Even though this show is fun, and not supposed to be taken TOO seriously, the "Fred" episode always irritated me somewhat. Fred's videos are more divisive in real life, yet Freddie is treated as a social pariah, and is even beaten up by Sam off camera, simply for not finding Fred funny.

I live in Greece and I have watched iCarly repeatedly and the episode with Fred has never aired in my country. I was in complete shock when it came up in the countdown. Also in the normal run the episode with the parallel universe has aired once or twice only.

with Freddie's first kiss, I kind of agree with him. It is like when actors have their first kiss on stage/set/etc. and they don't say it counted because it is in front of a large crowd and in front of cameras. Plenty say that it is "their first on-stage kiss" but not a real kiss.

In regards to Spencer's income, it's stated in the last episode that his and Carly's dad sends them money. He's in the Air Force and may not make a lot of money, but he must be their main support system

Well yes, their dad should be their support system, but mind you that during the show, Spencer is a 26-30 year old man who is the legal guardian of his sister (a minor) and the one responsible for her essential needs such as a roof over her head and food. During that point in Spencer’s adulthood, he should have a job he’s employed in with a stable income (especially if he’s providing care for a child) and I think his dad would’ve been more stricter on him if this was a real scenario. He should not have been that laid back in terms of providing Spencer all the money all the time regardless of him being in the air force.

We do see Spencer trying to sell his art and in a Christmas special, in an alternate reality, he's a successful lawyer who's engaged to Freddie's mom, but mainly he's an artist but he's not very successful. Their granddad disapproves and tries to gain custody of Carly after a piece of his artwork almost harms her, but he relents when Spencer states that Carly used to have asthma and tells her to bring her inhaler with her when she leaves, realizing Spencer has good intentions. The dad also wishes Spencer went to law school, but he knows he's trying

While I agree with most of these, #4 does have an explanation; Carly and Spencer’s father sends them money for food, the apartment, etc., Spencer says so in one episode. Spencer also does occasionally sell his artwork

@@WhiteDarkness3113 No way! The plot of the episode was too mean-spirited no matter which celebrity they used. In the episode, Freddie is literally hated and harassed by everybody simply because his opinion was different from everybody else's, even being beaten and forced into going against his own opinion. teaching kids that it's okay to bully others for having different opinions or others that you shouldn't speak your mind. And it literally ends with everybody shrugging it off with no clarification on whether expressing your opinion is good or not. No internet celebrity, no matter how beloved, could have made this episode work.

In regards to Spencer's income I think their dad does pay for stuff. I can't remember exactly but I think there was an episode where Spencer told him to send more money. And on the last episode the dad said that he paid for him to go to law school, which of course he dropped out of.

The layout of Apartment 13B in “iScream on Halloween” should at least be an honorable mention. I mean, I remember it having a hallway corridor corner wrap around the apartment on the outside just like Freddie’s Apartment, yet the inside had tons of space beyond the front door, like, am I the only one who noticed that? Then again, Freddie’s apartment has the same anomaly

Jade knows tori is a good friend. She just doesn't want to publicly admit it or admitted it to her at all. But we've seen those two hangout together just them all the time.

I think since spencer and carlys dad is high up in the marine corps, we think he might pay for the apartment for them? And spencer replaced the carlys room because of insurance since it covered a watch that was worth a lot that burned in the fire

I used to think Fred was funny. I agree with Freddie in today’s standards. But back in the early 2010s, I had to disagree with him. And yes, that episode really did convince me to like Fred.

The Fred episode did air when Lucas' character was still popular, but the popularity of Fred has died down over the years. As for Spencer and his unexpected fires, something tells me that he's a Fire Bender.

Another thing that doesn't make any sense ( you also discussed this in your video "Top 10 Things You Didn't Know About iCarly") is the theme of absent parents. Not to get too dark, but where are all the parents on “iCarly”? We get that Carly and Spencer’s father is in the Air Force, but what about their mother? She’s never even mentioned on the show. Is she alive? Dead? Are she and Carly’s dad divorced? Do Carly and Spencer even have the same mother? Your guess is as good as ours. And yet, they aren’t the only ones with absentee parents. Sam’s father left when she was young and her mother, Pam, is seen only once. Similarly, Freddie and Gibby were also raised by single parents. The sheer number of absentee parents on “iCarly” makes it clear that this was a theme Dan Schneider wanted fans to pick up on. There's also a dark a dark rumor on the internet that suggests Mrs. Benson did something horrible to Freddie's father.

Okay I agree with all but Spencer's income. 1) Their Dad pays their rent and main bills, so they don't have to worry too much about major expenses. 2) Spencer has several major commissions mentioned within the show, and art can be a very lucrative career for some. 3) Carly's room was paid for by insurance money for an expensive heirloom watch. (So I am confused as to why that was mentioned as a confusing point when the clip was even played in this video).

The fire extinguisher thing was actually the prop dept switched it lol, those were Jerry and Miranda's real reactions cause they didn't know it was gonna spray out fire because they were supposed to be doing a rehearsal scene not the final filming but they kept it in the show cause their reactions were so funny

So no one remembers the inconsistency with Carly’s dad’s military branch? Or is it my own Mandela effect? I recall there was an episode where Carly said her dad was in the navy in a submarine, but then throughout the rest of the show they say he’s in the Air Force.

The money comes from the Dad. It mentions in an episode that the Dad sends in money. He is their Dad he’s not just gonna drop off the face of the planet because he is in the airforce:) But you have some good points:)

Even if the shows are connected, multiple characters can be played by the same person and be normal. Same way one character can be played by multiple actors.

@@CJLX805 you may not have liked my answer but icarly does use a lot of adult jokes. The word "hobknocker" was used in icarly which also is dirty. Search on google what hobknocker means.

One big one that I don't think anyone has mentioned: in the pilot, Freddie names the series, yet in 2 other episodes particularly in I Quit iCarly, Sam tells Carly that" you already named the show after yourself," which results in a "ooh" sound effect.
