Creepypastas then: I went to an abandoned theme park and some costumes attacked me. Creepypastas now: If you go to McDonald’s at 3am you can order the Among us happy meal!
Very poorly done. With many images and videos, using thing that didn't relate to the characters really bored me in this. Would have loved to see some MarbleHornets on this for the slenderman part, but you can't be picky... I guess.
Thanks for the feedback, sincerely. Thankfully, you seem to be in the minority as most liked how it came together. This was tough to tackle, and we will consider future topics where the broll (accompanying video) isn't obvious. Signed Mr X.
Thanks for replying, and no worry. While I'm not huge in to creepy pastas, I was actually interested in seeing more of the pictures/etc about such characters. Maybe in the future, if this is redone, it could be tried again. I'd love to see it!
Winston Poptart For me, The Operator (Or Slenderman) is beyond scary in the factor of what he does. MarbleHornets is the only thing I watch that involves Slenderman, and how The Operator comes in to play brings up many questions. While MarbleHornets just recently ended, it was WELL put together pertaining events that include Slenderman.
like the picture in buffy or jeff losing his nose cause I'm pretty sure he isn't in buffy after watching all the episodes (sorry if i don't completely understand your comment that's just me being an idiot)
Because so many stories are fake now and people have switched Jeff's features... Sad to say because Jeff is beautiful. Tbh I don't even know the true original story.
I covered my computer screen with paper so tht I wouldn't have to look at it. Not mention if I did, I'd get to the really scary part of the creepypasta
actually it can be creepy, the games are not good but the legend is quite a bit though i liked the 9th a lot better, sentient zombies are far more creepy than a tentacle monster.
Alex Christianette The old "lol I'm only 6 I'm not scared of anything" trick doesn't work on me. Prove it. I'd like to see live footage of you at night after reading all of these creepypastas. Go on. Do it.
"Smile dog fills you with anxiety" I actually do have anxiety, so if that's what you mean, then go ahead. By the way, there should be a Jeff the killer horror film in my opinion
Thanks for that thumbnail! It has scared me like 20 times the last 4 years when scrolling on youtube. It’s in my opinion the scariest image of Jeff and it has haunted the sleepless nights of my teenage years to this day.
Actually Jeff the Killer didn't kill his brother he tried but Liu woods aka Homicidal Liu got away and now kills everyone that says anything bad about Jeff even tho his alter ego Sully *HATES* Jeff, Liu still cares for his brother aka his only family left......
Homicidal Liu is a “what if” story. As in “what if he survived?”. He cannonly died as stated in both Jane the Killer’s story and Jeff the Killer’s story.
The MEGA Couple Black Star & Silver Moon it’s not. It’s made by a fan, not the creator of Jeff and Liu. Like I said, Jane the Killer’s story confirms that he’s dead
Jeff the Killer is the most overrated dribble on the internet. The story is poorly written and mediocre as Hell. A disfigured killer with a knife...how original. Stuff like that was getting old even in the 80s. Also in the story we learn that he's a 17 year-old human boy in which case he would have died of an infection shortly after the end of the story, plus he'd go completely blind during the process of burning his eyelids. "Insanity" doesn't make you superhuman. You're still a human being and can die like any other.
+maxtheaxeiswax agreed, theres some pastas that are good such as snow on mount silver that are good but arent that known, but bad ones like sonic.exe steal the spot light!
bjgeantil 100% with ya. Sonic.exe is just as mediocre, plus I hear the author is so full of himself and calls his work a "masterpiece" that changed the internet. These stories are just junk food and not even good junk food.
"The last thing you would associate with horror is SpongeBob" Yeah, I mean who would be terrified by a guy who pops off his own arm, regrows it instantly, pops it off again, and repeats until he proceeds to eat all the arms he disembodied like popcorn?
100% agree the art is scary but the writing is horrid. It has so many plot holes, it is generic like you said and it's just plain unrealistically stupid. For something to be creepy it has to be realistic. The only reason it's so famous is because the art of Jeff is creepy.
