Salt Rock looks like such a lovely beach town. How cool you can camp so close to that hotel. The waves in this video were crazy, no wonder you couldnt use the audio...it looked so windy. But hey it is awesome you saw a whale at the other beach! It seems there is so much to do here!

I was there . Stayed at the Caravan park. Had a wonderful time ...had the best curry I've ever had at Salt Rock Hotel !! I'll be back soon for sure ! Really good value for money and such nice staff both at C.park and hotel. Well done and thank you ! John.

Salt Rock was our favourite camping place in the early 80's, my dad loved the caravan park there, it is part of my DNA. I'm living in Brisbane nowadays, but I miss those years...our next trip to South Africa will definately include a visit to Salt Rock and Ballito...

Well, another spot to visit. We had an awesome experience anyone should try. The owner of Mozambik, Brett, has an initiative going...once a month takes a group interested people to a restaurant in Shakashead to experience local traditional cuisine. An absolute must foodie adventure. Not only for the food, but the humbling that comes with it. We are so blessed, any time you feel the need to complain when the simple things in life challenge you, think again, think of those less fortunate. 🤔

I really love watching your videos guys. Your doing such a good job. I travel a lot but this is exactly what i wanted to see inorder to plan for my future trips. Your doing such a good job with the videos. Please if you are able to do some videos in the Hermanus area along the coast all the way to capetown. i would really love to see those videos too.

Stayed in the Salt Rock Hotel in '70s with my Aunt and my cousin's, it was so beautiful. It has glamed up alot since then. I think we could eat dinner for 4 for about R4. The part I enjoyed most of your video was the sea and the whales. I would love to see more beach scenes, preferably with just the sound of the sea. We live in the UK so seeing videos like this brings back memories. You are so fortunate to have your family with you. Thanks for showing us what's going on there. Best wishes from N Ireland :)

OH MY GOSH! Monkeys so cute! Don't ever worry about the audio! It actually happens to us all the time, you can always just voice over or do captioning like you guys did in the last video. Have just started watching your chanel and absolutely love it. Living in the UK, watching your channel it brings us home. We would love to see more especially as we want to visit Ballito. We would love to see the real Durban, Ballito and Durban North. Places to avoid and places to go. Otherwise your chanel is amazing, just wish little longer and more detail.

Hi I loved salt rock hotel, the salt cafe and chaka cove rock pool across the road from salt cafe. I enjoyed snorkeling. Salt rock does . Snorkel safaris.or tours... . Tidal Taou. Snorkeling. Tours. Salt rock.

We haven't done a Scottburgh vlog, it's on the cards, we just need to find time to get to all these wonderful places haha We really like the beach at Scottburgh, but the town itself isn't very big, it is close to where they launch the boats to go shark cage diving though ;)

The caravan park was lovely!! And so close to the sea...I love camping! The salt rock hotel was just awesome!!! The history of the hotel was really cool, thanks for sharing the info with us! We have a holiday home in Salt Rock, best place ever. Thanks for introducing Yami's, as foodies we did not know it but definitely on our list to visit. All the other restaurants are certainly a must visit when in Salt Rock.
