Great video, I liked boomerang, quick poll, yelp and translator. Thanks for sharing. Please help me to find a working link to get the "starbucks" add in. I know that it has been discontinued but in the past I was able to install it into a college's PC even after that. I lost the file, please if anyone has it PM me or share the link. Thanks in advance.
thanks mate im new to admin and finding excel quit difficult to navigate, I have ideas of streamlining the paperwork side of our business but can't figure out how to do it in excel. do you have an 'excel for dummies' series on here by any chance? I have the basics of excel down but that's about it and any short cuts like the ones you've done in this video for outlook (which I will now be using all of them thank you) would be massively helpful to find. thank you
pretty useless if your corporate environment doesn't use Exchange then or you are developing spreadsheets which might be used in either an Exchange or non-Exchange environment. Really, Microsoft should develop stuff which can be used throughout the user base of Excel.
Most of these features are already in Gmail standard now and you can add and use extensions like Grammarly for free. I find Outlook so outdated as it hasn't really changed since 2010. Gmail Smart Compose makes writing an email take just seconds with its very clever prediction vs 30 minutes in Outlook 2019. Also updates Outlook gets take backwards.
If you have Office 365 in a corporate environment the admin may have disabled that option for you. Your admin can enable it in the Admin Center under Settings> Services> User owned Apps and Services.
Yes, you won't have the Get Add-in option if you are not using email on Exchange. However, be aware if you have Office 365 mail you are probably using an Exchange account. It just does not work with POP3 or IMAP mail accounts. So if you are using yahoo, gmail or some other POP3 mail solution you won't be able to install the add-ins. Generally if you are in a corporate environment with Office 365 or are using the mail provided with a home or business Office 365 account then you are fine.
1NDecent Sorry you aren't reading your own link article, it clearly says (under "client requirements") that the add-ins will not work with IMAP and POP3 accounts
Very nice info and you have made my life so much easier with all your videos. Quick question, maybe some here can help me, when you right click on an appointment in your calendar day, you get a to do list, how can you edit that list? Mine says, quick print, invite, delete.... How can you add more things to do on that list when you right click on the appointment?
In Outlook from the Home tab choose Get Add-ins. Then you can search for Boomerang. If you don't have Get Add-ins then you may not be running the Office 365 version of Outlook that would allow install of Add-ins.
@@SeleTraining i don't want to be connected to any servers like one drive from Microsoft.....? that possible...? i dont have $99 per year wish we had the old days just buy the product done www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compare-all-microsoft-365-products?&rtc=1&activetab=tab%3aprimaryr1
Hi, Is there any add-ins which help me to post a training video to a group of people for a certain time period and can monitor who watched the video with date and time
With Office 365 you can login at office.com and use the Stream app. It allows you to share videos and keeps track of views. Not sure how detailed the reporting of view is though so you'll have to check it out.
Can't make the Get Add-ins active. First, you have to add a Custom group under Home (Mail). You can't just ADD>> the command to the menu. Then you can see the faded grey icon of the Get Add-ins in Outlook, but you can't access it.
@@ronspi Office 365? Scroll down to the comment "Why my Get Add-ins button was grey out? ". I was referring to Office 365 admin, not the Windows admin.
@@mnemonic_de I AM the Admin for O365 full system. Full god access to an over 200 users company system. I was not referring to a PC Admin LOL... I have a few admins who do the work, but I'm the owner of the whole system.
Great vids, thank you. Quick question to help me from anyone here, in calendar, when you right click on an appointment on a said day, you get a list of what you want to do with that appointment, e.g. mine says quick print, invite, forward, private... how do you edit the said right click list????
Sele Training I will try that. But I noticed that Outlook 365 is not listed as one of the versions compatible with this add-in. But since it works for you I will give it a shot.
@@keaco73 Hi Keith, Mr. Post supports Outlook on the Web, Outlook for Android and iOS, Outlook 2013+, Outlook 2016 for Mac. You're welcomed to contact our support folks at support@mr2020.tech at anytime. We're glad to hear from you!
With the latest update they moved the search bar to the very top line of Outlook. Take a look up there. It does let you choose the current mailbox or all mailboxes.
