Penang is very over-rated. Built up lots and commercialised like Phuket. Historically interesting, but average beaches. 😮

There are some beautiful and fascinating heritage buildings here. But they are drowned out by copious high rise monstrosities, even in mid-sized towns. Too many hideously attired Muslim women too. Better places in the world!
