that is because mario's moveset has stayed mostly the same ever since 64. and when 64 came out mario didn't had a crawl move.

You missed something pretty dang important with the 3d world. If you do a Zl+ZR spin then jump, you gain more height than even a backflip.

Ok most of these I knew you could do in Super Mario Maker 2 since I have seen most of them in at least one level. What I didn't know is how to do it in the level maker. I also didn't know about the skinny Mario cameo that's hilarious and interesting

skinny mario's door easter egg was in the first. how you get the night theme have you even seen the direct and the social platform. really that was and in the first game and information for that is in the dojo.

Meowser's Gauntlet 7B6-LTF-5RF My first level consisting of 3 mini challenges and Meowser Boss Fight at the end. Tried to make it more difficult after i played it couple times and though it was too easy

If anyone is interested: T8Y-6XH-15G - this is a troll/trap level (for fun) CMX-PS1-JYF - this is a speed run level W7Q-97L-KMF - this is a multi-boss battle (it’s not that difficult but it can get tricky if your not careful)

Y9V-MCS-31H Trial of Zan. It's my first map actually, and has a pretty simple concept. Travel through various doors (All of them) and collect the necessary amount of coins before proceeding to the end of the Castle. Simple enough right? It ends up being pretty easy, But I'd appreciate feedback and attempts (as it is my first go)

Another way to get more plays on your level is to consistently update it. Go into your course list - delete the course - head to course maker and add something - even if it's a single block - then re-upload it. I had a course with 2 likes and 6 plays, i updated it and it got twice as many likes and plays.

Don't Fall - KMX-819-LYG This level is reminiscent of Super Mario Bros 2: The Lost Levels' difficulty, with a few hidden secrets along the way. Mario's Castle Hassle v2 (the first one was impossible to beat) 69D-TMJ-YGG This level cranks up the difficulty and puts you in Bowser's castle with limited powerups and both Baby Bowser and Bowser himself to defeat. Have fun! :)

code: 3P5-GK8-HVG Don't look right: Lights out! This is a hard nsmbu level, where you have to use momentum to avoid looking right. Failure to do so will make you fall to your doom! Also one more thing , the lights are out and it will be harder to see the traps. Good luck and have fun. This was a test level to test dont look right mechanic

The code TF3-BFS-YKG leads to a level named My first co-op made level. When this post was made it had a clear rate of 3/46 6.52%. What you do in this particular level is you go and open up the pipe by defeating the Piranha Creeper. Then you complete the Flood Escape referenced puzzle in the pipe leading room to then find yourself fighting Boom-Boom and Pom-Pom before the lava gets to you. Then you wall jump on this platform with a tank full of Ant Troopers, dodging lava bubbles and getting across to the 2nd last boss. You must defeat the big Magic Koopa in order to get the key and progress. Then you must beat Cat Bowser. It's pretty easy since Nintendo nerfed Bowser. Then you get the key, jump on the flag pole, and there you go! That's my level! It's not only the first level I made with the co-op feature but it's the first level I ever made with Mario Maker 2. I hope you like my level. I got a few other levels you can also check out if you want. And thank you for having the patience to read the entire thing.

this list perfectly shows why watch mojo is far better than cbr or screenrant. 1. i didn't know about this 2. i did know about this 3. is one of the main selling points of the game (never mind he's talking about single player character select) 4. this was a thing in the first game 5. this is something that i knew about but still something most don't know about 6. didn't know it was for the whole stage 7. i knew about this but again i can see how most wouldn't 8. i didn't know about this 9. i didn't know this was still there 10. already knew this but i can see why some wouldn't

After playing the level: It was mostly confusing, and hard to tell where to go, and where each key coin was. The back track system was tedious, and not fun, and I was mostly stressed out wondering when the time would run out. Not too fun, maybe have more of a *hint* on where to go, not letting the player guess and wonder around.
