Actually, Doc Oct mentioned in the film that he was in the process of choking Spider-Man in his grip before he was teleported to the MCU which was right before Toby’s Peter convinced him to become good again and destroy his machine so when he’s teleported back to his world he’ll probably destroy it without killing himself in the process which he did out of guilt for what he’s done.

My thoughts exactly. And even more plausible, Norman Osborn will be sent back to before he tries to kill Peter with his glider. Thus, Harry won't resent Peter through Spider-man, and they both may remain roommates. And this could result in many different outcomes for that Spideyverse.

8:45 didnt Ock say he had Peter by the throat when he got swept away in the other UNiverse? So he hadnt decided to sacrifice himself for the core yet, so he was still villainous. If he got back to his timeline, that means he got back to having Peter at his mercy before he had a change of heart and sacrificed himself. Now because he did change, he may have done the same thing but maybe he was able to save himself and destroy the core. Electro was taking in all that data when he got swept away, he wasnt fighting Spiderman yet in their last fight was he? So he wouldve had time to go back to his time and stop himself too. The only way Osborne would get killed again back in his timeline would be that he purposely used his glider to try and kill Spiderman, but when he got back to his time, he didnt have the Goblin anymore so he wouldnt have commanded the glider so probably wouldnt have died.
@ArgonTheAware

Goblin returns before he triggers his glider and likely goes to prison. Doc Ock seemingly returns w/ the arc reactor, meaning he now has “the power of the sun in the palm of his hand” and likely has more time to devise a solution. Electro returns as Max Dillon, meaning he no longer had control of the power grid; Harry’s still on route to kill Spider-Man, but he could warn Gwen to leave. Regarding the cured Spider-Man villains, I think what happens is, them being cured gives them the knowledge to avoid their ends. Norman will find himself in the position Goblin was just before sending his glider to impale Spider-Man, so when Peter says "I had a father. His name was Ben Parker" Norman will just ease up and nod, before either trying to explain the situation or using one of the bombs Goblin unintentionally left him to cause a diversion and escape until Peter's willing to listen. Doc Oc, now with a fully sound minx and not having to also fight back his Oc arms' AI, could figure out how to pull down his machine without needing to be so close. Sandman... didn't die at all, so could just go on his way. As for Electro and Lizard... they'll just reappear in their world as normal people, so won't die. Simple.

10.) Tony is known to act erratically when his friends are hurt or in danger. Like when Vision shot War Machine in Civil War. And Iron Man blasts Flacon without a second thought. 9.) It would defeat the purpose of solo films. And it is usually explained later on, like Thor and Hulk being in space. 8.) Yes Peter did give the glasses permission to listen to Mysterio. But never once did Peter or Mysterio tell the glasses to completely disregard Peters control over them 7.) The book is technically heavily guarded. Also the Ancient One could've known it would be stolen and that Strange would save the day. The same way Strange new letting thanos have the Time Stone would eventually lead to his demise. 6.) The implant sends shocks to your nervous system overriding it. That is completely different than thor manipulating lightening. 5.) Tony did try to retire as Iron Man. But he has to return as threats keep arriving. In infinity war he even states the nano tech is just in case a bad guy shows up. Part of his tragedy is that he is Iron Man. Even if he doesn't want to be. 4.) They will return and no longer attempt to kill Spiderman. Leading to them surviving as Spiderman from their universe will realize they are good now. 3.) The drones wouldn't have been able to kill the beast. Seeing as how they couldn't even kill the 1 guardian ship they were chasing . 2.) That happens when you have multiple writers and directors over 20+ movies 1.) Thanos gave Loki the mind stone because he knew he could easily get it back. He was busy conquering worlds and eventually decides he will have to do it himself after Loki fails

I think that when the villains returned to their own universes, they aren’t exactly returned to the point where they got transported to the mcu universe, which is in the moment where they’re going to die. The fight happens in the statue of liberty, and they all got sent back in the statue of liberty too. What if when they returned back, they’re actually still in the statue of liberty, but the version of their own universes. It’s kind of like when we saw eddie and venom got transported from their universe to the mcu one while they are in a room. But when they got transported, they are actually in someone else’s house because they are not in their own universe. So when they returned, they didn’t actually returned to the point where they are about to die. They are still in the statue of liberty, but their own universes version of the statue of liberty.

Actually its thanos fault. Just hear me out. Thanos orders the attack on earth, which prompted someone rogue in shield to fire a missile to the city. This prompted Tony to redirect the missile back to wherever the chitauri was from which causes Tony to have PTSD. To rid his PTSD, he thought the way to expand the avengers is to create the ultron sentry to help them win battles. The results backfire when the ultron sentry went rogue. So yes Tony built the ultron sentry that went crazy, Tony is the victim psychologically. So everything that happened pretty much the 1st part of mcu was thanos fault

The thing that still confuses me with "No Way Home"? The timelines. When the villians are pulled to the MCU Universe, are they taken from the exact same universes we the audience saw in their own movies, or similar universes were the only difference was they got pulled into the MCU? Like is the Norman and Otto who appeared in No Way Home from the same universe, let alone the universe we saw from the Rami Trilogy since they died anyway? Cause with Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Men, they still experienced everything that happened in their movies. So I just wonder where the villians side stand exactly. And also would sending the cured villians back effectively change Tobey and Andrew's timeline, like would Norman and Otto say still be alive? Or despite it being magic and not science, where still going by "Endgame rules" where changing the past doesn't change the future? I'm sorry, I know I'm rambling it's just the movie nor did the director explain the rules exactly with this, so I'm just so confused 😅

Now that He Who Remains isn't running things with the TVA, each villain returning to the moment they died will create new branching timelines without interfering with the Raimi timeline. Like Loki getting the tesseract in 2012.

