The Lord of the Mountain isn't a reference to Princess Mononoke or Hayao Miyazaki, it's an homage to Satoru Iwata who unfortunately passed away during the development of the game. The proof is that The Lord of the Mountain is located at the summit of Satori Mountain which is obviously a reference to Satoru Iwata, especially with the description in the Hyrule Compendium in mind: "This noble creature watches over all animals that make their homes in the forest. Legends say this holy creature is a reincarnation of a sage that died on the lands it now protects. It has an acute awareness of its surroundings, so it seldom appears before people. It's sometimes known by its other name, Satori."
I've seen so many people assume its from Princess Mononoke and i tell them "no its not, its a tribute to satoru iwata" but people always reply with "Look at the design though"
DefenderofHyrule I'm not defending WatchMojo (In fact I hate their videos) but to be fair, Shrines and side quests are still secrets since you need to discover them...
That doesn't make them secrets. Especially when you're told to go find them. Secrets are things the game never tells you about, but are also not easter eggs.
C D what the hells the difference? Idk what you people expect them to find. It’s just lesser known things about the game. The obviously didn’t mean secret literally as in no one but them knows about it.
I think it’s because you have to find him in Skull Lake first, and then at a town. Not saying it’s hard, but you do have to talk to him two separate times.
"if you manage to find Kilton." seriously? He's like beedle, and every other vendor. He's everywhere you are. You don't have to hope you randomly encounter him. He just only appears at towns at night. If you're at one of his spawn points at night, he's there.
#4 Make that shrine the last of the 120 shrines that you complete. That way you only have to make 1 trip through that cave because that cave is a pain. Make sure you grab all the Korok seeds on your trip through as well if you are going for all 900 korok seeds. Make sure you have a few good lynel bows, full ancient armor, and and a supply of guardian sword ++'s as well. A fully powered up master sword (trial of the sword completed) would be advised as well along with full attack up meals (4 mighty bananas and a dragon horn) and some full health restore meals (5 Hearty Durians). If you are not good at killing guardians then bring some ancient arrows as well as there are a lot of guardians in this cave.
that's what i had done. it's the only game i've been playing since march other than that.. the switch is shit, (until smash 4, metroid) don't let nobody fool you, it dies quickly too and easily scratched even with a screen protector. but enjoy it anyways.
romahnae you are so wrong. I don't know where you bought your switch from but for me the switch is the best. It doesn't die fast, it only scratchs if you don't take of it.
Nightmare Nova that doesn't mean that i'm so wrong. i assume you prolly don't even play it for a good enough period of time to observe it's battery's life span compared to say a ds lite. it's a fact that it's easily scratched just by constantly docking and undocking the switch, i don't know where you've been. i have a screen protector and if i didn't put it on, it would of been a wrap for my screen.
romahnae I don't play enough lol. I literally play my switch all day and it lasts and the battery life lasts me. It all depends on how you treat your switch. I don't even have a screen protector and I dock and undock my switch all the time and there is not even one scratch on it.
But he says “monster sword enhancing power” to actually describe the increase in attack that the armor set gives.... so he didn’t actually make a mistake.
There is a way to cheat on Eventide Island. All you do is drop some strong weapons in the water before you go ashore and start the challenge. After you enter the challenge, just go back to where you dropped your weapons and pick them back up. One bit of warning, though. Those weapons you dropped will disappear when you complete the challenge. Don't drop any weapons that you've had a very hard time acquiring or could never get again.
Honestly Eventide Island is a piece of cake. I took it too seriously my first time and died (first Hinox I had to fight) but on the second time it is quite easy to beat the Hinox around the bokkoblin camp at the top of the hill nearby. I went map exploring before completing even one divine beast so I can imagine how simple it would be with Urbosa's fury and all the other ones... Now the master sword trials make me want to die and I only did the beginning trials.
Slime Bucket u get it from the lost woods in the forest where the des u tree is its hard to explain how to get to it so watch on youtube but u need 13 Herts to get it
There are no references to it in the game. No one ever mentions it in any if the dialogues, so you can only randomly stumble upon it (assuming you don’t watch videos like this one)
Before the last update you could do a trial of the sword glitch where you start it and teleport to a divine beast and then it tricks the game into respawning everything
Jad Tawbi There is a glitch, basicly you fill the area with a ton of stuff and the game gets overloaded.. then you drop an item from your inventory.. but since the game is overloaded it forgets to remove the item from the inventory BUT stil drops on the ground.. so pick it up and you now haw two.. There are videos of it on youtube if you wanna try.
