I always find it a travesty that there are so many abandoned properties around the world, every country deals with a Homeless issue, so here's the solution, if it's haunted, get it blessed to hopefully solve that.

I went into an abandoned cabin in the woods when I was a kid. It consisted of only two rooms and was in pretty tough condition. Before entering, I stuck my head in to make sure there were no snakes. Seeing none, I entered the first small room which was vacant except for the collapsing roof. There was a little wood-burning stove in the second room and I wanted to see it up close. Once again, I stuck my head through the doorway to be sure there were no snakes. My dad was outside the cabin and looking through a window square when he yelled to me to get out of there. I looked up to see what was startling him and saw a pinesnake over the top of the doorway. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough! I would rather run into a ghost than a snake (and where there is one snake, there is at least one more snake nearby). If that snake would have dropped on my neck, I would have died right then and there!
