We didn't appreciate what we had...so it got taken away from us...I'd take anybody back there until this year...but I believe in Jeff Sims...we guna be good yall 😀😃🙂 RIP T-Mart
Weirdly I was with some friends from NWern at a NWern fan bar in a big city, and I was the only one there wearing Husker gear. When that happened I jumped up shouting and the entire bar just glared at me in silence. Awkward but awesome.
Players that I grew up watching Kenny Bell Ameer Abdullah Rex Burkhead Lavonte David Taylor Martinez Mr. Sam Foltz Tommy Armstrong Jr Quincy Enunwa Randy Gregory Roy Helu Jr The Cottons (All) Niles Paul And the great *Ndamukong Suh* Along with a few others that escape my mind at the moment. I know the 90s teams were the absolute epitome of football, but we definitely had some quality football last decade too Also: if you wanna feel old and young at the same time, if you remember Zach Lee and Cody Green then you can
Jared Crick, Adam Carriker, Prince Amukamara, Ryan Gomes, Andy Janovic, Eric Martin, Steve Octavian, Zack Potter, Alfonso Dennard, Eric Hagg, Mike McNeil, Phillip Dillard, Alex Henery, Adi Kunalic, and yeah theres more
Remember when it was unacceptable for Bo to win 9 games. I'm a Born Nebraskan and am glad to see Frost the savior loose. Invested soo much money and confidence into such a young coach. I wish Bo was back.
Some more HMs -stopping Montee Ball vs Wisconsin 2012 to seal the come from behind win. -Ameer Abdullah throwing the U down cause F The hurricanes. -Ameers catch and run against NW to set up the Hail Kellogg -Nate Gerry handing the ball back to Josh Allen after he just picked him off 😆 -Roy Helu running wild on Misery 2010 (3+ 50yd td runs)
How quickly some of these players are forgotten about!! Incredible athletes... put their "heart and souls" into the program...10 years later, forgotten about!
Gone, but not forgotten. I still play Madden 2010 and NCAA football 2010 on PS2 and I get these guys all onto one team together. Thats some fun shit. Maurice Purify and some others are on there too. Matt Herian.
was there for enunwa 100 yard, bought trash bags from the janitor just to stay dry like a DIY poncho. Absolutely crazy now I officiate tommy armstrongs rec league basketball games. T'd him up the other day XD
Hype video! Gazpacho has been around since Roman times, at least in its basic form: a cold soup of leftover bread, water, vinegar, garlic and olive oil. Enriched later with New World tomatoes and peppers, it was pounded with massive pestles in a communal bowl to sustain laborers in the fields. Happily, gazpachos have gotten smoother since (gracias, el blender!), though the trick that imparts its velvety texture-soaking the bread in the liquid first-remains fundamental.
Comment below if you agree or disagree! What is your list? Also would you guys want a top ten most heartbreaking plays? Should I do a top ten video for the 2000's and the 90's? Let me know!
Would have left out plays #7, 6, 4 & 3. I remember them all, but I think there were many plays just like or very similar to those. Add 2011 Jared Crick tackle (2nd qtr) vs Washington, 2018 Antonio Reed sack vs Michigan State, 2015 Nate Gerry tackle (2nd Qtr) vs Iowa or 2014 Gerry vs Purdue endzone interception & 2017 Stanley 1-handed catch for TD vs Iowa.
I think Ameer's catch and run should have been first. Tied with an FCS team with less than a minute to go, if he doesn't make that play it could have been catastrophic.
I would’ve put the Northwestern throw from the 3rd stringer first and replaced the Vonn strip with the Janovich run. Solid, enjoyable video. To think, the whole time we had T. Martinez and Tommy Armstrong, people were complaining. Look at us now. Hopefully, next years quarterback isn’t a big dud.
The 99 yarder to Enunwa was really about 99.9 yards. The play before Armstrong got tackled with the ball about an inch outside the goal line, so that play is the longest possible TD in history.
I still can’t believe I was midstream in an Everbank Stadium’s bathroom when Quincy caught that ball... Sat in the freezing rain all game, hung over from New Years Eve, and missed the best play of the game. Smh.
I sat out in that rain too. I had a $2 rain poncho that went to pieces when Enunwa caught it and took off. By the time he crossed the goal line I was about 3 rows down and 6 seats left if where I was when the play started.
My Beau goes on about this team. Sport gets its hooks into alums who donate $$ so I understand the fantastic spectacle it is quite rousing. Edit: I don't mind football it is a fine passtime when it's too cold to go anywhere.
I didn't know Nebraska was still playing football this decade. I thought they quit last century. The last time they won a Conference Championship was 1999.
@@danhathaway7984 So true. Everybody wants to say Martinez lost it, but they forget that he was playing hurt for most of his career, because the line couldn't block & we never had a decent backup to give himi time to heal.
