Very blue Vicky I totally agree. For example, Mr Darcy and Tom have such different qualities, but for each one, the voice is a key defining characteristic. And it’s completely different in tone, depth, accent, expression... Not many actors can pull that off.

Final scene of season 2 was jaw dropping! Jeremy Strong made me cry when he cried while telling Shiv he wasn't gonna be the CEO. Amazing acting. But I don't sympathize with them. They are mostly horrible ppl.

actually he hardly acts.... by far the best actor is brian cox.... but the masterpiece of the series are the writers and directors that play off real life people but people gravitate to emotion and the easiest option, the person that is in the screen.... meanwhile not only the bosses and the ones that make the decisions and in case of the directors make the money are the people behind the cameras.... but most people cant see past that this is a show...and they are just puppets of the writers....

@@thepro08 He hardly acts? Isn't that what makes him a good actor? That he's able to basically become his character. The cast even mentioned in some interview (not sure which one) that Jeremy Strong went into his character so much that they were a bit worried about his mental state off camera. But i guess it all has payed off. He's a damn good actor, making everything about his character seem so natural.

Succession is not a Comedy. It’s just got comic aspects. Usually in a weird way. I love when they make a face and the cam zooms in. Then zooms in more. For every weird look, surprised expression, or just straight up embarrassment. As far as Shakespeare, Brian Cox has always said he takes inspiration mostly from King Lear (and from what I gather, he’s a theatre actor, unlike Kieran Culkin and such). Btw I was pulled in by the very pilot, where that little boy almost makes a million bucks but Roman rips up the check in front of him. It’s still got it’s fire and hasn’t changed much tho.

Was completely sucked in from episode one, and it’s the rare series that keeps getting better & better. Costuming, set design, music, casting, and especially acting, writing and dialogue all on point. Up there with my all time favorite shows: The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, BoJack Horseman and the original Twilight Zone.

I heard about this show and last week gave it a go. Holy fuck balls. After literally the first episode I knew this was something special. Like GOT but in modern times-corporate america. Such unreal acting, amazing characters. Tom and Cuz Greg have the best dynamic, but I gotta give love to Jeremy Strong and Brian Cox. They are the life blood of the show. Kieran Culkan rocks too and his "issues" are halarious. What a fucking show, man.
