1989 my father died when I was 16. 1990 I fell in love with Basketball, and of course immediately i went a bulls and Jordan fan. I followed every game, I tried to copy every Jordan move, but most of all the fade-away. This was my heeling process. When Jordan’s Dad was died I felt very bad for him, and everything came up again. I understood 100% why he had to retire to feel grip again ... and when he came back I went from a fan to a believer. He never let me down again. When he showed up, with the concords, and I saw the advertisement with the dunk hanging high at the rim, I immediately loved the shoes. But at that time as a young student I couldn’t effort them ... 7 years later I became a university champ with the university of Pforzheim. I never had the chance to get some retro release, and I never bought em I the second market. For me to get the concords means a lo, and now in the age of 46 it closes the circle basketball. I’m still hooping, movability is still be there, but only for fun ... but as Jordan said: never say never. Maybe I will come back in competition in the age of over 50. And maybe I will than play in the concords. Basketball for me will never stop. Namaste my brothers

I liked how you pick a list that wasn’t necessarily hype beast sneakers, (Off-white/350s) but I do believe Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of god collection deserves a spot light in this video! Another great video though guys keep it up!
man, I loved this year, I could only pick up the shadow 1s this year and I'm saving up for those racer pink acroynm prestos. Even if i cant buy them i still feel involved in the sneaker world. man what a year for sneakers can't wait for next year

@@Oyashio202 jordan brand is fuckin brilliant. They've prioritized collabs over the original grails and thats what's keeping them on top. Add in the one or two grails they add in per year like the black cement 3's or the concord 11's and they're back on top just like 3 years ago.
I love your videos. You guys have the perfect 5-10 minute reviews without 20 minutes of unnecessary rambling at the begining of the videos like some other reviewers. My favorite shoe of the year was either the Grape 5 Fresh Prince or the Cactus Jack 4.
2018 was a good year for 1's. We got the pine greens, court purples, the rookie of the year and the unoin collabs same with the off white. Good top 10 list , im surprised the black cement 3 didnt make it though!
@@ThruHeeYo I prefer the black toe over the bred toe personally but I will agree that it was a solid release with some great material. Definlty worth mentioning in a top 10. However, the Gold toes are nice and are on my "shoes to buy" list but I wouldn't place it as a top 10 and I cant believe we forgot to mention the shadows !!!
Ive just gotten into sneakers this year and have only been with the foamy army for about 6 months now but I have to say you have already become one of my favourite youtubers. I love the positivity and message you guys bring to the sneaker community. Buying what you guys like, wearing your shoes, introducing new and different ideas. Keep up the great work Foamy!

Definitely think adidas dropped the ball a little bit but they put out some pretty good stuff like everything that Pharrell does is awesome even the not so hyped stuff, like the Solar Hu Glides have to be one of my favorite releases of this year just for how comfortable they are and how wearable they are too and same with the Sesames that released too they go with pretty much everything and boost is always comfy. But I have to hand it to Nike they killed it this year with Wotherspoon’s and Element 87’s I can only imagine what they’re gonna do next year. Also keep up the good work my guy it would be awesome to meet you one day.

in my personal opinion the Kyrie 4 was the best show in sneakers for most of 2018 (even though they came out in 2017) The amount of colourways and PEs they made put the Kyrie 4 in a class of its own.
This ain't a all-time list. The witherspoon is the best shoe this year. It draws more attention then anything else out there and everyone wanted them. The concord.....well Nike sold a million of em and will always be a classic

My favorite sneaker was definitely the concord 11s but I don’t have a pair. They are probably the greatest Jordan’s of all time. They have the biggest history and they look amazing.

davidriggs87 😂 ACTUALLY they originally released in 2017 but they actually just dropped again on November 16th. Thats like saying the Concords only released in 2011 🤔 nothing like somebody trying to correct you being wrong themselves 🤦♂️

I've never seen a RU-vidr who supports Jordan 11's like you, really appreciate that. I know others will not agree with me, but personally, I could only pick Jordan 11 concord and Jordan 13 He got game as the best release 2018. Back in 2013, those are so expensive that I couldn't afford as a high school student, a huge thanks to Nike!
