Gelcoat detailing is quite the rabbit hole to fall into. Next thing you know - you’re watching vids in the middle of winter. Started out by hand 20 yrs ago. Now bunch of corded & cordless polishers. A bin of wool & foam pads. Like the statement about feeling the density of the foam pad for cutting power - good stuff.
I bought your products a few months ago after seeing your video about detailing the black boat. They worked wonders on my boat in Florida and it is still gleaming. I have to stop in and get one of those purple pads!
Thank you for the feedback and we look forward to seeing you in the store. If you have any potential video ideas for us, feel free to shoot them to us as we’re always trying to help
Are those blue and orange foam pads good for the flex or mille or are they for a DA? I mainly use the grey forced rotation or the orange forced rotation.
Here is the exact one I use. Got it from Amazon amzn.to/3R98hCM The Rupes 21Lhr Mark iii is a game changer if it’s within your budget. If it isn’t, make sure you get a different brand that has a 21mm throw.
