Paolo fromTOKYO How do you stay there without having to go back. Do you renew your passport stay. I know i could be in Japan for 90 days. But what if i want to stay longer and work there?
I agree. I prefer Paolo's videos to the dozens of others I've been watching in preparation for my trip to Japan cause he's so thorough and thoughtful of his audience!
Yup. I've been wanting to go for like 20yrs but whenever I had money, spent it on stuff I didnt need (besides car/phone). >_< Planning to go next year!
Binge watching youre vids 😁 in my opinion you are the best japan touring video maker. Im going to japan in march for my first time, so your vids are gonna be very veeeery usefull 🤣 grtz from belgium 👋👋👋
I'm Japanese Univ student, Even though I don't have much confidence, but I have free time so I decided to translate the sentence of 16:13 by myself. Even in Japanese, this is a weird sentence so If you feel this is senseless , please don't care about it. 「Still being like this is good? There are many people who steal the state-own land using the Special area to escape and the money will go to someone's wallet in nobody knows way. In this Election, there are only two choices that to vote in them or voting in whom have clean wallet.(Maybe the former indicates that the person who steal state-own land and get dirty money.) and result is that citizens chose the latter choice,It certified that people are totally idiot. Soon, Opposition party's question time is reduced.result is miserable. and the couple who has been imprisoned for 6 months still not discharged. there are some people who thinks if they'were to get out from there, they will say astounding things. voting in bandits, people just recognize it.」 Even reading in Japanese, I don't know what they want to say, and, May my English makes sense to you...!
SOOOO HAPPY PAOLO!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!! I would love to buy you guys dinner as a thank you for these amazing videos! Hopefully I will see you in November!
I watched your video before I went last year. I did everything you showed us and I had such a good time! My favorite restaurant in Tokyo is Gyukatsu Ichi Ni San. I tear up every time I think about that great place. Thank you for guiding me through Japan.
in order to enter u need a monthly subscription but once u purchase the subscription from that store u can only enter that 1 square enix cafe, in order to go in the other cafes u need to buy a transfer that gets approved by the original cafe that sold u the subscription then u can go into the new cafe but ur subscription gets terminated with the old cafe so then if u want to go back to the old cafe u need to buy a transfer again and then ur request needs to be accepted again and the same process again ^^
1:38 Now I'm just imagining a group of hardcore weaboos charging into battle dressed up as samurai using bodypillow covers as a sashimono. Great and entertaining video btw :)
Thanks for the recommendation! We ate at gyu katsu ichi ni san! It was soooo good and the staff very friendly. And we met some guys who also saw your video 😁👌
Dina Kim lucky! I want to go in December so I’m watching many videos like this! How is it if you don’t mind me asking. Is it easy to find these places, ordering food ? Do you need to know some Japanese? I want to be prepared when I go lol
Ciiscooo S Tokyo is a wonderful place to visit. As long as you have google maps/apple maps working on your phone, it’s pretty easy to take the trains or buses everywhere. I know a few words in Japanese but generally most places have an English menu and Japanese ppl are very understanding if your are a foreigner. I love Japan!
AHH, why didn't you make this while I was in Japan 😭 this would have helped me out like 2 days ago lol. Now I'm back in the U.S 😓 great video, however. Definitely will look back into this if I ever go back.
Same! We went around there, dunno which shop to go to. We saw bunch of cool stuff but I wish I went to these stores. I did bought a Hatsune Miku figure. I'm not that big of a weeb and she's one of the only few I recognized 😂
Thank you Paolo for single-handedly helping me in preparing for my up coming Japan trip. Literally 9/10 things on my to do list are from your recommendations.
Thank you so much for this video! My brother and I used this as a reference on where to get food when our hotel was in Akihabara last year. Gyuukatsu Ichi Ni San was so amazing!! We're going back next July & we cant wait to have it again!
I love how you also include maps!! so helpful and detailed unlike other videos.. :). Thanks in advance. Sure will follow your guides when i get to tokyo this December.
