I will never understood the love of coke. If you taste it, its like drinking splenda with water. Where as pepsi has a refreshing taste and isn't overkill with its sweetness.

I know what Splenda tastes like, and I literally get sick when I eat/drink anything using the stuff. I don't think Coke tastes like Splenda, but I can taste the Corn Syrup used in US made Coke, and I hate the taste. The "Mexican" Coke, made with real sugar tastes great though.

I really miss Fanta Red Cream Soda but I now see that Barq's has their own version! While I was watching a batch of old movie snack bar promos I saw this super cool 1950s Orange Crush fountain in one of the concession stand presentations! Squirt became a favorite of mine in more recent years until I read the label and found it pretty much had no nutritional values in it! Haha!

Fanta used to be good here in Australia for me until something happened which is likely a ingredient change that happened :( I would drink Mountain Dew but here the drink has caffeine and is energised but I would love to drink a caffeine free one. I think I used to like sunkist too but I don’t now really. I don’t like root beer or ginger ale beer either. I haven’t tried Dr Pepper or Schweppes lemonade. Other than that, I like virtually all sodas.

According to wikipedia, 2021 was when they discontinued the caffeine free version of mountain dew. Shame, because I actually enjoyed it but hated the caffeine content hitting me the next night with lack of sleep and crashing

My favourite is Pepsi Max but I like almost all sodas (normal flavours). Some I've never had such as Mountain ~Dew and Crush. Although there's one I used to have called TNT that I really liked. Did anyone ever have that?

Pepsi at #5? I might be a Coke guy myself, but that's an insult. At worst, it should be #3. At worst. They actually beat Coke in two memorable marketing campaigns. "The nickel drink worth a dime" and on the flipside the biggest marketing gaffe EVER: "New Coke" (made to taste more like Pepsi) was a direct consequence of "The Pepsi Challenge" campaign. Blander, sweeter, flatter, but it should still be #3 at worst.

Whole heartedly agree. The top 3 should've been Coke, Pepsi, and Mountain Dew just from iconic status alone. Sprite at No. 4 I could see. Dr. Pepper at 5, maybe (from personal taste it wouldn't make the top 30, but it is an iconic drink).
