Spawn AC mauls melee-abilities combos (which has the most variety out of the 3 other heroes I’ve mentioned) literally have a higher damage output than kylo which has the second “highest damage output” out of them all, they all roughly have the same stamina stats, not to mention he’s the fastest of them all which is his greatest strength and is essential to the many ways you can play when using him. I don’t even need to go into more advantages he has over those other three heroes to indicate his superiority. It’s just a matter of being good enough with him knowing what he can truly do, he’s on par with Grievous & Vader
Imo palpatine is more broken than Anakin in the hands of a semi competent player. At least you can fight and outplay Anakin, a dodging and jumping palpatine is the most annoying thing I’ve ever seen in my life
August Knows Palpatine is one of the reasons why I play more hero showdown because atleast in that mode palpatine players only get one round as him. And it’s just easier to defend against him when their are less enemies.
If your whole team sucks on HvV and you're getting creamed from getting picked off and no body knows how to not rush, then just join in as Palpatine to gain the upper hand

For anakin: im a returning player who didn't play this game for over year, could pick him up on geonosis, never played him before and got a 56killstreak and ranked him up in this match from lv 1 to 12...hes insane
MotionBlur Productions don’t rush them head on when they’re prepared for you. If they use their lifesteal ability, they can pretty much face tank everything unless you knock them down/stun then
yolo lol In CS when I play maul even when I encounter the rare good or very good anakin players I can easily evade them and still deal with them in sneak attacks, ambushes when they are low or try bring them to a secluded spot we’re I can try kill them and if I feel like I might die I just spin away after baiting the pull.

I honestly love the officer. And not even for getting heroes, the slow firing blaster can 2 shot most infantry if you can aim, the diffrent commands and inspiring presence combined with the flash gernades and turret can make a capture point incredibly hard to dig out. Some of my longest kill streaks are with officers.

Battlefront CR yeah palpatines great against lightsaber heroes but is hard to use against a good blaster hero I honestly think the characters are balanced pretty great
As a veteran player I would like to apologize for every time that I have used palpatine and anakin. I would also like to apologize for using the officer but it’s just so good and I like using heroes.

They just wanna throw in something and not question if it’s gonna be OP or not. They just throw it in there like it’s no big deal. I’ve used Anakin and yeah I can agree, he feels cheap. I love him as a character but in the game, he’s just too damn easy to use. What they need to do with him is give him an ability loop delay for about 2 seconds, Slow his attacks down ONLY when using his massive strikes card and remove Retribution or make it to where if you’re at a 100 killstreak or something, that’s when you can use it. Plus he wouldn’t be able to use it in HvV.
Not really. A good blaster hero can deal with a palpatine but nobody really knows that because everyone goes lightsaber heroes and villains. Whereas with Anakin, he destroys both lightsaber and blaster villains.
JackJumper yea in GA a good blaster hero can kill him relatively easy or even a an assault with vanguard can kill palpatine if they catch him by suprise. But in HvV if the palpatine is semi compete at and is communicating with their team, blaster heroes will be fully targeted by the enemy team, I’ve been in many HvV matches when I was Han and prevailed against a good team with a palpatine but I’ve been playing since beta. But yea I see where you coming from. I think we can all agree that both anakin and palpatine need nerfs.
@@ShooshedGamer oh yeah, I kind of forgot about hvv as I don't really play hvv too much so I really only know from the ga perspective. I remember one time on hoth on the first phase where I got to pick a hero first so I went lando and the enemy had a palpatine. I watched as the palpatine melted my obiwan teammate and then he proceed to come at me. However his greed was his downfall as I was able to get a sharp shot off before I was in his reach, and then got some damage off with my disabler before palpatine was brought to his end.

