I agree on the greatest opening scenes listing. Swordfish got me when I saw it's opening scene. I didn't know what was happening, but it shocked me when it was revealed what was going on.
Wrong wrong and wrong. Bad boys 2 was better. Just as funny, 3 times the action, production was better, supporting female actress was hotter and rewatch value is better. We probably can all agree that bad boys 3 was trash 🗑️ If you ate part 1 and part 2 and threw up, you’d have part 3🤮
@@lbedwin25 nope, disagree. Bad Boys 2 is only better action-wise, they were trying too hard comedy-wise. Comedy, story, atmosphere, rewatchability and characters all go to Bad Boys 1.
But Bad Boys 2 had Johnny Tapia “he killed himself ma” 🤣 The “marsupials” bit in the attic killed me too! “Now show’’em your badge” The shootout in the house. Just so much more. Bad Boys is still great but I gotta give it to the sequel

I’m not gone lie when you and DoBoy stopped podding together I unsubscribed feeling like things would never be the same and resenting you for something that had nothing that had to do with me. Now I have to rewatch Sister Act 1 because I remembered how much I loved that movie. I was a teenager when Sister Act 2 came out so it had a lasting impact for nostalgia.🤷🏽♀️
I just posted about Friday and the sequels. The OG Friday was like a natural day with comedic overtone and dramatic elements, but the sequels leaned too hard into the funny. Because of that, it suffered to me but they was still cool

Sister Act 1 is funnier than Sister Act 2 for sure so I get what he is saying! Them nuns are funnier than the kids...when they snuck out at night to follow her to the bar I was rolling.

Kevin hit it on the head! I am with Tony - I don't love super silly characters that are TRYING to make me laugh. The perfect example is the Friday/Next Friday comparison. I love Mike Epps - but the original Friday was a more realistic funny situation than over-the-top characters.