They're useful for when you need to go somewhere faster, to places you can't warp to. Plus you can sell one to a guy near the gerudo desert for 300-600 rupees.
Vik Icarus Depends on how much of the game you finish. If you don't beat all of the divine beasts and beat the game, you get an incomplete ending. Beating all of the divine beasts and then Ganon results in the complete ending in which you meet Zelda properly. Almost everyone has gotten the complete ending.
Don't mean to be rude, but you do not get the complete ending from just beating the divine beasts, you also need to get all 13 of your memories back, and after defeating ganon with all divine beasts destroyed, and the memories, you get a much better ending.
I don’t get it, link is hylian, maybe I should post a random time and say I didn’t know link was Martian and then tell people it’s just a joke what they say it’s lame.
Pretty fucking triggered at the fact that they didn’t even mention the real reason behind Lord of the Mountain, which is that it’s there as a symbol for Saturo Iwata(Nintendo’s former president, who passed away). You can also find Lord of the Mountain on Saturo mountain.
I have Dark link Costume and Dark link's weapons Dark link's weapons: - Royal Guard's Sword - Royal Guard's Shield - Royal Guard's Bow - Royal Claymore only in Hyrule Castle
Eventide and Terry Town are the only ones of these that I've been able to do... Most of these I was surprised to find out about! I knew about the Hylian Shield, just haven't found it yet. Some of the others are mildly mind-blowing!
“There’s that Mt. Doom again, Mr. Frodo. The one place in all the world we never want to see any closer, and that’s the one place in all the world we’re trying to get to.”
Shiekah isn't the only translatable language in the game. I found instances of the same Gerudo language from Occarina of Time, which can easily be deciphered using a chart found in Hyrule Historia.
Kilton's movement isn't random... He is at literally every location. As long as you visit at night it doesn't matter which town/settlement you visit. He is at them all. Most of this list isn't a secret. Its all very easily found if you .. Ya know.. Play the game. :-) Cheers people.
You can actually take weapons with you on Eventide Island. As soon as you get to shore drop some weapons off the raft (BEFORE YOU SET FOOT ON SHORE), and walk on shore, and pick up the weapons beside the raft. Make sure you don't drop anything really good like your Hylian Shield, or something rare because after you complete the Island you won't get the weapons back! It doesn't have to be anything extravagant either, I think I took a Claymore, Lynel Shield, and a Royal Bow. They should last you the whole time.
0:07 (the scene where zelda is crying, it happens quick so you may have to pause it) link may not have a voice, but he does have emotions, look at his eyes when he hugs zelda, that is the look of concern. so to all of you who say adult link has no emotions, well this is proof!(it may not be the best, or the only proof, but hey it's proof)
Angel Bowfinger i disagree. About the only thing this was lacking compared to other zelda games is the story, but considering how the game relies on players going everywhere at any time, i guess it would be hard to create a scripted story as good as TP without directly countering that freedom idea.
Didn't see any "secrets" in the video that were not found just by playing the game and was hoping for something that I had missed or more references to other Zelda games. I was so surprised at things like finding Lon Lon Ranch that I actually went and looked for a skulltula on the shed and explored the silo to see if there was a heart piece there and then took my horse for a run around the track just for old times sake. It was also a treat to recognize the court yard from OoT where Link meets the Princess and sees Ganondorf through the window in BotW. There are a few other places/items/activities with references to other Zelda games, but they are not listed in this video.
At 1:39 I think you're absolutely wrong The Lord of The Mountain is a homage to the Nintendo Switch's creator(I think) Satoru(forgot his full name)if you check the Hyrulw Compendium it was formerly a sage and now protects its land(Satori Mountain)and also it also goes by the name Satoru/Satori
Jake Lancaster Find a kid at school who's parent bought him a Switch. Have the kid invite you over. Gain his trust over a week. Once you and the kid are all alone, mug the kid. Make your get away and bam, you have a switch. Feel free to edit this plan a little, remember improvising is a must for any thief.
It's definitely Game of the Year, but it's a horrible Zelda. Literally just Zelda in name. The game is just so far removed from the core franchise, that it's unrecognizable. It'd make sense if it were meant to be a "spinoff" like Hyrule Warriors, but no...this is meant to be official canon...