Nah my man I'm recharge command lover it funny watching players rage when you just chuck flash grenades down a choke point with a turret finishing them off and if there smart to destroy the turret just recharge chunk anouther flash place that turret and just get headshots with the E-5 (I think thats the blasters name)
I still find he is slightly to weak, either he needs to do more saber damage as a base or swing as fast as Luke. Or they should just buff his frenzy back to dealing 40 more than his base and his power of darkness back to 20 more than base for six seconds so after frenzy. It would make him require skill to deal max damage but still not make him OP.
@@adamparker3151 He is far from the strongest, Vader is by far tge strongest. I'd place Kylo right in the middle not bad but not great. Sure he's great if you know how to play him. But Vader is down right broken and way to OP, same for Dooku and Gervious. Just look at it this way Dooku has a 3rd dodge and can deal more damage than any other saber hero all while having better health regen. Gervious has a 1000 HP if you use the proper star cards and with his extended health regen is neigh unkillable with claw rush. And when it comes to Vader does it even need to be said? He had a base of 900 HP gets and additional 250HP from focused rage with double his attack stamina for it's duration, not tomention with fueling the rage he gets an additional 6 seconds. Pair his 25% damage reduction star card with extended focus rage and extra health and Vader is able to 4V1 every combination on the light side an win. No other hero can do this.

He’s fast, dominant, has 3 of the best abilities (arguably), and those abilities are so good for insanely High killstreaks. Yes, Vader is a tank and all, and is good at getting killstreaks, but he’s way too slow. You Can only play him on medium/small maps like Yavin/Starkiller Base etc... That’s why I think Kylo is way better, cause he Can be played everywhere.
@@adamparker3151 Keep in mind I'm a Kylo main (hardly a great player IMO) but I know his character through and through. He is completely balanced not bad at anything but not great at anything either. Frenzy is extreemly easy to counter for every light side saber hero, along with Freeze and pull having ridiculously long cool downs (particularly pull for how underpowered it is) Kylo is quite weak. If Dice had kept working on the game best way to make Kylo a stand out top teir hero is simple, buff his power of darkness to giving him + 20 for the 6 seconds after frenzy, buff Frenzy to +40 per hit (frenzy is a huge risk it needs to pay off) and make pull do a base damage of 100 +60 from harsh pull so it can be worth it in PVE as well as useful against heroes in duels. And lastly reduce the cool down for freeze and harsh pull to 20 and 15 respectively. If they did this he'd be fine as a stand alone hero, but as it stands he's the best support saber hero.
Im max level at Kylo Ren and all i have to say anakin is one of the easiest hero to counter. If you at this point cant counter anakin, maybe its you who have the problem. I always wreck anakin players with kylo. And you didnt even mentioned luke? His swing speed is like dookus duelist, damage is insane and he has 2 ragdoll abilities.