:You know Jeff the Killer? - yes :You know the Russian Sleep experiment? - please no :Combine 'em =Jeff the Killer telling 'em to sleep while they rip themselves out to die
WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A HEART CONDITION DO NOT READ THIS. YOU WILL DROP THE FLOOR, FLOPPING LIKE A FISH, WHILE CLENCHING YOUR HEART SEEING AS YOU ARE HAVING A HEART ATTACK. ALSO: IF YOU HAVE A SENSITIVE ANUS DO NOT READ THIS; THE BRICK YOU SHIT WILL BE PAINFUL. A FEW YEARS AGO A MAN WAS WALKING DOWN A ROAD BECAUSE HIS CAR BROKE DOWN AND HE SAW A CAR COMING UP BEHIND HIM SO HE STUCK OUT HIS THUMB TO HITCH HIKE AND THE CAR STOPPED AHEAD OF HIM. HE RAN UP TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AND OPENED THE DOOR. WHEN HE OPENED THE DOOR A SKELETON POPPED OUT
This video was completely ruined by you playing random movie clips that had NOTHING to do with the Creepypasta itself! It was confusing and distracting not to mention just lazy. Seriously Mojo there are a ton of artists on RU-vid that would be more then happy to illustrate custom videos like this.
We appreciate hearing both sides of the argument, but your opinion does seem to represent the vocal minority, if the likes/dislikes are any indication. It's a style/technique, some will like it, some won't. That said, while we understand your point of view, taking the time to research corresponding movie scenes etc is pretty much the exact opposite of the definition of LAZY. But, I digress. Signed, Mr X.
The point is that it doesn't have much to do with the actual creepy pastas. I thought some made sense, but not all. And really? Jeff the Killer, Smile Dog, and Slender Man? Those aren't scary whatsoever. They were just poorly written tales to scare 8 year olds on the site browsing through "Most Popular."
I had no idea channel zero took candle cove from a creepy pasta. Great show. Shame it got cancelled. Although, admittedly, the seasons always started out stronger than they finished, especially butcher's block. But no end house was phenomenal.
Two years ago, I was terrified of Slenderman, watching my windows for Eyeless Jack, and someone who's worst fear was Jeff the Killer. Now, I'm obsessed with CreepyPasta and my fave character is Jeff
1nonrg I forget all the details, but the gist of it is that Angelica is the only child that actually exists. All of the other babies are made up because her parents ignore her and all come from some unfortunate circumstance. Maybe someone else can fill out more details for you, either that or look it up, it's out there.

Jeff the Killer is 2nd place? Its so unrealistic. WHO BURNS THEIR EYELIDS WITHOUT BURNING THEIR EYES? If somehow, he was able to burn his eyelids without the eyes burned, the ashes would fall in his eyes. HE'S BLIND, DAMMIT. Sorry Mojo, but he burned them, not cut it.
Sabrina Ong This list is pretty much just the most mainstream noteworthy creepypastas. I'd even go as far as to guess that the people at watchmojo don't really read creepypastas because there are other, far scarier ones. Everyone knows Jeff, everyone knows Slendy. There scare factor isn't what go them on this list, it's their recognition.
It's not only unrealistic, it's downright shitty. Jeff is one of the worst creepypastas I have ever read. It's just bad, it's like that shit was written by a fucking 12-year-old. Wanna read some good fucking creepypasta? Go read Bedtime.
If you want to be scared look up Marble Hornets. The creepy pasta for Slender man isn't even that scary, but Marble Hornets is based off slender man and it is fantastic. I think the series actually inspired the eight pages, but I'm not sure.
WatchMojo.com We all appreciate your hard work (besides the trolls), but we aren't going to say thanks every video mainly cause you post so many in a short amount of time
Ok, I have to agree with the general census that Slenderman kinda sucks in reality... I personally think The Russian Sleep Experiment is the best one by far... simply because it's based off of a true event, though of course not so "scary" as the creepypasta, the russian and US governments have been documented doing sleep experiments on psychiatric patients, and volunteer soldiers.
Guys don't worry I will keep you safe we have food and activities 🍏🍎🍐🍊🍋🍌🍉🍇🍓🍈🍒🍑🍍🥝🥑🍅🍆🥒🥕🌽🌶🥔🍠🌰🥜🍯🥐🍞🥖🧀🥚🍳🥓🥞🍤🍗🍖🍕🌭🍔🍟🥙🌮🌯🥗🥘🍝🍜🍲🍥🍣🍱🍛🍙🍚🍘🍢🍡🍧🍨🍦🍰🎂🍮🍭🍬🍫🍿🍩🍪🥛🍼☕️🍵🍶🍺🍻🥂🍷🥃🍸🍹🍾 ⚽️🏀🏈⚾️⚾️🏐🏉🎱🏓🏸🥅🏒🏑🏏⛳️🏹🎣🥊🥋⛸🎿⛷🏂 🎨🎬🎤🎧🎼🎹🥁🎷🎺🎸🎻🎲🎯🎳🎮🎰📱🖥⌚️💻
Honestly I don't even find it scary. It was built up so much that I thought it would be terrifying. But when I eventually read the story not a single bit scared me. I actually thought it was cheesy, kind of like a 80s slasher film. Even his name, Jeff, is ridiculous. I mean, come on, you could have come up with a more creative name.
