August 28th I will set course for Java, it has been close to 30 years since my last visit..travelled a lot back in the early 90's with my late father..I am excited to see what has become of my childhood memories and relive some moments from a distant past..places I know from before are Jakarta, Yogya, Surabaya, Bandung, Malang and Semarang..going to each of them again to make new lasting memories. Java and the whole of Indonesia will always have a place in my heart.
Jakarta Yogyakarta Banten Ujung kulon Nationalpark... Bogor BotanicalGarden..Bandung.WestjavaSemarang CentralJava Surabaya EastJava Malang Bromo Tengger Semeru
I went to Jakarta twice but I didn't get time to visit other parts of Java Island due to time constraints but hopefully I will visit some of the places in Java listed in the video in the near future especially Surabaya
Where’s Bandung on West Java on this list? The only West Java part covered here is Pangandaran and that’s just a tiny place in West Java. Bandung and Bogor should at least make to the list. After all, Bandung is one of Indonesia’s most favorite cities. I hope next time it will be featured in your video.
Year 2023, too expensive to defend and feed and too much of a liability. Indinesia should consider kicking java and bali out. Grant them independence under oh-mama joker-dodo-bird. Malaysia kicked singapore out but singapore have hokkien. Dodo-bird is not chinese-hokkien.

A strange list in my opinion, but a really well made video. You didn’t let the music or your narration overpower the great video work. I wish more videos were like this.
I came across your video here on RU-vid and I am certainly glad I did!! While I'm planning my second trip to the East Indonesia has surface and has caught my Attention!! West Java seems to be the Providence that's impressive to Me!! Although I love the culture as well as the traditions getting a look around of the cities was fascinating as well!! This video gave a wide range of different areas to explore should I come for a visit!! Great Video and Thanks for Sharing🧡🤍🔥🤍🧡
Hi Stef love your video. Beautiful, thanks for sharing. My husband and I love to visit Indonesia. We like to start in Bali. Is it easy to travel from Bali to Java? Is a month enough to see some of Indonesia?
Thanks for watching Ludwina. I didn't visit Bali, but it seems pretty straightforward. There are flights and ferries regularly. I spent one month on Java, and could stay longer. Safe travels :)
From Bali, you may use airport at Denpasar or Gilimanuk harbour for to going to Java. For suggestions, you may start with East Java who having alot nature scenery like Bromo, Ijen and Pacitan (one of part world biggest pre historic region), ancient java history site, like trowulan site and many candi's ground, then bustling city like Surabaya. Human fault disaster is also interesting in here. I call for Lapindo disaster on Sidoarjo who may still getting worst (and great) today. Then you may convern to Middle Java. An ancient java history site like Borobudur, Prambanan and uncounted another site from Hindu, Budha and Islamic culture. Go to Jogjakarta and Solo for being experience the last monarchy and culture of java and Semarang for Europe culture who shadowing city culture. Then you may can enjoy nature at region of Magelang, Dieng, volcanic experience at Merbabu and Merapi, road scenary of Sindoro Sumbing and Gunung Prau, surfing-able region on Cilacap, and many mores. Then you may go to East Java. Enjoy Sundanese culture including isolated villages of Badui, last region of wild region on Ujung Kulon, great nature - city of Bogor, cultural mode at Bandung, and capital of Jakarta.
indonesia is beautiful but their vehicles are making every visitor turned off. so noisy and polluted. one person one vehicles for 250 m population. its crazy. and they do nothing about it.
@@stefhoffer much progress actually. Better public transportation, more garden in the city (some even under flyover/bridge), more sidewalks. The downside is, many businesses had to close, some are reopening but some just went bankrupt. Business/office hours are weird to say the least. The govt make decisions and change office hours & rules depending on # of Covid cases, which means it changes almost biweekly. It's getting better tho, and more stable.
@@atchanih So good changes in general, that's very nice to hear! The pandemic is having a bad effect everywhere, but hopefully it's only a temporary situation! Good luck with everything there, I'd love to visit Indonesia again :)
Hai Stef... im from PANGANDARAN west java, just found and watch your chanel... thank u for mention my hometown... Semoga Sukses selalu , meaning "Hopefully you will always success"..
West Java and Banten provinces are overlapped.......from Serang ,Banten ,you can watch Krakatau Child (a rebirth of a volcanic mountain in the sea ,after it burst 2 centuries ago)......
You missed covering national parks such of Baluran in east Java and Ujung kulon in Banten. Despite being the most populated island in the world, Java still has space for increadible endemic flora and fauna.
Very informative and well explained video It seems you have discovered a lot about Indonesia Perfectly elaborated in short time I have spent a year in lembang Bandung It’s a heaven on earth
