I'm having a hard time getting fossils in Pokémon sheild. Those digging brothers cost 500 watts and consistency have their shovel break after 1 hit and its always something I don't need. 😅

I wish Galarian Rapidash line could come back. I like Alolan Ninetales and look forward to using it. I want Togekiss, Roserade, Drapion , Manaphy, Armando, Swanna, Lopunny, Alakazam, Jellicent and Alolan Marowak to come back big time.
tbh... i have a feeling some Pokemon don't make it into a game because they can steal the thunder of a new Pokemon. Like... i can see why Budew hasn't been in the game... since design wise... apart from the color, Smoliv and Budew look kinda similair, especially from a distance, with the way the games are set-up. Like, i personally don't mind if Pokemon get skipped a generation. Take the Snorunt line for example: It has been in every game since introduction and despite Glalie being my favorite mon, its getting tiring seeing it every game (Except for Lets Go, but thats a remake a no other non-gen 1 mon was in that game anyways). However, i do feel like us having a limited amount of ice type Pokemon also contributes to the factor that its in every game, else the Ice type options are so limited.
I feel the major reason why Alakazam hasn't been the base games lately is because of it's line's evolution process. Kadabra evolves from Abra at 16 and into Alakazam by trade and with how easy it is to trade nowadays having access to a non bug type fully evolved Pokemon under level 20 will kinda make the game even more easier. Honestly probably the same reasons we haven't seen the Nidos in a base roster in a long time.
This Ranking is quite interesting. Obstagoon would be on my personal wish list as well. It's my favourite Gen. 8 Pokémon, even to the point that I hunted for a shiny Galarian Zigzagoon and got it after 992 Encounters. ^^ I also hope that they include the Whismur line. Whismur itself is just cute, Loudred is awesome because of PMD2 and Exploud would be even better in Gen. 9 than it was before, thanks to terastalization. Imagine a choice specs / throat spray Tera Type normal (STAB = 200% instead of 150%) Boomburst... Not even Ghost - type Pokémon would be safe because of scrappy... Number 3 on my list would be Vanilluxe. I really like it (it's one of my favourite ice - type Pokémon) and it also got better because of the new mechanics in Gen. 9 Snnow doubles its physical defense, making it quite good on the defensive side (Weak Armor might be an option to take some hits and raise its speed). and terastalization could be used to either change its weaknesses or increase the power of Blizzard. Vanilluxe only problem is it's movvepool. The number of coverage moves is quite small to say the least.
I feel like one of the biggest flaws in this list is that you mentioned some Pokémon having specific moves yet starting with Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl movesets have been dictated between sets of games. So for all we know if Machamp does make it into the DLC it may or may not have dynamic punch. Same thing goes for Diggersby still having U-Turn or Manaphy having Tail Glow. Who's to say they'll keep those moves when they transfer up? If they got rid of Volt Tackle on Pikachu's Cap forms then who's to say this won't be happening?
I just had a crazy thought and idea when you said about that Beast Ball and the Ultra Beasts. If they did return in Scarlet & Violet in a DLC, they could perhaps introduce a new one, but it's also a Convergent Pokemon variant ... one that. resembles Voltorb, but it mimics a Beast Ball..?
Having Ultra Beasts again would surely break the meta, but I'm a casual so I don't care. I need my Buzzwole back! Easily my favorite UB, I would just love to use him to slaughter the entire DLC storyline in no time flat. Plus, with no UBs, I didn't want to just look at my Beast Ball, so I shiny hunted Houndour to catch it in, JUST BECAUSE IT MATCHED. Also, because Houndoom is my favorite Dark type Pokemon, but that's not as relevant.
Latias. She would have had a huge improvement with calm mind, steel Tera, and a sandstorm set up since sand increases her special defense. Such a shame this girl cannot escape NU.
@@EnriqueLaberintico Then she can have the rock type Tera. She would still be immune to ground. Water and grass are mostly special so she would have really good defense for that. Flamethrower would take care of steel types.