Thank you Paolo. I love your videos for pure entertainment but also for the great information you provide. I'm travelling to Tokyo in May and have flagged many places you have suggested. Thanks for all the map links. My "want to go" in Google maps is full :)
Thank you so much Paolo and Maiko for your video I’ll be in Japan in April...and now I have a huge list of things to see and places to visit!!so happy 😊
Just had that beef Katsu thanks to your videos ! Best meal of my life lol it was so great living the dream of seeing it on RU-vid and coming here and enjoying it. All your videos helped me in my Tokyo adventure . Much appreciated!
hi, im already in 東京。i planned going to 日本 for 2yrs, ive watched Paolo from Tokyo, John Daub, when i was working, i told my co-workers that i was going to 日本 on Dec 15, 2018, and sure enough, i came here to 日本 5 days ago, Dec 16! (missed by a day!) i walked from Akihabara (秋葉原) to Yokohama (横浜), i crossed the bridge to get to Yokohama. i walked all over 東京, i walked 80miles in 2 straight days! not including walking all around 東京 as soon as i first arrived here in Japan. when i first arrived in 東京、i very first place i went to was 秋葉原。im a gamer since 1977, since i was 4yrs old, when STAR WARS episode IV: A New Hope first released in theatres in America. im from San Francisco, born & raised, Bay Area Native. im a big fan of Capcom, Konami, Street Fighter, CastleVania; all video-games in general. id like to see something from my childhood in the early 80's here in Japan, @ Akihabara, a Dragon's Lair Arcade Machine Cabinet. i know, Dragon's Lair is a good 'ol Don Bluth American Original, but i thought that if there's MAGIC the Gathering here in Japan, why not a Dragon's Lair Arcade machine to bring back nostalgic 80's cool! looking forward to meeting Paolo De Guzman, John Daub, and Love Lyz Kelly! Go! Itabashi Zangief! Go! Daigo! may the best man win Capcom Cup 2019 Next Year! Congratulations, Itabashi Zangief!
I have had a really bad day and I cant tell you how much your energy and smile is already cheering me up Paolo and I’m only 0:46 secs in. You’re awesome dude
Hey Paolo do some videos about the Olympics in Tokyo, what’s being built, how is Japan preparing for it, people are dying for this, from your number one fan, many blessings for you and your girlfriend 👍
I have been watching some Paolo videos because I'm finally getting to Japan this year. I was trying to figure out why he sounded familiar. 14:32 it clicked - Paolo sounds like Fred Armisen!
You have to mention Mogra. It's an otaku club with a big variety of DJs. They have events where it's only anime music for those of you not into club and bass sounds.
Thank you for the information.. i really do like your video.. very clear information and details.. the best👍❤ May i request for a Muslim travellers to Tokyo please 🙏 thank you..
You're the first I've seen actually map out the location and that's actually incredibly helpful! Most just say the name as if you'd be able to find it easy but some seem very obscure or difficult to find when you're on a super busy street. I know I'm late to this video but seriously if you see this, I found that extremely helpful and your insight was really nice, especially with the hidden stuff.
Radio Kaikan, Animate, Gamers and Akiba Culture Zone are some of my favourite location in Akihabara. But other places that I enjoy is the nearby Tower Records store (located in Yodobashi Camera) for J Rock and K Pop albums and Kotobukiya for Studio Ghibli & Danbo. And when it comes to food - my favourite place to visit is Tonkatsu Marugo for their succulent pork tonkatsu.
i did and this happened : There is a man who uses the special ward as a cover to cover the national land. And in a way you never know, money goes into someone's pocket. In this election, we voted for those who exclusively owned state-owned land, or for those who had the most generous pockets, whether it was a two-choice choice, or for the most part, so the people were also government officials. Prioritizing the exhaustion of work, it proved how ridiculous the people are. Immediately reduce the opposition question time? The result is a miserable situation. And, even though the married couple has been in prison for six months, they can't come out of Uya. I think it's terrible that there is a bomb statement when it comes out. The people have confirmed by putting a vote on the stick.
Hello Paolo thank you so much for making this video and all the other videos about fun places in Japan. My husband and I followed your recommendations and had the best time in Tokyo during our honeymoon. Please continue you awesome work!!! :D
Thank you! You are awesome! I'll take note and know where to go if I ever have a chance to go there! Please make more video about where to go buy figures!
