I would love to see a video that's *only* about onsen. (Especially one that doesn't have a problem with tattoos.) How to locate one suitable for you, how the wristband system works, the food and drinks, the etiquette, what you might see in an onsen, price points. Everything! They look like really awesome places to visit! Thanks!
Paolo's excitement level is over 9000!!!! :D Thanks, I found a few new spots I have to visit my next time on Odaiba. My favorite spot on Odaiba is Daiba Park, really nice and relaxed area and a awesome view.
cant believe how this channel is so underrated. jst found out this channel recently coz im about to go to japan, and most of paoalo vids really helpful
Hi Paolo, I’m always checking your videos cause I like your attitude of always enjoy eating & trying out something new (not only food). Plus your smile is contagious. Watching your videos makes me happy😊 Please keep making videos whatever you think is interesting. And I’d love to bump into you & Maiko one day.
@@PaolofromTOKYO if i remeber the next building from the gundam statue have the One Piece anime restaurant. I almost fell on my knee when i saw both of them.
I spy the VS Arashi promotional poster in the background of the Fuji TV gift shop! XD this vid was very helpful when I tried navigating around Odaiba by myself last year! Thank you so much!!!
Amazing video! Thank you so much for taking the time to making it. I’m gonna share it with my friends! I can’t wait for my next trip to Japan and try out all these spots! Thanks Paolo!
Omg finally!!! Yey!!! Qq, are shops open in Odaiba during holiday? Planning to visit in July, Marine day ❤💙 Thank you for this vlog, very happy to watch all your vlogs! Looking forward to the next 😱😂
This has to be my favorite video!! Odaiba just became my absolute place to visit when I go to Japan. Odaiba had me at Oedo Onsen, Joypolis, MegaWeb, and the Odaiba Seaside Beach. Thank you sooo much for sharing this video!!!
Just got back from my first trip to Japan! Thanks for this video Paolo, so helpful! Odaiba was amazing and it was our last night's stay which was amazing. Odaiba is such a fun futuristic city and we ended up walking a lot since things were close together, and also got a 1 day Odaiba pass for the transport to get around to places like Teamlabs. I highly recommend going to that this year before they close! RIP to Oedo Onsen! I was really looking forward to it this trip, been the #1 thing I wanted to do in Japan because it's the coolest way to experience a Japanese festival feeling as well as doing a fun onsen experience and wearing a yukata. However, Odaiba has a cool Edo-inspired market/arcade and food area still inside Decks, which had retro candy, retro games, takoyaki, an old Japanese haunted house, gacha boxes, Japanese structure dioramas like mini ramen stands etc... I really liked that area and bought a lot of candy! Please note some shops only take cash, and others accept cards. I ran out of cash that day so had to skip a few shops sadly lol. Still a super cool area to check out, one of my highlights for sure! Another similar and fun retro feeling festival-like experience I saw was in Asakusa at Sensojii shrine, with festival foods and booths with balloon, tiny balls in water games for kids (still not sure how they work!) and it seems to be part of the atmosphere in general. Since you can take the waterbus from Odaiba to Asakusa it might be fun to hit this place up to if you haven't already. I've heard of Edo Wonderland as another spot in Japan you could walk around in dressed as a ninja, samurai, or other class of citizen.
Oedo Onson doesn't exist anymore? I am going to Japan in less than a month and me and my boyfriend were planning to go to Odaiba especially for the Onson :(
@@Rozenwolk ughhhh I know I was soooo sad! If it's an onsen experience you want, Odaiba (and all of Japan, really) have so many alternative Onsens available pretty much anywhere. But if you're like me and you wanna still have that sort of fun Japanese festival atmosphere, I suggest going to Sensoji shrine in Asakusa at night, which is a free boat ride across from Odaiba. Oh! Plus the DECKS Mall in Odaiba has a lot of those same fun old school carnival games, food, candy stands, masks, and even a haunted house! I also suggest trying out their arcade called Joypolis, but get there early to play all the games cause it shuts down around 7pm. Odaiba was easily a highlight of the trip we just took, despite the Oedo onsen closure. I hope you and the bf have a great time! Japan is amazing and I miss it every day! PS try melon soda! It's my fav :)
the way paolo talks?..and the expressions.. ha ha ha make me really wanna visit japan right away.. fcuk covid should be there last week of april but need to cancel it.. :(
Btw guys theres a top floor in divercity mall full of restaurant they have buffet etc. i personally loved the sushi belt and sushi train ahaha! Its near BnR
I went there a month ago for half a day (cuz I wanted to go to Odaiba Onsen). After watching this wonderful video, I wished I had put more time exploring this place ^^; Also, looks like you'll need 2 days to cover all of it XD
I am on my last few days in japan and we are here in Odaiba. There are so many exciting things to do everyday and I am loving it. It's easy to walk around as well. I am sad to leave Japan soon.
Note: Venus Fort mall doesn't exist anymore. It seems to not have survived the pandemic. (Making getting off at Aomi station a bit confusing since there is it's all boarded up with escalators going nowhere and a lack of signs)
Hey Paolo, make sure to add TeamLab Borderless to your Odaiba top 10, it always got a line out to the street, we had more fun in there than at Disneyland.
The Onsen looked awesome but sadly i couldnt go there because I have tattoos. Could u guys do a video on Onsens in Tokyo that dont mind people with tattoos?
Marcus Harrison, here is well explained about tattoo & Japanese history + some tattoo friendly onsen info in English: blog.gaijinpot.com/how-to-onsen-if-you-have-tattoos/, and if you have any Japanese speaking friends or if you can read Japanese, this site has lots of information for people with tattoos: tattoo-spot.jp/tattoo/spa/
Yeah, the tattoo thing is a bit weird. Here's a link to some tattoo friendly onsens in Tokyo. www.tokyozebra.com/blog/tattoofriendlyonsen . Thanks for watching Marcus Harrison!
@@PaolofromTOKYO , would they actually do a body search to see whether you have tattoos before they let you enter? or can I wear a swimsuit to cover the tattoos part? Please kindly advise. I really want to experience this place. Thanks
@@MrZacElle Japanese onsen is fully naked so u can't wear a swimsuit. They will not do a body search but after u enter & should they or other onsen users see the tattoo & feedback to the staff, u may be ask to leave.
Love your videos! I'm planning my Japan trip mostly based on your recommendations! Do you know if they sell Hibiki whiskey by the bottle at Hibiki restaurant??
The fake enthusiasm is very wearing. I couldn’t watch the whole video because of it. Too bad because the production is well done. I just want an honest reaction.
