Some legitimately scary rides I've been on: -The Scooby Doo Ghoster Coaster that used to be at Kings Island (due to the seat that you straddle and horizontal bars on the side that serve as the restraint, all while dangling below the track) -KMG Speed (only when at the top waiting for the other side to load or unload) -Ferris Wheels at carnivals, particularly the ones with the single position lap bar -Barnstormer at Dollywood (held onto the seat cuz I didn't quite trust the lap bar even tho I knew logically it was 100% safe) -Any drop tower ever
The scariest ride I have ever been on has to be the portable sling shot ride called the Ejection Seat by Gravity Works Inc. That ride used to show up at fairs and festivals and the ride capsule was rigged to two tall poles by actual bungee cords. Once harnessed into your seat the capsule would be pulled down to stretch the bungee cords. Then it would be launched 150 to 200 feet in the air going from 0 to 70 mph in one second. The capsule would then bounce up and down and flip forward and backward totally untamed. I think this ride might now be banned because I haven’t seen one in a while. Know that the Funtime spring shots that are occasionally seen at permanent parks are slower and less intense because they’re spring launched and not bungee cord launched.
We agree with u about fair rides! We have season passes to cedar point every year and feel really safe but we don't do fair rides at all! Happy Halloween!!!
Great video as always - thanks guys! Yep, fair rides are super sketchy! I don't do them! I'd add Tumbili to that list. I've done it twice (and will probably do it again), but that brings screams out of me that I haven't heard myself do before! The scariest rides for me though are Ferris Wheels : ) Did Giant Wheel at CP once. Thank you, one and done.
Happy Halloween. A scary mild family ride that is kinda freaky, but also a hoot is Deno's Wonder Wheel in New York. The Gondalas slide and you're shaking like a Polaroid Picture. Disney Cali has a version, but it's not as dank as this one, this one just feels old and janky, but in a good way. Loading and unloading the ride is so trippy.
Thanks Jesse and Milo for doing this video a lot of scary rides I remember being on top of the stratosphere in Las Vegas I did ride insanaty before it closed down one of the scariest rides I rode and remember when Cedar Point had a ride that two seater then spun you around high up in the air can't remember the name also Texas Twister a few rides I remember at Geauga Lake and Cedar Point. Have a great day guys and a safe Halloween
There was a Huss Top Spin at Geauga Lake: Texas Twister was the first Top Spin in North america. and now that I've looked up that information, I have a new ride to work in to my paranormal book series set at Geauga lake...😉
Chuck here, Top Thrill 2 kind of made me nervous. in the back of my mind i would think if this ride isn't calibrated properly this thing might shoot over the spike. Weather is looking good for closing weekend at Cedar Point I'll be there no question.