I disagree with this idea of Kylo Ren getting a Nerf, OR a Buff. think Kylo is perfect right where he is. The area of effect for his Freeze really isn’t that large, unless you spend a whole Starcard slot improving the area of effect. Plus, if you’re sticking with your teammates, or with another villain, and are spamming your frenzy with his new frenzy Starcard, you can deal insane amounts of damage with just your default Lightsaber Swings
kaazal0 Kylo’s Base Health is 750, with a 250 Regeneration Pool, which is pretty much the standard for normal lightsaber characters. His Regeneration Delay and Regeneration Speed are 5 seconds, and 50 points per second, which yes, these are below average. But with maxed out starcards, and playing to Kylo’s advantages, He can deal over 200 damage in one swing. His base lightsaber Damage is 125 which again, is somewhere between normal and slightly lower than average He deals an additional 40 damage when attacking from behind, And has 2 Starcards that when fully maxed out, can allow him to deal another extra 40 damage, if he’s nearby another villain, and has used his Frenzy ability first.
Olin Roux Except it isn’t. Kylo can swing 1.8 times a second. The only characters that he’s slower than are Luke, Anakin, and Dooku when his Duelist ability is active.
12:57 Actually Officers are suppose to be a support role. When I’m a officer and a game just begins; I never buff my teammates at the spawn. I only use my command star cards when my teammates are in combat.
Drake` Turcotte dude the sniper and heavy are way more OP than the officer, I’ve found. Sniper just two-shot kills Boba Fett with the NT-242, and the TL-50 is just incredible.
I don’t think Kylo’s freeze is over powered at all. How in the actual heck can you nerf it? It’s a “Freeze” meaning you’re frozen, it does exactly what it says it does. What, do you want it to do damage too? You can’t really change it, other than the range or duration. The only thing that sucks about it, is the animation being so short you basically have to predict when he uses it. Also the slug vanguard is freaking awesome. I’m surprised nobody uses it all the time. It’s basically a sniper rifle sidearm for the assault class.
I made a post on reddit about anakin being a little bit op and I got hate for it and people said "just be good at the game" but I still believe he's way to good.
If everyone can use it why is it an issue? It’s not my falt I get a hero faster because I use the card. Anyone can use it, it’s their decision and their problem.
@@micahwalsman1312 I'm an officer main and even I'll agree the bounty hunter card is broken I can get a hero at least 1 min into a game if I get into a enemy engagement as for some reason the flash grenades racks up points with low damage and if you have the recharge command to do it again and than either finish them off or get assist your looking at 2k points with your first fight its crazy and i love it
I’ve played this game since beta and ever since I got this game the main reason I like playing this game is for the hero gameplay so I’m gonna play officer with bounty hunter if it means I get to play the hero just a tiny bit faster and even when I play officer most of the time I still have more kills than the rest of the players by the time I get a hero.
One thing that annoys me is that most users don't see the need for Anakin to be so powerful. The darkside heroes on average are fundamentally stronger and better than most lightside heroes. Anyone who plays HvV can easily notice this. Anakin literally brings balance to force by having someone that can match things like kylo, vader, and palps. What dice needs to do is either raise the power of the lightside(aside from anakin) or decrease the power of the darkside. Otherwise anakin is really the only hero that can deal with a palps on 100 man kill streak

You obviously haven’t used palpatine enough to know star cards drastically improve him. If you’re losing to low level Palpatine’s, maybe you just don’t know how to play against his character?
I’m an Assault main and insanely accurate. I have it maxed and can get heroes in a little over a minute. If I use Officer, I can get the hero within thirty seconds of getting into combat.
I agree as an officer main our battle point gain can be aggressive but if we get picked off quick were nothing our health pool helps balance our point gain
It’s all to true that if your not playing the Officer your at a huge disadvantage, biggest problem is just all the Battlepoints they gain with little to no effort. And when you play as heroes like Palpatine and Anakin you have little to no struggle compared to when you use someone like Vader or Luke who require moderate skill at most in order to stay alive. And I can truthfully say the one thing to kill me the most as heroes in battlefront is Anakin, and a hardcore objective Palpatine, makes it almost impossible to take objectives when Your chain Lightning’d or Retribution’d. I’d say 2nd best battlepoint earner however is Heavy and often times if I get enough kills and damage vehicle objectives, I can just barely get the hero before a sweaty Officer in third place tried to get one. Getting a Hero as Officer isn’t hard, but getting a hero as other classes actually feels rewarding.
You sir should check the battle point gain of an assault with acid and scan dart. I usually get an easy 1000 battle points from assists alone every few seconds if I use those right. And that is without the bounty hunter card.
OG’s will remember the bluurg being OP. You could one burst people at long range. Supercharged sentry lasted ages and melted whatever it touched. Anakins orignal heroic might had insane range and could hit like 800 damage 😂🤷🏻♂️.

