So previously I've done top 10 lists on the death knights, paladins, mages and warriors and this time I decided to do the same for the hunters.
Hunters are a very unique class as they are a very vague term. Many different classes and subclasses are bunched up as hunters from riflemen, to rangers, to beastmasters and actual hunters. However, all of them are ultimately considered hunters.
We have powerful rangers from Lor'themar Theron to Alleria and Shandris Feathermoon up to riflemen such as Hemet Nesingwary and even beastmasters such as Rexxar. Hunters thus far have actually played quite an important role in the warcraft lore and surprisingly are actually some of the most powerful characters that we do have. So here is my list of the top 10 strongest characters in World of Warcraft.

Aye she is a kind of hybrid class, priest would be her main role but she would very likely be more capable then some of the lower hunters on this list. 15,000 years of experience and mastery of weapons is nothing to sneeze at.

Priestesses of Elune are different, they use bows, glaives, wear plate and they fight in battles. And they're empowered by Elune instead of the Holy Light.

Good list, although I woulda swapped Shandris over Nathanos. Not only is she considerably more seasoned, her in-game character can perform moonbeams in addition to her prowess with a bow.

Skills with the bow, Alleria is better. OP plot armour magic that can defeat everything in existence, Sylvanas has a slightly more powerful one, but Alleria's void is pretty BS powerful too.

Tyrande has always been classified as the High Priestess of Elune, so even if she's a master with bows, she cannot be called a hunter

@@JZR90 I don't agree tbh. A lot of characters on the list have different powers, so the logic isn't consequential with her not being on the list. Also tyrande definitely *can* be classified as a hunter. She literally has hunter skills in wc3 and HoT. (Trueshot-aura for example)

@@Anthony-eo3ro problem with that list is a blizzard problem, most hunter in warcraft lore nowadays are magical bullshit hunter. Rexxar, Nathanos and Shandris are the best "pure" hunter Edit: but if we count Sylvanas and Alleria before they had magic, they would join the other too

Blood elves may not be plentiful, and are slowly but surely repopulating, but they do have quality over quantity. Otherwise the leader of the most numerous race, or another racial leader if based in the capital with abundant troops, should lead the Horde.

heey man! i love your video's, but at the end you maybe made a mistake. you said she overpowerd Bolvar cause she is empowerd by the Jailer. well also like you know, she was already empowered by him when she killed saurfang. Um you're incorrect, Dark Rangers are a subset of hunters, they are hunters that are 1. Undead 2. Use Death Magic aswell. Also, go to the Hunter Class Halls, there's Dark Rangers there. Also, even before she was a Dark Ranger, Sylvanas was one of the most if not the most acomplished hunter with Alleria.

my favorite ranger is Lor’Themar i get why shandris is above Lor’Themar but I don’t get why Nathanos is above both Lor’Themar and Shandris both of them are elfes they lived a longer then Nathanos and have more experience than him my opinion in my opinion shandris is Number4 Lor’Themar is Number5 and Nathanos is Number6 again my opinion

You said Lor'themar was second in command to Sylvanas, but wasn't Nathanos Ranger Lord at the time?

There can be more then one Ranger-Lord if I remember right. There was a quest where in classic you go and collect a registry book in EPL which contained the names of every Ranger-Lord which was held BY a Ranger-Lord Hawkspear. Ranger-Lord is equivalent I think to like a 2 or a 3 star General in US military terms, where a 4 star or 5 star general would be the Ranger-General. But I could be wrong.

@@Crownsnek Lor’themar was canonically Sylvanas’ second-in-command, the most highly ranked Ranger Lord, which is why he was made Regent Lord as the most highly ranking person left in QT after the Third War (beneath Kael). Nathanos was extremely proficient and also a Ranger Lord though was more of a disciple of Sylvanas- source is Wowpedia for both characters.

I actually thought that Rexxar was a bit too high on the board. Being able to survive on own, doesn't really prove that much. I think experience in combat plays a far larger role and all of the elves, Shandris especially, has more experience than Rexxar could ever hope to get, before he dies of old age. Sure, he is large and strong and has a great affinity for combining his strength with beasts. But these are hunters, not warriors. They rely more on agility, speed, tactics and weaponry, than on brute force.

He is blind in his other eye. I believe it was from when he was captured by the Amani trolls but I could be remembering wrong. That's why he has the scar
