To keep myself motivated I draw worms in MS Paint where the sections of the worms are tasks that I have to do, and as I complete tasks I color in the worm
I just started summer break and literally CANNOT wait to get back to school.. I'm going into my Sophmore year at HS, and I romanticize learning and working SO MUCH that I'm kind of really looking forward to getting back to it. I love taking notes and being prepared for everything and I want to be sure that I can start Sophmore year STRONG and keep it that way all year. I love your videos and they are so inspiring!?

Quick tip, of you guys want to stay more organized for this coming school year DEFINETLY invest in a portfolio. It helped me so much with making user all of my papers weren't jumbled up at the bottom of my backpack and helped me make sure to have my assignments ready to turn in. Just remember to check it everyday so you don't forget to do something 😅
@@L-bee You should be at least in your late 30s is you want to teach high school. I don't think it's nessecary for someone that was 6 years old when you were born to be your teacher. Just another reason for young people to feel so in charge of the world, and I didn't come here to fight so just quit it.
@@Faith63423 i'm in highschool (in france) and the youngest teacher i had was 25, i don't see the issue. In middle school i had older teachers (40s to 60s), but we didn't feel connected to them. In highschool we kinda need that closure sometimes to better understand their subject. Like in french class, our teacher (which was 25) had way more modern litterature to show us than an older teacher. But it depends, i had an history teacher in his 50s, he was way more interesting than the younger teacher (late 20). I'm not fighting i'm just trying to understand your way of thinking, as a highschooler.

I don't study for my tests regardless because it stresses me out and I end up overthinking even the smallest things. So I put extra effort into my school work and assignments. I also have a little pop quiz with my friends to get my brain working.
Like i go to sleeping at 8 waking up at 6 then the next day sleeping at 9 waking up at 7 then sleeping at 10 then waking up on 8 then 11 waking at 9 then 12 waking up on 1 yes 1 oclock in the afternoon

But then again, I tell myself, this will probably be the last summer you have as free and reckless, the rest I'll get busy with life. There's so much time, just relax for now. You're young and free. for anyone whos school is completely online this year/is choosing to stay home- reach out to your teachers! And do it early! Within the first week of school, write some emails to your teachers in order to connect with them and they’re more likely to remember you/you’ll have a better relationship with them throughout the year (especially if youve never had a class w them before). Tell them about what you want to work on throughout the year and what you’re excited for! Most teachers will appreciate being able to get to know their students in order to make the most out of online teaching for their students. Good Luck!

I'm starting school in one week. The teachers haven't told us any of our schedules, teachers, classes, etc. We don't get any of that until the first day, sadly. Edit: so I discovered that we are doing virtual school now. It starts on Monday. The school still hasn’t given us our schedules. Edit 2: SOOOOO Apparently we are going back to regular school on September 28th! Hurrah, but also...no more waking up at 9:00 :(

@@peopleseditz I start school in 2 months ( September) and I've been sleeping at earliest 3:50 a.m and latest 5:50 a.m. I also have to be at school by 7:30 am and get ready by 5:50 a.m. most of the time. Sometimes 6 a.m. So I basically go to school on 0-2 hours of sleep😭 I really need a new sleep schedule. Rn for me its 3:33 a.m. 😕

Honestly if I were you I would just force myself to stay up at 5 and kinda "pull an all nighter" so you'll be tired enough to fall asleep at like 7 or 8 pm
I'm going to 8th grade this year and, this helped me a lot, because I like to stay up for long times like 1am now I'm going to bed at 10pm and waking up at least 6am and, I'm not as tired as I was by forcing myself to get up last year, ty so much!

Am I the only one who isn’t excited at all. Like in previous years I was excited to learn and see my friends but I’m going into junior year distance learning so I’m gonna have a lot on my plate and I won’t see my friends
We have to go back to school physically and full time. I’m usually excited but I’m dreading it this year, it’s my last year (yr13), we’re losing some of the fun things we get to do in the last year and I’m chronically ill and so stressed about getting covid. Sending hugs!
definitely not just you. i go to a k-8 and ive gone there since i was little and i was so exited to be a "big kid" and be the oldest in the school and now its my last year and i cant go to any dances, activities, my school's new york trip, and i might not even to be able to actually graduate. I have no motivation at all