Rob Courtney okay, I can go on 40-80 killstreaks in GA, it’s an issue when every game where someone plays Anakin or Plaps in GA they have 100+kills, or (a personal example) someone playing Anakin makes an entire team quit because they get 30 kills in HvV and only die once (to me) I’m a top 5 player and that game was BS. There are always amazing players but you literally can’t kill the max level Anakins he’s too easy to use

With the kylo ren freeze move, i personally think that it is perfectly fine because you can block the freeze like force pushes so if anything that stops you in your tracks is “Broken” then just name every character that uses the force. Force pushes even do damage and have cards that could let you do extra damage but hey I’m just a kylo ren main that is lvl 378 and an Luke skywalker lvl 297
Honestly I find Vader more OP than Anakin, especially in HvV. The ability to give yourself extra health in addition to extra damage output is just insane, not to mention the crazy choke. If you get choked once by Vader, you're pretty much a dead man.
Swany, you should make a tier list for heroes and villains and talk about why. I personally know how I feel about most the heroes as all my heroes are level 60-100... but I think it would help a lot of new players figure out which heroes are are better than others and be a fun video in general.
A rankimg doesnt make any sense because almost every hero is good. It depends only how you play them in which situation. Except leia and chewbacca which are in very few situations good
Just4Playing not true. Some heroes are noticeably better than others... Anakin, Luke, palpatine, and Kylo are all probably the best heroes in the game and are S tier. Maul, Vader, Grevious, Rey, Han, Yoda are all probably A tier. Grevious, Boba, Iden, bossk, Finn, Lando, Obi wan are all B tier And F tier is just phasma, Leia, Chewbacca The heroes aren’t balanced in this game... and while some may be better on certain maps and different situations against different heroes... if you’re skilled with a Luke or Kylo you can pretty much wipe the floor with anyone... Anakin & palpatine take little skill to use and just melt everything and are easily the best heroes in the game due to their OP abilities and loadout.
As an Officer main, I have to agree. I really like playing the Officer because I LOVE the S-5, the Squad Shield, and the ability to buff my teammates in battle. But like you said, I literally get hero points in under a minute almost every match, and I don't even use the Bounty Hunter Card! I would like to see Officers get much less BP for buffing Allies (or maybe just a delay so that it doesn't give points within the first 10 seconds of the game, or maybe a clause that makes it so that the buffed allies have to either shoot or get shot in order to give points to the Officer). I would also like to see the SE-44C NERFED! That blaster is so stupidly OP that I REFUSE to use it. On console, it literally kills so fast that it causes people getting shot by it to LAG! No joke! I can always tell when I'm being shot by an SE-44C, because my game will hiccup for a second, then I will fall over dead before my healthbar even has time to go down. It is STUPID.
Agree with the vid for the most part. Kylo's freeze is only OP when there are infantry around as as soon as you strike someone, even with Frenzy they can just dodge away. Frenzy is a one hit move on heroes. It's best for clearing out troopers. Palpatine does take skill to use. He is OP but he isn't the sort of hero most new players can pick up and steamroll with. In a good players hands though he is just so frustrating.
Just because there is infantry around that doesn't make the ability overpowered it makes it very effective because the target is a sitting duck unable to defend themselves.
The most overpowered thing in battlefront 2 is Anakin Skywalker. When he was released from February 2019 he was ridiculously powerful, I'll never forget those EPIC days 😂👻
It did used to definitely 1 shot but has been nerfed and takes out 75-90% of your health depending on what hero you are. On one hand I think this is realistic I mean because it's a giant missle hitting your body and on the other It stands out more than other things that should melt people but don't so in this case it needs another nerf imo
Try to think of it this way, -Want a higher chance of playing a hero/reinforcement -> use bounty hunter; if you rack up enough kills quickly enough you might be able to bypass that card. -Kylo; Use cover, time your dodge, block (if saberhero). Make the the damage equel back/front. Make blaster heroes/villians immune to force powers if they use an ability: Iden's shield, Han's sharpshooter, fin's deadeye etc. -LAAT only takes one person with an ion shot attachment to take out. -AT-ST no problem for the new gunner, remove the insane trampling hitbox. Only have the missile do major damage against vehicles/turrets.
So any ability that stuns you is op? No man that ain't it. What makes Kylo's freeze so annoying is the amount of time frozen by it. But since he's a hero I would expect nothing less, you spend 4000 battle points for him, you don't want his abilities to be lacking.
I'd change it so that you stop being freezed after a certain amount of damage, its ok to get freezed and killed by him but I can't stand when i'm stuck there being shot at for 10 seconds
a solid team to follow up on attacks is the best feeling ever imo, when Ren freezes another hero and they just get blasted up by the team you feel like a boss