Unpopular opinion: Bring back the Elemental Monkeys. I loved them. Especially Simipour Also bring back ALL the fossils. I miss Aerodactyl and Tyrantrum
i like the elemental monkeys as well but holy shit the fossils not being in the game is a giant mistake my favorite ones are archeops, carracosta and aerodactyl
@@loidviera2140 I always feel like I’ve taken fossils for granted. And once we didn’t have any now I want them all lol. Areodactyl and Tyrantrum are my must needed. And even though it’s pretty weak, Aurorus would be amazing since I was a fan of the Kalos fossils

Some Pokémon are expected to come because of datamines. Some are expected because of images and some are expected because of patterns. It's a mix of all of these, yes.
I am more worried about if the DLC will get physical cartridge releases. So far, it's not looking good, as the "physical" copies of SV with DLC are just the base games with the DLC being a serial code in the box on paper, which can only be redeemed online. I don't have Nintendo Switch Online. 😑
I am sad that Roserade or Aggron didn’t make it (all pokemon should be in the game) but happy my girl Flygon made the cut for Indigo Disk. Telling you tera steel Flygon could be extremely powerful.
Sadly, the best Alolan mon returning is the cat that sends Doubles & VGC players to Vietnam with the amount of trauma & usage it has for the past 2 generations, but we can avoid that until Indigo Disk's release is confirmed.
Furfrou neefs to be om that list. Gen 5 missing mons will get remakes. Furfrou needs to be implemented onto a switch game. Im ok with Alakazam and Machamp skipping as they are typically in every region. Infact lets cut Psyduck, Ralts and Magikarp for once in gen 10
Honestly, we will probably be getting a third dlc option next year. This is based on the fact that this dlc is a part 1 and part 2 dlc, making a third dlc probably likely.
All pokemon should be in the game at this point for the collectors. Any competitve could just ban the ones they dont want in or maybe rotate out certain mons every few months.
It's not just about competitive. It's also about playthroughs as well. Do you want to keep on using the same teams or do you want to vary yourself? In terms of Starters, Legendaries and everything in between? It's also about saving resources on stuff that's not as needed. It's about a lot of things, really. Would having all the Pokémon be great? Absolutely. But is it something we need right now? Not exactly. I remember playing NatDex OU and the only thing I felt was sheer chaos, for example with the gimmicks and the strongest Pokémon going on a rampage.
@@GoinGreninja starts off with its not just about competitive and ends with my bad competitive experience smh. ALL POKEMON SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN EVERY GAME THAT IS RELEASED! Stop the version exclusives, stop adding mons thru dlc that could have been in the original game. I don't use the same pokemon but if you think hard about it even using the same mons in every game would make the playthrough experience different because of the typing/gym leaders/elite4 differences.
I wish if Pokémon in future gens have separated 3rd games instead of just DLC just like yellow, Crystal, emerald, platinum, Black 2/White 2 and Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon So that way players start off fresh by having new teams and getting DLC is not that easy as DLC is digital
I'm really happy with a lot of the Pokemon we got back, but even I was hoping Alakazam and Yamper would be coming back. I mean, I'm pretty sure remnants of Alakazam's code were found in the game if I'm not mistaken, so even I thought he'd be coming back.
The thing is, Shaymin wasn't included in the datamined list of returning mons but was confirmed later on. In fact, there weren't any legendary or mythical Pokemon on the list, but we can assume the legendary beasts and swords of justice at least will be brought back in some capacity on account of their paradoxes.
probably the only reason that Pokemon refuses to bring back the Ultra Beasts is probably because they feel if they bring back ultra beasts, then the tcg will feel "messed up" or "too disorganized" or whatever
Had to go and see what's confirmed surely there has to be more Pokémon coming cas if there ain't the zubat, venipede and staryu lines plus machamp . Seen what's both game exclusive make it universal
Raid pokemon are a guaranteed catch. Use the special pokeballs on raids, if you like them that much. I got a few beast balls in suprise trades. And ive been using them in all the 7 star raids. Besides the first 3. And trying to use them on any pokemon that has a hisuan form so i can breed them with beast balls.
I like to believe that the reason they didn't bring back Alakazam is because a long long time ago they got sued for that Pokemon and they don't want it to happen again they need to make money after all
Not only do I want every pokemon to return, I want every previous mc gym leader rival champion villain and e4 member to return with absolutely cracked teams with perfect evs and ivs and items, mega evolutions, z moves, dynamax, all of that. Gimme everything
TyranitarTube made a good point, the SV dlc feel more like expansions of the story vs the SwSh dlc having almost no connection to the story of that game
