Datas was basically the Goseiger's version of Alpha 5. Datas was also another misstep by Megaforce since the Goseigers needs Datas to form the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord.
Little correction: the CD's you mention where GaoPanda and Firenokodon appear are not movies, they are audiodramas. It's common in Japan. They couldn't be adapted into Power Rangers because there's literally no recorded images. The only images of these ones are arts and concepts, but usually the toy versions end up being released in Japan.
3:59 It was in Dino thunder (or a similar looking one). It was Cyan blue and it combined wit the Draco, Stego Zord. Tommy was the one that found the egg.

Datas Hyper is what makes up the Ultra Gosei Great. That is how you can get all the headers on. Megaforce should have used Datas. Datas could have been Tensou instead of the mini robot. That would have worked. Yeah Hyper Datas contented to Gosei Great to form the Ultra Gosei Great. Saban, being lazy as he was, just added Megazord to the name.
They could have just said that he looks like an arcade machine because he designed to resemble (and play when it disguise mode) a popular arcade game that used cards, since it allows him to act as a lookout when in public
The CDs were audio dramas. I actually listened to the Gaoranger CD and somehow managed to understand basically what was going on despite not speaking Japanese.
But then again I gotta give it so America for Mystic Force! Magiranger Red didn't get the Armoured form, you know, the one where red combined with the bird? Or was it a Phoenix? Or a Dragon? I can't remember but that was EPIC. The armour was REALLY BADASS.
Ok I know this video is 4 years old and you probably know by now but the reason the movies didn’t come over is because the sentai movies are handled by a different part of the sentai production team so it’s effectively a licensing issue
This is the reason I created original rangers for all zords (including ones that weren't used in the original series)! By the way, Gobusters is now Beast Morphers here!
That Zord didn’t appear in Dino Thunder the same way GaoKong and and GaoPanda didn’t appear in Wild Force. They were just repainted versions of in-show Zords, but were technically new things.
NotoriousPigeon Productions gao panda and gao kong are recolors of the gorilla zord and polar/black bear zords So they did the exact something with that one but for the U.S.
I thought I had seen two of these Zords before but they were different colors like the gorilla was Green in Power Rangers Wild Force and the chainsaw dinosaur was light blue in Power Rangers Dino Thunder?🤨
There were dozens of animals that didn’t make the cut in the show and were basically all recolors. Also it wouldn’t make as much sense making a panda ranger considering the character arc with GaoYellow.
That self moving zord from goseiger is what the use to make the form of gosei great megazord where all of the different zords-before roboknight- combined into one but never was showed off officially in megazord
I have watch Dino Thunder from the beginning to the end and the sword you are talking about at at 4 minutes 15 seconds was blue and it featured in Dino Thunder I should know to this day I still watch Dino Thunder and all the other Power Rangers

Actually, Saban can get the movies in limited amount or in parts. Parts of the crossover footage in some episodes have been from the crossover movies, and the Legendary Battle at the end of Super Megforce was actually from "Tensou Sentai Gosaiger vs Kaisoku Sentai Gokaiger: The 199 Hero Battle" Go to kissasian.ch/ to watch it if you've never seen it. It will make you pissed that Saban got lazy and didn't make a full fledged Gokaiger based Ranger season instead of tacking it onto Megaforce.
Back in the 90s before DVDs were popular there was another disc based format that played movies on your PC using movie players like Windows Media Player among others. Those movies disc were known as VCDs..or..Video Compact Discs..or Video CDs. They were bigger in Asia (especially China and Japan) and that's the type of disc the Japan special episodes are on. Hope this helps. In America they weren't as popular, but I didn't have a DVD player at the time (they were just coming on market..showing my age here) and I bought the 1st Mortal Kombat movie on an American VCD disc.
ahem... HERE'S THE THING ABOUT DATAS HYPER. Apparently in Goseiger, it was a key part in combining with the megazord and all the sky/sea/land brother zords to create "Hyper Gosei Great". Now, because this zord didn't exist in the Megaforce, it created a huge continuity error. It would have created one of the part where the heads connect, but in Megaforce, it's just not explained.
Didn't some of the Movie Zords came into the shows but in a diffrend variation. Like the Wildforce Gorilla Zord being green and the Dino Thunder Dimetrozord being a light blue bariation of the circular chainsaw looking Zord
CD aka Compact Disc is for more than music, think of it as the child of a music cassette and a video cassette and it evolved too keep up with the times.
I know this is an old video, kinda. But IMO you should watch Goseiger, it has an interesting story where they face three evil empires and defeat them all, only to face a former comrade at the end. ^^
4:07: Dimetrodon is not a dinosaurs, its s stem-mammal that is closer to tou and me than the non-avian dinosaurs, and in fact became extinct before the 1st true dinosaur shows up in the fossil record.
Datas Hyper combines with Gosei Great to form Hyper Gosei Great, which WAS adapted as Ultra Gosei Great Megazord, so we have an unknown bull headed zord thing attach to the Megazord for no apparent reason.
