Love the channel, great content. Just a sentence description of a territory in Golarion is a solid elevator pitch for a campaign. On the topic of evil campaigns/parties, I’ve only played in one that lasted for years and in practice it wasn’t very different than a good campaign. The concept was an orc champion united a bunch of tribes into a massive hoard but was ultimately defeated, and the job of the PCs was to rebuild his army and succeed where he failed. We were a band of orcs and goblins and such but we had to behave because we didn’t want to give our neighbors any excuse to hunt us down and annihilate us. We made a huge effort of building diplomatic relations so we could safely travel within the borders of different fiefdoms that would kill us if they knew what we were really up to. We’d ingratiate ourselves to whatever local authorities by offering our adventuring services to anyone that would hear us out. The intraparty debate was whether we wanted pursue the original mission, or turn our warband into a settlement and try to live harmoniously with the other peoples nearby. Players moved and the campaign ended before we had to decide either way, but to this day I’m proud of how successfully we threaded that needle while remaining bad guys the whole time.

I ran a year-long Kaer Maga campaign for my players, it was quite the ride. The buy-in I gave them was basically “make a misfit character, go crazy” which was very different. They ended up adopting the first ghoul they discovered and made him the main character of the entire adventure.

i think that comment of "robert is still a teenager" really hits home for me. i use TTRPGS 100% as a escapism and therapy, when i first started i was still in a pretty rough home life sitch, and as a adult who has succesfully bailed. i STILL feel that..... the REAL world has been tainted? and there is still this part of me that is like "this is the fantasy realm. this is safe, but not really, but i SIGNED UP for the not safe" i dont know if i game for ME?..... i think i game for that scared kid who would read the hobbit at 1 am by the light of the street light outside. the pyschology of TTRPGS is a FASCINATING field of study.

One of the major issues with Iomedae and Sarenrae worshippers in Kaer Maga is that they're extremely anti-undead. Making undead is legal in Kaer Maga as long as they aren't intelligent. Undead are often sold as slaves (including to a particular brothel) and there's nothing stopping any random person from being raised. Even if they were chill about leaving the undead alone, they'd 100% go after necromancers on principal. Anyway. My top five are: 1. Kaer Maga: There's a lot of potential for a lovecraftian campaign or something equally crazy here, in both the city and undercity. 2. Nidal: The entire country swears allegiance to Zon-Kuthon and, unlike Chelliax, ruthlessly enforces his worship. It could be great for an evil, inquisition themed campaign. 3.Mediogalti Island: A campaign where players join, are trained by, the perform increasingly more brazen assassinations for the Red Mantis. 4. Mzali (Mwangi Expanse): Paizo has placed a lot of potential adventure hooks here throughout the Lost Omens books with the mist obviously being in the Mwangi Expanse book. Overthrowing an evil undead godling and restoring the worship the old sun gods sounds pretty great. It could also be subverted if you wanted to try and corrupt the people into worshipping something else entirely. 1. Sarkoris: The World Wound is closed but demons still roam the land and the people of Sarkoris have been displaced for about a century. This could be a good olace for a Kingmaker style campaign themed around resettling and purifying the land.