I feel like I’m the only one who never plays the officer literally every game, I’m always using the assault and the heavy and the officer sometimes just to complete classes. I rarely play the specialist because I’m a horrible sniper and only get kills with the specialist abilities

The AAT can snipe just about anything from anywhere. It like, 4 shots the TX tank way faster than the TX could hope to kill it, and I haven't even finished upgrading the turret yet. It's impossible to sneak up on cause the turret can rotate every direction, and it only costs 800. I can pay for like, 4 of these in a single life with the AAT just by using caution and sniping wherever I see tracers coming from. The only thing that's an actual threat to me is Jedi, but only if they figure out to jump to avoid my shots
I never struggle taking Anakin out, especially when working together with another person or two, and I really sck with him whenever I play him (while I rock with most other Heroes), so I don't think Anakin is overpowered. He is strong for those who know how to use him, but otherwise I think he is meh - once he used his two powers, he's basically a sitting duck.
Pull is his only good ability tbh. Passionate strike is fine but it's nothing too crazy. Heroic might is straight garbage and can't even kill infantry unless they're low on health. Retribution..... Well that's just god awful. It takes ages to get and all it does is tickle the enemies. I don't get how people could still say Anakin is OP.

People are always quick to complain about the officer but you forget that whilst there's an officer stood next to you in a gun fight YOUR health is regenerating 40% quick so YOU stay alive longer so YOU can get a hero or just continue to fight, not to mention your abilities in refresh so YOU can throw your grenade or just use any of your abilities.
Yep, I can't understand why they still want to nerf Anakin, you can easily kill him with Vader, Dooku, Grievous, Kylo, etc. It looks that they want to kill a hero with a soldier, just wait and he's gonna say that Luke and Vader are op because they can 1 hit kill you with one ability. Anakin by now balances the sides because a lot of villains are best than other heroes. By now you can win with the side you prefer, but like in any other game, you just need luck to have a good team with you haha.
I cant understand how people still complain about Palps being op. He has been nerffed so many times already and people still complain. Take away hes dodges, make him do no damage, remove dark aura... Its so stupid. I am a Palpatine main and I know that he is very easy to counter as pretty much every charachter. Or even easier if the Palps player is Trash with him.
Brobdingnagian Loaph assault and specialist are better than heavy... heavy is good for vehicles damage for points but other than that they don’t have anything better than the other 3 classes... Officer Specialist Assault Heavy That’s the order from best to worst class imo.
I feel that it’s fair that the officer gets battlepoints really fast, because his guns are pretty weak unless you get nothing but headshots. Also it’s a nice support character for your allies.
Lando is OP on his own, if equipped the right Star cards Lando can stun someone as strong as Vader even and just spam R2 or RT with headshots and it’s an immediate death.
I only use the Bounty Hunter on my Officer (it's the only class I dedicate to rushing towards Heroes). Whenever I play other classes, I simply do my job and usually I know I will be able to get a reinforcement or even a Hero quite easily anyway, since plenty of people who get to play special units earlier will die by the time I reach the required amount of points. I actually never had to wait for a special unit when playing normally (only for Heroes).
Im Battlefront 2 player since 1 1/2 Years. I like the Game, But the devil is hiding in the details. And Nobody cares...(thats my List, if you have a different opinion you can express it. but please factually) *The game is unbalanced:* -Palpatine and Anakin are (still) super OP -in Heroes vs Villans you have nearly every time a Boba Fett Pussy. Run/fly away, wait for abilitys and come back, use them, run away and so on. -Super OP Vehicles. ChickenWalkers for example - generel unbalanced Heroes. Play Heroes vs Villans and you know what i mean. -fucking knockdowns everywhere! -too Many reinforcments. Would be ok if they limited them to max 2 or 3 each -Blaster Heroes destroying the fun in Heroes vs Villans (sometimes Its fun, but why no Lighsaber only HvsV? Why Not make both modes) -every round is Russian roulette. Good Team = fun. Noobs dont Play Objektive and hiding at the End of the map. „Oh no i could get killed, i better stay here and wait until i get shot“ = Bad Team = no fun -in Heroes vs villans the exact opposite. „Oh im a Noob, i better rush alone into the 4 enemy heroes“ You can be the best Player, with a shitty team you cant do anything. (I often have in HvsV more points then my Wohle Team!) -the absolute bad hitbox System. But that they will fix / still started fixing -And -so -on *And then the general game Problems:* -There is still no way to choose the map Or the side (Server Browser!!!) -so Many modes nobody plays - no new modes (and We See from Battlefront 1 that there Are Lots of Nice modes which can added and would be played) -still no 1 vs 1 lightsaber only Mode -so many maps only made for one mode. Why dont make the Maps for other modes?! - still no skins for most Villans. What's really op is being infinitely ragdolled in HVV by the hero's abilities. Han detonite -> Luke repulse -> Anakin pull + heroic might -> etc. Wish you couldn't be affected by knockdown/stun abilities while already being affected by one.
Am I the only one that loves playing as palps? He’s such a satisfying hero and it’s fun to destroy all of the new players and get high kill games consistently
* not everyone plays to get the hero first or at all .. i main assault and heavy and i got a friend who just plays sniper in this game. Also getting that multi-kill or that extra time at the objective because your using a card that helps can bring ya more points then dying with the 20% extra card on ya.
To be fair you can rack up battlepoint with any infantry with the right build. Assault: bounty hunter, gas gernade, advanced scan dart. Lob scan darts and gas into a capture point you team is assaulting and just wait for the point. Heavy: bounty card, explosive sentry, gernade launcher. Officer: you covered that. Sniper: honestly dont know i hate the class lol
When I was bad at the game I hated it because I saw it as unfair P2W mechanic. Now that I'm good at the game and seasoned, I see how wrong i was. It's a really bad card and it's wasted for anyone using it. Yes, if you're bad and can barely get 4k points in a match then you definitely need to run it to get the hero, but if you're decent at the game, you should have 2k points by the 2 minute mark just by playing the objective. It's not hard to get the hero in this game once you learn how to play it. The card you can use to replace it will help you out more than using the card period. That said, it might be a console thing that people run it a lot because on PC it's barely ran by anyone except newcomers.
People dislike the card because it's a MUST. Just like how the K2H cards were also a must until they got changed. Imo, just replace the card instead of nerfing it

