Me too....sadly....I only have 2 friends and both of them r the type where when they have a friend , they brag too much causing me to handle their problems rather than mine....I still like my friends tho
*always study alone. I know it sounds greedy but please it will make you focused more. If you have like a study group, don't bring your phone. Trust me. My experience was that all of my friends brought their phones and ended up being a photoshoot session*
I put a little twist on my own, I usually pick a person that I'm not as close as my friends but I'm still comfortable to be with. This reduces the chances of getting of the track and it's a great way to Branch out and make new friends I guess?

Find a study technique that works for YOU and aligns with YOUR working style. For example, I really love animedoro as I'm the type of person who likes to study hard and play harder (if you didn't know, animedoro is a studying style where you study for 40-60 minutes and watch 1 episode of anime/rest). But you might be the kind of person that has a short attention span, or maybe your definition of 'break' is watching a few tiktoks, which makes Pomodoro the best style for you. Once you figure out what works, you won't need pretty handwriting or perfect organization.

The easiest way (for me) to write notes *actively* when I’m home is by going over my textbook/lecture slides and writing down every single question I have. It can be something really complex or something like “what the heck does a mitochondria do”. This helps you know what you don’t know or just don’t fully understand. Once you have those questions down, you’ll probably be able to answer them with the slides your just read (or else why would you right the question down in the first place ya know). This makes it easier to feel like you’re in control when writing your notes. Of course this is difficult if you need to turn your notes in, but if you’re only doing it for yourself, you should be doing whatever’s easiest to you. Are you more of a visual learner? Use a mind map or a tree note taking method. Use pictures and graphs. If writing/highlighting on the line doesn’t help you retain information, then why do it? Keep in mind that you should write the questions on a note pad, then answer those questions in details that help you when writing the notes down
i like studying in segments. if i study it all at one time i find i forget a lot of stuff and by the next day i've forgotten a lot of it :( so i usually study at the beginning of my study session and then the night before the test and a little the next day in the morning if i can.

I'm about to finish school for real (the next semester is my last and I will finally graduate omg cries), these are the best study tips I've had aside from yours hehe. 1. Pace yourself. All nighters are normal but when it comes to the point that you do not understand anything anymore, take a rest! It's okay! 2. Read in advance especially when you have huge exams! There is actually an advantage in preparing too much than cramming. 3. Cramming can be inevitable but this is where you should study part. Pay more attention to areas you understand the least. 4. Turn off or put away any distractions. This is the best thing that helped me survive!

(Check the wrong answers that u got on tests and quizzes or comments on papers that you've written). 7. 1:45- Make a study guide. (With a study guide, you'll be looking over all of the material and u indentify what's important). 6. 2:12- Use flashcards. (recommend only for vocabulary words). 5. 2:37- Spaced repetition. (In order to reset the curves of forgetting to cement the information into ur long-term memory, you'll want to study the information at certain intervals). 4. 3:13- Use practice quizzes. 3. 3:41- Write ur own practice quizzes. 2. 4:06- Do practics quizzes with ur friends. 1. 4:43- Teach other people. I'm actually always got inspired by these kind of videos. Whenever I tried to take a pretty notes, they all are ended up with a messy things. Well I guess I don't have such a skill that can make a simple things continued. So , I really amazed by all of them that can make such a beautiful notes

This really works, I get more work done this way because I know it's not for a long period, so I try to get as much do in that 30 minutes! Thank you I always learn something from your videos!
I’m watching a lot of these videos because I’m starting highschool in like 2 weeks, but its gunna be really different since I got into a highschool that does college at the same time so yeah :) I’m trying my best to not get overwhelmed over it- my only goals for the next 4 years are to 1) stay as organized as possible 2) make straight As *mainly for my parents but oh well* and 3) try to learn at least one new skill. So far these tips and stuff seem super helpful and I can’t wait to try them out :D

As a sophomore right now, it really depends on the types of class you take. At my school, we have pre-AP and AP classes. Generally, pre-AP classes have more outside of class learning, such as reading and comprehending chapters of books, and class time is most likely dedicated to expanding on certain topics and summative assignments, which is meant to prepare you for the college level class. It also changes if you have extracurriculars after school. It's about finding a good balance for you and deciding if you really wanna dedicate your time to a certain subject :)
Also, I probably had around 3 hours of homework last year: reading a 20-40 page chapter every two weeks, geometry, studying for chemistry (which I struggled with), and English homework, including memorizing for theatre classes.
im in 9th grade and 9th grade is the hardest, I swear! teachers are so strict and you kinda adjusting from cool teachers to strict one and from hard homeworks to a really hard one ugh

I really recommend Quizlet Live when your practicing within a group of friends and regular Quizlet to use flashcards, and learn effectively you can even play games. And it’s not as laggy as Kahoot.
i think writing in a very aesthetic way may not be easy to read since you may focus on the fonts or designs altough it is very apealing to look at but i do suggest remembering your notes more than thr highlights, fonts etc.

1:34 might not work for everyone because in some countries (or at least in mine) they keep tests and papers archived as documents and do not give them to the students, as an alternative look up tests online and try doing the exercises at the end of chapters (with a timer)
just realized now that the studying technique of teaching others is what I've been doing with a friend before quizzes, me being the one to teach her and do rapid fire questions to throw her off guard 😅 Thanks for making this video (even tho I'm like 5 years behind-) Ill be testing out the other methods I'm unfamiliar before school starts to try and nick-pick which one produces the most results but at the same time not taking too much of my energy. Wasn't really the type to study 'til the situation called for it 😮💨