Actually Jeff the killer didn't JUST murder his own family, he also murdered Jane's as well It stared off when Jeff moved in with his family across the street from Jane's. The school bullies tried to bully Jeff but he scared them off, and Jane offered him friendship. One day at a party the bullies returned, brutally burning Jeff. Jeff also burned Jane as well. Jeff had given her a black wig, a mask, a black dress and boots for her to wear. Jane found out that Jeff murdered his and her family, so Jane hunts down Jeff seeking for revenge, wanting to kill him. That is what actually happened. So what Jeff does is he crawls through your window at night, wait until you wake up. And when you wake up seeing him he will say "Go To Sleep" before brutally stabbing you to death.
***** I just hate how it's praised. I hate how you have super well written creepypastas like Russian Sleep Experiment and Room Zero while this is the most popular and liked creepypasta even if you can basically resume it in two sentences.
Alexander, in Germany there is a website called "trollpasta wiki" (probably self explaining) and Jeff has it's own category which had posted the original story in there :D
I love these creepypasta top tens! I know that Cupcakes and other My Little Pony creepypastas scared me forever. But I definitely agree with this list!
I find Jeff's story a little more sad than creepy. I mean, yeah, some parts are creepy. But the story is about a teen who snaps after a group of asshats get Liu thrown into juvi than later on, burns him. He than takes his anger out on his family. In some fanfictions, comics, etc. I've seen people show a trapped Jeff (before the fire) inside the homicidal one we know, or Jeff showing signs of remorse for killing his family. In my opinion, it's more depressing than creepy.
@@lightningdown4743 facts. I used to be terrified of that photo. Not so much anymore because it's obvious that it's just a heavily photoshopped, highly distorted photo but that shit was scary
That’s the only scary thing is that damn picture. Yet obviously fake. I don’t get how anyone could think these are remotely scary cuz it’s obviously pure bullshit.
Abandoned by Disney: Not scary Persuaded: Haven't seen yet Smile Dog: Not scary The Rake: Creepy, but only targets children Squidward's Suicide: Not scary The Keyhole: Not scary Candle Cove: Kinda creepy The Russian Sleep Experiment: Creepy Jeff The Killer: Beautiful, but you didn't tell the story right Slenderman: Technically not actually a creepypasta You forgot about Ticci Toby and Eyeless Jack...
In my opinion, Ticci Toby and Eyeless Jack aren't creepy at all, as well as Jeff the killer. Let me explain, Ticci Toby is decent, but not really good nor bad, there aren't really any creepy moments as well. In Eyeless Jack, it's kinda unrealistic and as well as Ticci Toby, there aren't any creepy moments. Same with Jeff, but it's just my opinion. EDIT: Slenderman started from a photoshop contest and was turned into a creepypasta
Kyubi Gamez Correction. The Rake goes after teens, children, and adults, but in same cases will have a specific target it will torment from a kid to teens before killing said target. Smile Dog is pretty creepy due to the unknown nature and the fact once you see it's face, your fucked unless you send it to a friend. Squidward's suicide is.... Well.... It's not creepy. Plus the fan game with that creepy pasta based off FNAF ruined any creepy past based off lost episodes just because of FNAFS shitty plot and gameplay. Candice Cove, well let's face it.... Kids now a days listen to it went four seven, not creepy just a loud noise. The Key hole, it's a ghost story. Ghosts are boring as fuck. Jeff The Killer, he can't be killed by any one except Jane The Killer due to him being possessed by a demon in the way, and honestly, it's the only creepypasta that's based off something semi real I like. That's my opinion added to The Rake Correction.
Here's a little fun fact about Jeff the Killer: The picture originated from 4chan's /b/ board. Some overweight woman asked 4chan to photoshop her face so she'd look more pretty. In traditional /b/ style, they do all sorts of ridiculous things to the photo, eventually ending up with the serial killer you all know and love.