Dunno considering that I'm getting pulled 24/7 from a mile away as a blaster hero its pretty frustrating , like there is no way to escape his spam unless you are blocking at every corner
Officer I completely agree with. In Capital Supremacy I was able to get Darth Maul within the first minute of the game, clumsily fall off the map, and get darth maul again before anyone else on my team got a hero. Very broken
Is it still best to pulse the droid's heavy vehicle with the gunship or is it better to just give it a steady beam of energy? I'm still seeing people pulse it. Didn't they remove the extra battle points from that method? What about damage wise?
When I played officer im not concerned with battlepoints. It’s just fun to help your team out and also have a good accurate pistol. Nothing’s better than feeling like you’re holding your team together as you defend a hallway
The officer is designed for team support, all their abilities and cards are aimed as supports And you could just remove everyone having the battle point card and buff point gain for other areas of each class such as headshot kills for the snipers etc
Also, about Palpatine. Just yesterday I discovered that you can use both hands for him to get higher damage and I guess that is how he is op when against him... I've been playing this game since launch and thought Palpatine was using both hands with one trigger lol
Vaders health is crazy. If you combine the middle ability and the more-health-card he has 400 more health than a sabber hero and 500 more against a blaster hero that is so strong you have to wait until his buff from the ability goes away to have a chance to kill him alone as a hero.
Its kinda funny that as Anakin in pvp I suck, but in coop I am untouchable. Now its the inverse with blaster heroes, except I am good with them in all modes.
