High Society is my favorite Knizia game! I always feel like I’ll be judged for saying that, so I’m happy it ranked so well on your list! I feel vindicated.

That summary of Lost Cities is… not all that close to the rules! 😂 But it is a great game-and nice list!

I think Samurai is one of my favorites. I still have a lot of his top games i need to play (T&E, Ra, Amun-Re). I like Kingdoms and Battle Line a lot too and we're gonna play El Dorado tonight!

No Modern Art? If there’s any doubt Knizia is one of the all-time greats, the ability to make a top-10 list and leave off one of the best games of all time is incredible. He’s amazing. I need to try High Society!

Very good job! The Knizia games I own are: LLAMA, High Society, Lost Cities, Pumafiosi, Royal Visit, Taj Mahal, Whale Riders, Battle Line, Ingenious, Medici, Quest for El Dorado, Through the Desert, King’s Road, Ra, Modern Art, Tower of Babel, Blue Lagoon, My City, Samurai ➕Medici: The Card Game.

Shotten Totten or Battlelines (minor variations on each other). Quo Vadis or the more recent Zoo Vadis reskin. But for quick, easy, and surprisingly good nothing beats En Guarde, his ultra-simple but ultra-subtle fencing game of moving closer or further from your opponent to try to land an unparried hit.

My No. 1 Knizia is also Quest for El Dorado. It's one of my favourite games of all time.

I’m a big fan of the Good Doctor’s auction games. My favs are Ra for lower player counts and Medici for higher player counts.

Amun Re is our group favourite, but he's also released the fantastic auction game Reif für die Insel this last year which basically combines elements of High Society, Amun Re and Karate Tomate. Loads of silly fun. Great to see Witchstone on this list too. Its amazing but passed soany people by.

Yellow & Yangtze (where the new version is Huang) is my favorite but I was extremely surprised about the very recently shipped Cascadero. Cascadero has like the simplest of rules but sooooo strategic that my friends and I were pleasantly exhausted after the first play XD

Thanks for the list! Another idea: Top 10 Least Favorite Knizia Games… Again, when you have designed over 600 games, there are going to just be some that aren’t as good of a design - and/or didn’t hit with you!

I only know about The Lord of the Rings, and LOTR Confrontation. Tigris & Euphrates, High Society, The Quest For El Dorado and Ra look interesting though.

I like Wiener Walzer, because it's all about trying to eat food off the floor.

Keltis (the pretty Lost Cities board game) is a big favorite of mine.

Battle Line. I have played this till my cards are ragged, and I haven't even tried the optional cards yet!
