@Set the record Straight It's not, it's the opinion of nearly everyone who visits the Louvre, including myself. It's a tiny painting, behind a glass box with an army of Chinese and American tourists around it, looking at it because they are told to look at it. Quite absurd, especially in a museum that has a wealth of far more interesting exhibits elsewhere.
Been to Paris and many different parts of France x4 (i.e. Normandy, Provence, Côte d'Azur, Lourdes, et les beaucoup chateaux & castles all over). Will go there again in a heart beat. It's where my french heritage began. Vive la France!!! Love your videos Christian!

I took my son to Paris when he was 3.5 now he’s 8. We still travel but I don’t have to carry him anymore. We walked around a lot but when he got tired and sleepy I had to carry him but we had a great time. The Notre Dame Area and Eiffel Tower were packed full of people. I enjoyed walking the residential streets and going to the bakeries in the less touristy area. Love your channel.

"Pont neuf" doesn't stand for "Bridge Nine", it means "New bridge" (even if in french "new" and "nine" are translated by "neuf") :) Its name comes from the fact that it was the first stone bridge in Paris, which was "new" (neuf) at that time, and it's the oldest in Paris :)
If you were amazed by Versailles, you should go to a place near by, called "le hameau de la reine" ; it's look like a small village. Next time, you visit Paris you should definitly go there !
I've been following you for a few months now and I am so happy to see you have come to my country!! It's so funny to hear you speak French haha, I love it. Come to Bordeaux in the South West of France, also called "Little Paris", the city of wine, 30-40 minutes away from the ocean, 30 minutes away from the vineyards and the countryside. The architecture is really beautiful and it's a really dynamic and young yet charming city. I truly recommand it, been living there for 17 years and I absolutely love it.
Loved the intro!🔥👌🏽 great recommendations for a first time in Paris. Opera is also an impressive building to see. Not too far away you will find galleries Lafayette with the most high hand brands. But the most interesting part is mostly the architecture of the building and the panoramic view of Paris from the rooftop. Bastille is also a great neighborhood to go out with many restaurants and bars to hang out in the evening. So many things to see and do in Paris!I discover new spots every time I travel to this city
That would be my tip to people planning a visit...start walking several months before you go...if possible, build up to several miles...you will see so much more...and be healthier!

Ruben Schmalenberg It does mean 9 but in this context it means new because historically, it was older than the ones next to it. Though ironically, it is the oldest bridge in Paris nowadays as it outlasted the older ones.

I would add in Musee d'Orsay. The 16th Arrandisement is the chic section and a great place to walk around. The steps across the Seine from the Eiffle Tower is Trocadero. The Financial District with all of the skyscrapers is La Defense. Taking the Metro around Paris is very easy. You can use your credit card at the vending kiosk which is multilingual to buy the metro tickets. Lavelois Parret on the west side over by La Defense is also a great place to walk around. Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, hands down. Been there, done that and one day will do it again without a thought. Thanks for the video!!!!

I must confess Paris is my favourite city in Europe, every time I thought I was in love i would travel there with my significant other. I do feel you missed a few places of interest, Rodin museum which is famous for the naked couple kissing which is called the kiss (doh) and the other is ....sorry that's my little secret. take care.

If anyone here is wondering why his shots of the Eiffel tower at night are so blurry, it's because taking pictures or footage of the Eiffel tower at night is illegal. France has a special copyright law that places copyrights on buildings that have been less than 70 years old. Because the lights on the Eiffel tower are relatively new, it's protected under this copyright law so no one can film it for commercial use.