The entire movie doesn't make any sense and is just nostalgia bait. It has horrible pacing, the villains have either the shittiest motivations (electro) or no motivations at all (sandman) and the entire timeline is just googabalooga "it's magic, trust me bro" clusterfuckery. I'm honestly dissapointed people rate it like it's a masterpiece, it's not even the best spiderman movie to come out this decade. You have 2 good scenes with andrew garfield and some nostalgia porn and that's all you need to bedazzle mcu fans these days, apparently. I wish they would have stopped at endgame, all that has come out since is boring, formulaic, kiddy weak sauce.
@BoaDaSnakeMan
@BoaDaSnakeMan 2 года назад
Both Spiderman (Tobey and Andrew) are taken from the future of the respective universes. So after the events of SM3 and TASM2. The Villains are all taken from their respective universes as well from the films they starred in, however since they didn't die they are considered an alternate timeline of events. If you watched Loki you'd understand that within a universe is the MAIN timeline with a branch reality of other small timelines that curve up or down. When the Villains are sent back, they are sent back to the moment in which they were taken from. This means Green Goblin is dead in Otto's Universe still even though Otto is alive, and for Sandman and Peter (Tobey) they are both still dead(Otto and Norman) the only difference is Marko is no longer sandman, though if Green Goblin didn't die, it would change the outcome of the entire timeline pretty much, it's not the MAIN timeline but an entire alternative timeline where because Goblin lived, the events of Doc Ocks death in Green Goblin's new timeline can be avoided with the extreme measurements (possibly anyway). For the TASM the only thing that would change would be the death of Electro, he would go back to living his life probably at a different company, with his powers cured his death would never happen pretty much..
@ShaffersWafers
@ShaffersWafers 2 года назад
It'll always be endgame rules. From what I've heard and seen subtle clues from the movie it looks like the Villains are taken from the moment they learn spidermans identity. Otto finds out just as he has peter by the throat so when he returns he also has an Arc reactor and a clear mind with a few minutes with Peter. Osborne learns about Peter at the dinner with may so he'll return there and be able to have a normal life. Lizard was found in the sewers just like when he learns about Peter from Peter's camera in the sewers. Electro heard Gwen shout Peter's name in the grid and Sandman learned at the end of Spiderman 3 so all those 3 should be fine in the end as well

Thor weakness to electricity can easely be explain with a simple real world nature fact: electric eel do electrocute themself when using their electricity. In the same logic it's not because Thor can summon electricity that he's immune to electricity. *plus there's differents types of electrical current so he might be immune to his own lightning (as we see him been struck by it without harm) but not all form of electricity.

The team thing isn't hard to explain. Thor The Dark World mostly took place on Asgard. No other Avenger even knows how to get there. Even when he's on Earth, the fight didn't last that long. There was no time for Cap to get to London and yeah, Thor handled it. As for the Defenders, they aren't really part of the MCU. Even the versions we are going to get are not the same versions we saw on Netflix. Any vague mention of the Avengers in the Netflix shows was not approved or even acknowledged by Kevin Feige.

The thing is with the "No Way Home" predicament of sending home the villians, the only one who seems to be screwed is Otto. Norman and Max got the killed due to their powers, Norman because of his Goblin half, and Max with his overload. So ya, curing them seemed to have saved them. Conners and Flint don't die so that doesn't really change. But Otto is screwed cause of two reasons. Cause A: he was able to regain control of the limbs and still died. And more importantly B: he was taken from the moment when his machine was already on. So unless the sun hasn't expanded too much yet, he'll still have to sacrifice himself to drown it.

#1 - Thanos willingly gives the mind stone to Loki. ^ But this did make sense, and is directly related to why Thanos won. In fact it's the ..... *Best evil plan ever.* Thanos has the mind stone *before* Loki, before Avengers 1. His plan was to have Loki conquer earth (for him) - knowing that this would give him ultimately control of space, mind and time stones. Thanos could not come out in the open with Odin & the Asgardians ready to stop him. (The Avengers weren’t even a concern at the time, and Captain Marvel is no threat to his entire empire of conquered worlds. The Kree were afraid of Thanos - not Carol Danvers, per Guardians of the Galaxy) Also Thanos didn’t know where the soul stone was. No one knew Thanos plans other than Gamora and Nebula. Thanos planned his attack *only after* Loki caused the Ragnorok - removing Odin, the only hero certainly more powerful than Thanos. So when you see Loki give Thanos the space stone at the beginning of Infinity War - and then Thanos make a blitz for the other stones that’s the end result of a brilliant scheme. *That’s why Thanos won.* Name another SuperVillain in Cinema who actually pulls off such an ingenious plan. You can’t. (Good luck fixing - broken - Palpatine - Sauron, and worst of all, brain damaged DarkSeid, from their Universe/stories.) And yes of course a lot of this had to be retconned. Even Feige doesn’t plan that thoroughly in advance. But gosh that’s good writing, as Infinity War makes Avengers 1, make more sense.

