So basically Arthas dropped his hammer, picked up frostmourne and defeated Illidan without even leveling up his two handed sword skill? Doesn't get more OP than that.

Honorable mention to Trag Highmountain, he resisted LK's whispers to kill others when he was on his way to Icecrown.

I was so excited when we brought Nazgrim back. He was one of my favorite characters. I am a huge fan of the Orcs and lore. And I really loved that he was raised as such a strong knight. I even took screenshots of his crazy feats in the campaign lol.

As soimeone that played a DK for a decade, I feel the correct list is the following. Admittedly 6-8 are pretty even and could be interchangeable, rest have a fair bit of lore supporting said claim. 1. Arthas Menathil 2. Bolvar Fordragon 3. Darian Morgraine 4. Teron Gorefiend 5. Baron Rivendare 6. General Nazgrim 7. Sally Whitemane 8. Thoras Trollbane 9. Thassarian 10. Koltira Deathweave

I like the fact that we defeated Arthas only by sheer luck.. Had the Light not intervened we would've all been his Death Knights

Bolvar should not be included in this ranking. The guy was sitting on the frosty toilet all the time and guarded the remains of the powerful force that was the Scourge . Why didn't you mention Thassarian or Koltira ? These two guys are much more better Death Knights than bolvar.

Please have a video on the most powerful elves. Top 10 most powerful elves, priestess Tyrande and High Ranger General Sylvanas. And include the tragic parts to their roles now. Sylvanas story still makes me feel her pain and why she is who she is.

Number 2 should be the DK Player because he/she has the plot armor, not even the Jailer can compite with that and that's why the "Four horsemen" will work this time. P.S. Forget what I just said if the DK Player is a Gnome a Pandaren or another Vermin race.

Since Arthas is no longer in current lore i'd put Darion at the top of the list followed by Bolvar. All Bolvar has really done is keep the undead in check while wearing the helm. Darion is far more experienced as a DK

10. It could be argued that Arthas raised them for their loyalty and not necessarily for their powers. True once you are raised as a DK you are under the LK command and have to obey but we have seen later on that you can break free from deaths grasp. Look at the Forsaken as well as the numerous DK's created during Bolvar's reign as LK. 7. Teron was really more than a DK. Sure he was the first but he was not your typical DK that you see today. Today you have DK's that have their abilities augmented from what they were in their mortal state. Teron still used all his abilities from when he was a alive Fel/Shadow/Elemental and now a DK with necromatic powers. He was created by Gul'dan and not Arthas/Kel'thuzad. He was never a slave to any master like the other DK's were that eventually broke free of the LK's power. I would have put him as #1. 2. Not sure you can really claim Bolvar as a DK since he never died and is not dead. Serving Arthas is not a requisite to being a DK as we can see with the original Four Horsemen who were created by Kel'thuzad and Teron who was created by Gul'dan. What powers does Bolvar have without the helm though? If anything he should still retain his holy powers but what necromatic powers does he possess? 1. Arthas never used any of his paladin powers as a DK which is interesting since we have seen other DK's still able to wield the light as a DK. I thought Arthas was not as powerful as he could have been when he defeated Illidan. He was still weak and had not yet been encased in the block of ice to reach his true potential. If you are going to claim Illidan was not as strong then you have to also point out the fact that Arthas was not at his true LK form either. Being the Lich King means you are the leader of the DK's.

What I learned from this video is that if you're a follower of the light (priest paladin) your chances of becoming a death knight are greatly improved :)

I would say that Trag Highmountain is a pretty underrated Death Knight. He got raised into undeath by the Orb of Ner'zhul, fought off Arthas' whispers, fought Thrall (although Thrall could have killed him if he wanted to), struck a massive blow against Arthas himself before being launched from the top of Icecrown Citadel and surviving. Not the strongest Death Knight out there, not the most well known one, either, but a noteworthy one none the less.

What about those like Thassarian or Kotira for example? 🙂 Imo Thassarian could be in top 10

I think it was too early still to judge Bolvar´s power level, just because he survived the blight he only did it by being burned with Alexxtrasas magic fire (or whatever it was) that kept him alive.

The Scourge was more of a threat than Sargeras. Sure Sargeras is a colossal Titan with cosmic abilities but we have powers to counter that. As is made apparent. What we can't repel is countless bodies of resurrected allies relentlessly attacking.

None of the Horseman Death Knights participated in the Battle for the Broken Shore, as they were all raised during the Death Knight Order Hall Campaign, which happened after that battle.

I am surprised none of these were named Hugedk. It seems to be a common name among death knights

well with Alexandros, he still had the power of the Light even as a Death Knight. so that should kinda reduce his rank as a Death Knight cause, well, no Death Kight's use holy magic edit: i have been searching for the music at 11:00 for too long now and I cannot find it. and the fact that i know i've heard it before and i still cannot find it frustrates me immensely edit 2: I have found the music and feel like a moron for not realizing it is from the WoW soundtrack.

Sylvanas Windrunner i think she is a death knight some people say banshee but where is the difference . Death Knights have her soul and a death body Sylvanas have a death body and her soul is a ghost in a death body .Souls are spirits/ghosts so there is no difference and she is the strongest now ^^

The Legion-era player Death Knight should probably be on this list. Commander over the Legion-era Four Horsemen, fought through an army of paladins, massacred hundreds of demons, battled across a frozen island full of hostile undead on their own, (possibly) slaughtered a ton of red dragonkin single-handed, (maybe) fought a Titan, and a ton of other things. Rank 4 or 5, I'd say.

If Teron Gorefiend isn't at the top of this list...then I disagree with the list. Though I will say the Wacraft 2 death knights or "first generation death knights" were more squishy casters than heavy warrior/necromancers. I also never liked Warlords of Draenor retconning Gorefiends name to "Teron'gor" it was dumb. Just my take.

11:36 Darion stepped down as the Highlord of the Ebon Blade? When did that happen? I don't remember that. He still has his Highlord title. The Death Lord still reports to him. He still leads the armies of the Ebon Blade into both Icecrown and the Shadowlands.. Just because he's the leader of the Four Horsemen doesn't mean he still isn't the leader of the entire company.
