I love France but why are the French so rude to foreigners? Some of my friends won’t go back there. I went to Paris twice and, honestly, not one person was nice to us.

@@mialia8120 Because Paris is now full of individual pretentious people who think France is Paris, and that's for the rich parts. For the poor sides it's full of immigrants from Africa who cares only about money and doesn't respect shit. But once you are outside of Paris you will find a lot of nice people all around. The further you move away from Paris, the better. It doesn't matter if it's north, south, east or west. I tell you that as a French who live in Normandy close to Paris and have lived a bit inside Paris.

If you are talking about my favourite holiday destinations, well....I have been to probably 35 countries around the world, loved around 20 of them, liked 12 of them but didn't like 3 countries much. My top 10 favourite destinations are: 1. Maldives 2. Seychelles 3. Mauritius 4. Malaysia 5. Thailand 6. Italy 7. Turkey 8. Egypt 9. Indonesia 10. Philippines The next 5 in order are: St Lucia, Jamaica, Spain, Greece and Singapore

@@mialia8120 the best places in Puglia can be found in the province of Bari (must see: the old town of the city, and the villages of Monopoli, Polignano, Alberobello, and Locorotondo), Salento (must see: the city of Lecce, and the villages of Gallipoli, Otranto, and Ostuni). Typically, the best beaches are in the area of Gallipoli, Otranto and Ostuni / Carovigno since Bari’s coast it’s mostly rocks. Is is typical when visiting Puglia to stay in a “Trullo” or a masseria, which are rural houses or farms converted into hotels, and many have pools as well; for that, the best area is the Itria Valley, which is basically between Bari and Salento. When in Puglia, it’s definitely worth visiting the city of Matera (in the near region of Basilicata), a very unique place where many movies where filmed (i.e. “The passion of Christ”, “James Bond”), and where it’s possible to sleep in traditional caves. Lastly, there is the Gargano (about 2 and half hours North Bari), an area of Puglia with other very beautiful villages and beaches that deserves a holiday on its own; the highlights are Vieste, Peschici, Monte Sant’Angelo, and the Tremiti Islands. In comparison to other areas of Puglia, the Gargano has a more scenic and mountainous landscape, whereas Salento it’s mostly flat, but has the typical Mediterranean crystal clear water. Best avoiding July and August though, as it gets super crowded. In June and September the weather it’s normally very good, and it rains very little over there.

As an Italian I can say every Italian knows how beautiful their country is but as soon as you look further into Italy you can understand why most citizens are not happy with the country. The government is just a ridiculous Kindergarten of money addicted people who don’t care about lying to their citizens or to corrupt the state more than it already is. As everyone knows mafia is a big problem too, they‘re literally everywhere and the power they have in Italy is just concerning.

@@joshuabenedict3515 im not living in Italy but whenever I visit you can see how less they care about the country. Italy is so beautiful. One example of how bad Italy is, is the garbage. In southern Italy in particular the roads are just embarrassing to look at. This was one example there are many many more. I don’t want to say Italy is bad and I also would never say that but Italy has so much lost potential.

Went to Italy in 1986 . While I loved Venice, Florence & Naples, my favorite of all I have to say was Anna Capri. I felt like I died and went to heaven. Anyone Who is lucky enough to live in that wonderful country is very blessed. ❤️

Was in Italy for two weeks in 1981. I fell in love. The people, the food and the history are beyond wonderful. Florence, Venice twice, Rome, Pompeii, Naples. I’d love to go back.

@@RyanShirley Santa Margherita is a very nice place in South Sardinia, near its capital Cagliari, my city. Sardinia has so much to offer from south to north, and from west to east, so many amazing places you should check also Villasimius, Chia, Tuerredda as beaches but I really could stay here all night writing all the beauties of my land ahahah. I also recommend you to visit the region my father is from, Umbria. Similar to Tuscany, with lots of medievil cities and natural sites. Great video by the way.

@@RyanShirley I'm not Italian (I'm German), but we've talked about Italy's economy quite a lot in Italian class. (So Italians, feel free to correct me lol.) It's very hard for young people to find a job, even for graduates that have a Master's. Many still live with their parents in their late twenties, though that's not a fault of their own. There are a bunch of other factors that complicate things even further, i.e. organized crime in the south, social disparities, politics. As a result of this, many go abroad or spend a few years abroad, for example in Germany, since our economy is quite strong. Most Italians tend to have quite a strong love-hate relationship with their country, it's definitely something I think most inhabitants can agree on lol.

Well I don't know if I can speak for all italians but you're definitely right on everything from my experience ahah Ultimately I'd say it's an administrative issue, a political one in many aspects as well. If you're looking for an easy access in the working-world Italy is not the best bet. Even if you did find a decent job, you'd have to settle most times for something mediocre. However. If you don't have economic issues. Then it's one of the best places on earth hands down.

I agree. I spent 5 years abroad (Japan mostly and USA). I love my country but it should be better with politicians who really love our beautiful Italy. I also would like Vatican doesn't interfer in our things

I would try to say Rome between the cities, Sardinia between the seaside and the Dolomites (for me the most beautiful mountains of the world). But the main feature of Italy I would say are the hundreds of villages present throughout the territory, which derives from its rich medieval history (a time when attention to beauty was particularly strong)

@@maggie2631 yep, when you live here you realise in just how many aspects we are actually behind many other countries in europe: infrastructures, public transportation, services, the whole political situation, it's such a mess. But in terms of tourism, there's very close to nowhere else in the world where you can find a mixture of stunning cities, incredible towns and beautiful diverse landscapes such as in here.

@@RyanShirley I live in province of Bergamo , about 25 km far from Milan. I am In The Padania plain , that is very picturesque for its ditches ( fossi) and resurgences( fontanili) and fields. A very beautiful area often often understimated because of the large presence of factories.

@@RyanShirley Great hearing from you! The Dolomites (especially Val Gadenda) are in my heart, there's no doubt. From the first image I saw of those jagged peaks in Seceda Puez Odle National Park many years ago. Have you visited Abruzzo - specifically the Gran Sasso national park? There are peaks there that offer views (from the center of the Italian peninsula) all the way to the Adriatic! Also in Abruzzo are crystal, mountain-fed rivers - Fiume Tirino to name one. The region is extremely rugged, mostly untouched by tourism and the food is outstanding.
