I use makita mostly for tools I use regularly but for occasional use I have found that the ones made by einhall but with Parkside stickers on are reasonable quality for the price. I have bought parkside tools for 1 off use and still have them there ready for the next time if needed. I cannot understand why people buy parkside and try to compare them to makita, bosch, dewault etc. for the price of 1 bosch or makita you can buy 5 or 6 different tools to try, once you find out which tools you use most go buy a better quality one. For general DIY guy and jobs round the house they are perfectly good tools as long as you relate the performance to the price you payed. Good video though I can see you are not a welder, results not all the machines fault. 😆
Ferrex does compare to Makita, Makita are more refined and last longer. I have spent 6000 on Makita and nearly 1000 on Aldi tools, my last bargains were the two Batavia Step Benches, only £30 each, down from £130 each. DeWalt have slipped in quality.
The plasma cutter a really amazing tool. Would be good if there was an attachment and rods that would make it double as a type of tig welder but without gas
So the welding machine at first is set to Mig, but later you connected gas to switch to Tig operation? I know there is a gasless Parkside welder ( flux ) but I'm not sure which is which and what's the difference between MIG vs TIG.
I don't have any extra money for any of these things. I'm on a set budget. I'm a disabled veteran and me and my wife are barely making it now. I wish I could get some of the things that are on your channel. Keep up the good work.
Are u wanting a hand out or something or me to magically give u it ? U might be stugling or what but these tools are cheap of the cheap pus some mond buy 1 paund a week a week until u can buy it or anything uses said tools learn with disabilities and make wee things and sell them boom u get both problems solved dont u and if u cant aford 1 paubd a week or more im sure if u scavenge u can find i built up a full garge age of 12 with no money snd only stuff i cauld find and get for free of facebook etc and work my way up and got a full snap on tool box bye the age of 15 and spent less than 100 quid it’s possible
@@robbieking8874 did you even read the damn posting! Not once did I ask for a damn thing on here! I too have almost $10,000 worth of tools in my garage. I just don't have anything like that! As for my disabilities, I was disabled in Iraq!! You might want to go back to school and learn how write! It seems like your education has suffered really bad. I used to be a certified mechanic. And a CNC machine operator. Plus I know a lot about woodworking and bricklaying! I also was taught a lot about construction. I have all kinds of great tools in my garage, just nothing like this! Like I said, my disabilities money only goes so far! So get off your high pony and go get you some fish and chips, okay matie!
The torchhead on the plasma cutter can be modified to have pilot arc. Just solder a cable to the copper tip (behind the ceramic shield) and run it through the handle/cable down to the earth connection. Now you dont need to ground the piece you cut and can cut through fence/rust etc
Is it available with 40 Amps please and how thick of sheet metal you can cut with the 40 Amps please ?? and your response would be highly appreciated....SIR GEE
@@aleddavies770 check impact screwdriver PDSSAP 20-Li A1 compared to the regular green one. I looked at the black angle grinder (battery) today. It says like “30% longer battery life, 40% more power compared to [model of green one]”
I have been running parkside 20v battery tools in my workshop since last year They've been doing great The battery's don't last very long but they also don't cost a lot and charge quickly
hi,nver done welding before,so when you bent it inthe vice and it broke was that good or bad?,also i have an old land rover that needs welding on chassis 3mm thick i think will that be ok for that?,god video by the way, thanks Mark
I’ve got the battery grinder, and it’s pretty nice with the variable speed when using different types of sanding discs, though I doubt it’s for anything more then light home use in quality.
I have the grinder and it's been used for cutting steel, then cutting bricks.. Have 2 5ah batteries and it does job well... Ideal if on roof and odd bit of pointing (cutting out).... Very pleased so far....
I heard from a few guys that it's easily bricked. You can't work with it too long, because once you overheat it, waiting to cool it off won't do anything. It won't turn on again. One dude bricked three grinders this way. On the third time, he asked for a refund.
@@Miestwin Yeah I noticed that there is a very slight leak of oil from the gearbox if it gets pretty hot after running for a good while, but with how rarely and short periods I use mine it probably won’t be a problem. My vibration multi tool though almost fried when I overloaded it, the motor stalled and I could see visible sparking / light from the motor, fortunately it still worked after shutting it down quickly enough - though it smelled of burnt motor after.
@@Miestwin duh..... it's a fucking 30 quid grinder from a supermarket... not a professional tool. If you run it long enough to get it hot you are needing a pro tool. It's not hard to figure out the difference between a 12inch man eater and a couple of times a year battery tool.....
У меня перфоратор от парксайд, теперь немогу якорь найти, кстати где можно заказать незнаете, и место рождееия производителя парксайд.? Лайк от меня, классная подборка инструмента.
I bougth a Parkside drillmachine 20 V....in a LIDL shop. Really super, powerfull, complete in a box for small money.. Good stuff dont need to be expensive..! Its much ,much better than my old Bosch... And... I am not payed for promotion..
Hi yhanks for the videos, unfortunatelly i caight theem late... any idea how good or bad, and how it compares, theeir new version of the 120 welder: PIFDS 120 B2? thanks in advance
@@MakeAndTest thanks for the quick response.. i was looking for something cheap that can do fast, easy and sparse jobbies... flux welding seems very easy and fast... not great welds, but enough for what i wanted to use it for.
Safety glasses, thick leather gloves (gauntlets) and avoid wearing any highly flammable clothes. Hot metal in your boots is no fun so either be mindful of where the slag (molten metal) is going or tuck your boots into your trousers
It's a welding process so you need a welding mask. Safety glasses won't block enough light. Self-darkening shield (also available from Lidl) is easiest.
The garden Multi-tool looks a lot better than my mains long hedge trimmer I bought a few years ago. As yet we haven't see any of these new 40v dual battery units in the UK, now we may not get ehm due to BREXIT.
yes Brexit is fantastic, freedom has started in Great United Kingdom, it will spread to Italy and Sweden. The NWO will be stopped. Claus Schwab is finished.
Bought the 20v angle grinder and the 20v drill, both packed up on afew hours worth of work, the drill speed just slowed as if it's struggling, the angle grinder motor just stopped working.
problem with many of these cheaper tools for me has been the "after run" ... meaning when you release the button, I want the machine stop doing any motion almost imidiately.... this was most notable with my friends parkside reciprocating saw, which keeps "running" for several seconds after releasing the button. This is an annoyance and a safety issue.
De zaag werkt fantastisch maar ik ben al een maand bezig om een nieuw zaagblad te bestellen en dat is nog steeds niet gelukt dus staat de zaag werkeloos in mijn werkplaats
