletons. They're undead, brought back to life for once reason. Revenge. They will not stop until they have destroyed their wrongdoer. They slay down anyone who gets in their way. They are also said to be closely linked with blood. Something strange is that when they find their wrongdoer, their eyes glow. They have INCREDIBLE strength and are- SCREW IT JUST LOOK AT SANS FROM UNDERTALE!!

Guys I'm pretty sure there's quite a lot of discrepancy within Greek mythology. Well, I mean, most religions as far as I can tell (cough new testament), but especially Greek mythology because it's so old. Different texts from back then contradict each other on, like, most things, because the authors had different headcanons and lived in different times.

I did a project on Russian mythology a long time ago and the domovoi really aren't bad guys. They're actually ancestral spirits and as long as you treat them well, they're very helpful. I also studied Greek Mythology as a hobby and you made some mistakes there as well. They weren't originally monsters, they were cursed by Athena after Athena found one of them and Poseidon having sex in her temple.

The wendigo is one of the most terrifying creatures that could be out there in my opinon. Imagine being lost in the worst, starving, cold, all you can think about is getting something to eat. A rescue team finds you and a little voice in your head tells you that you must eat, do whatever you need to do to eat. So you do, killing and eating the rescue team and condeming yourself to a terrifying body transformation with an insatiable hunger for human flesh, hunting that forest for any unlucky wanderer that may cross your path. Not something i would enjoy livin out for the rest of my life, esspecially if i still had a small thread of humanity left to continue the torture of your doomed life.
