Tough call Bug in or Bug out. To me bugging out leaves you more vulnerable with little food and water. Your most likely be on your own or dragging your family through total chaos. Rather stay with supplies and defend my home to the end.
food storage: OLD VS NEW REFRIGERATOR and FREEZERS. Who Knows the SECRET ? Keeps your food A LOT longer, by weeks! 😲The Game Of Survival is the Preppers Prolonged Life
A late know it all friend said the electric company keeps things going ok n if it goes out it's only bout 2 hours. So he turned down a chance where tractor supply had a used full size Generic g Stand by generator for $700 He had electric heaters and gas that the general would run in but he wouldn't shut up long enough to hear about it. So someone else bought it and 2 weeks later an freak I've storm took out his electric for 2 n half weeks n he had to live with his sos 1/2 mile away. When he returned to his house basement full of water burst water pipes water damage n all his food in his fridge n 2 freezers destroyed. Thousands of dollars n water damage. And his insurance didn't cover anything. It's ok to be frugal And pragmatic but to be a cheapskate and not pragmatic isn't that shows he thought he could save money by not spending the $700 which he could have stayed in his house with no problem but he wasn't prepared
Depends on the circumstances. I live in Florida. If a major hurricane came across where I live with flooding, then I would leave. If there is a collapse of law and order, I would stay in my home.