10. Ironman have always been reckless and arrogant, building a suit of armor instead of complying and wait for help, calling off the most profitable part of his company, announcing himself as the man in the suit, going racing with minimal experience, etc. 9. Superhero have one thing in common, arrogance. Until things go out of control, they are mostly unwilling to call for help 8. AI tech as we know still not sophisticated enough to handle many task. As Peter relinquish control of the glasses, it's more likely the system simply added another user, while not deleting the previous one. Or Stark trust Peter so much that left a back door for Peter whenever he resumes command. 7. the ancient one can see the future till her death, knew that Strange is the best of the sorcerer supreme way back. Normally the book will be in the vicinity and line of sight of the one guarding the library, but likely the ancient one put the book precisely so they can find it leading to Strange with enough power to truly be the sorcerer supreme. (endless times facing off Dormammu thanks to time stone) 6. Take One Piece, logia allow people to become the element and paranormal give people abilities to create energy or particles and so on. Ability to create lightning does not mean immunity. Person capable of spiting doesn't mean injecting the spit back into the veins will not cause trouble. 5. Ironman only scale/ cut down his hero life, does not mean he quits. Start of AOU, they try to recover the scepter which was lost while Stark still an avenger. Then created Ultron so he can retire. Backfires leading him to feel guilty and in full support of the registration act. With all the dangers around him, he makes the minimal amount of suits to protect himself and his family. 4. Villains were transported more time before their death. With tech provided, they could come good and when they return, will not continue their wrong doing that lead to their death. 3. No tech to detect enemy? and unleashing the fleet with cause more collateral. If hire gun fail, no pay and no consequences, the drones will handle the rest. Better than dealing collateral damage and replacing drones. However, the betrayal of others could harm reputations for the planet. 2. So things that was simply retcon count as not making sense. Regular viewer would not notice, enthusiast will know of the retcon, hardcore fans will likely see it as different multiverse, which could come true in the future. 1. as power goes, having two stones will be the strongest in the known universe (at the time). Thanos will not care since he can have the scepter back whenever he want, and Loki at the time does not know of the stone. Having Loki to go secure the space stone will give him two stones, even if fail, which they did, he will still have knowledge of location of the scepter. Another reason would be Thanos wanted all 6 stones in one swop to minimalize chance of failure and the soul stone location would be the final one he learned of, and in turn began his operation.

It doesn't show sparks or anything of the kind to signify electricity, it could have been some kind of pulse signal that affects biological functions, same with the control disk he was captured by Valkryrie. Nothing outright says it electrocuted him and if you look at the disk on him in has effects showing as if it's effecting his bloodstream some way because of purple veins it shows. Could have been many different things that were not electricity based.

Him continuing too make suits was his arc . He couldn’t stop bc he knew there was a bigger threat , it’s like the whole Spider-Man slogan with great power comes great responsibility. It’s why when he was dying Pepper told him it’s okay you can rest now. Not a plot hole

He got that wrong. Doc Ock was grabbed before that and returned with a different outcome.

Most of the entries on this list can be explained if the people at watch mojo actually put a little thought into their work... -Tony gives his address to the mandarin because he has a huge ego so of course he’s going to invite a challenge -Tony intended the glasses to be used by Peter, he probably programmed something where the glasses always listen to Peter (even when he transfers access to someone else) because the glasses were always meant for him -Thor gets stunned by electricity shocks because he hasn’t gotten the full grasp of his thunder powers yet, we see this earlier when he’s first presented to the grand master and all he can do is make “sparkles” -Tony is a workaholic and is addicted to being a superhero and saving people/ the world, he can’t stop being iron man no matter how much he wants to retire. Thats literally his whole character arc in Endgame... -In no way home they all just assume that they’ll go back to moments before they die. But it’s just an assumption, how could any of them possibly know exactly how the multiverse works at this point. Like maybe because they stayed in the MCU universe for a few days it changes the timeline of when they’ll go back -the sovereign use the guardians because yes they think they’re too good to be fighting a space alien and don’t want to risk their own people, but they also don’t want to waste resources (mainly remote controlled ships) when they can just hire the guardians -Thanos gives (more like borrow) the Infinity stone to Loki because why not let one his minions take out Earth for him. Besides, he’s thanos, he can take the stone back from Loki whenever he wants

0:45 Let's stop right here. Do people not know where Tony Starks lives already in the MCU? I mean, he's a public figure.

Pretty sure octavius was returned before that moment, as with the others (not to mention Flint and Connors didn't die in their respective movies, the former just turned to sand and left while the latter lost his lizardness). As for the scepter, it's possible he didn't know the mind stone was in it(afaik it's creator is unknown).
