My season 4 opinions are constantly changing tbh because it's all so fresh still, but this is where I’m currently at… Also, last chance to vote for your favourite CXG songs if you haven’t already here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/R2RBTN8 Voting will close on Saturday!
Please do top songs that deserved a reprise but didn't get one or most hard to sing-along (I'm new to your channel, sorry if you already did that). Ps. You're awesome
I love “Anti-Depressants” so much because I felt so seen and acknowledged when I heard my generic listed. I had only been on my meds for about a year so I was still grappling with the stigma, but this song really helped me adjust and normalize it for me. Also, it’s just a great song and Michael Hyatt is a whole blessing to this show wow I love her
The only bad thing about “love’s not a game” is that they waited until the like third to last song to show off whijo’s sexy sexy voice (Not including fit hot guys because he shares most of the song with Nathaniel)
Slow Motion is totally underrated! Absolutely hilarious. Trapped In A Car is catchy and funny too! I always never believed in you is really underrated Love's Not A Game has some of the finest choreography and lyrics But ANTI DEPRESSANTS IS THE BEST
anti depressents is 1st in my opinion bc 1) catchy ass song 2) amazing choreography 3) tackles an important issue 4) important turning point for Rebecca 5) did I mention that it's really catchy
I literally started anti-depressants the same week that that episode came out and I needed it so much! The timing could not have been better. After years of putting it off, I finally gave in and got help and then days later the anti-depressants episode aired. This show means more to me than any other show ever has.
Season 4 wasn’t my favorite for songs but personally #1 for me is don’t be a lawyer just because of how out of nowhere it was and how much it made me laugh. Also I really love real life fighting is awkward!!
Nadine K I think it's the character cause he's confused about who she bets on: when she says "it's greg" he nods like ah okay that's what she's talking about
From 1 to 5 I completely agree, for 6 to 10 I would have chosen other songs like Child Star (amazingly written and performed), Cringe, What Will It Be reprise, I'm Not Sad You're Sad, I'm Almost Always Never Believed In You - but that just made me realize how many good songs are in season 4!
I'd go with Love's Not a Game and Don't Be a Lawyer (arguably the "best" of the season) for the top two and, although I love Eleven O Clock, I don't really count it because it's mostly a medley. I Always Never Believed in You is my underdog choice, and I'd swap that and I Hate Everything But You in and demote out What You Missed When You Were Popular and Sports Analogies.
Great list! Season 4 had some really good songs even though not as many as other seasons. Its kinda weird how much I love listening to antidepressants are not a big deal yet I still am scared to go back on them.
@@lindseycassella3015 That sounds like an anti-anti depressant, but yeah, I can't say anything. I've never take meds taking effect on the nervous system.
Okay, but... Don't be a Lawyer deserved a higher place. And Antidepressants is probably the best song of the season, I'd put Eleven O'Clock in second. But nice video.
I don't hate it, but I don't like anything about it either: lyrics, music, or number. My friend, on the other hand, likes it because it resonates with her past issues. I think it's kinda like why "You Stupid Bitch" is a big hit (although that one is a lot funnier than "The Darkness").
See I like Love's not a game but it's never been anywhere near the top for me? The dancing is really fun, whiJo getting a song is great but it's just not that appealing to me musically as song?
I feel like this is actually an unppular opinin (not like when people say unpopular opinion and then just say what everybody's thinking) so I'm really sorry: I really don't like 11 o' clock. I like the original parts, but the part with all the reprises just really doesn't resonate with me. It felt forced and awkward. I feel like this was a problem all through I had with season 4: I feel like the creators really relied on showing character development through reprises, and I just didn't really like it. God, sorry, I just reallly needed to get that out, and I don't know anyone who watches the show, so I just made you people my audience
i really loved the idea and vibe of 11 o clock but thought that the transitions between songs weren't particularly smooth. i wanted to like it a lot more than i did
