You will also notice that Alicent is always on the "blind" side of Viserys, such as sitting at the dinner table and when she is comforting him in bed before he dies. It represents that he is blind to her manipulations while he only sees his family as they were positioned on his "good" side during the dinner and when Daemon and Rhaenyra show his his new grandchildren.

Daemon's stunt made my jaw drop so hard and fast that it popped. And Viserys's speech had me in tears. That was easily my favourite episode thus far

I loved the fact the George R.R. Martin said that Paddy Considine played a better Viserys than the actual character he wrote in the book. Such a achievement!!!

i had wondered if viserys' mask was a reference to viserys in game of thrones. a golden crown, and gold being poured over his head.

I really wonder who decided to serve the pig in front of Aemond. That person really wanted to start a war just when it seemed it was about to be averted. Was it Larys or Misarya perhaps?

People missed the fact that the Hightowers got rid of everything Targaryen where on dragonstone, Jace was learning Valeryian, JOffrey was reading about Aegon the Conqueror, Daemon went and got a fresh batch of dragon eggs for the baby

After that head slice, Daemon is my new favorite character he is a no nonsense kind of guy, I like it.

I like how the king brother has regrets about his past actions and feels bad he was not there for his brother. He is the first to notice his brother health changing at the dinner

There is one Aegon that was missed, Rheagar's first son with Oberan's sister.

Love how they building the tension, and feud between daemon, and aemond.

another thing you guys forgot to mention was how aemond was the only one who didn't eat anything during the supper. meaning, he refuses to break bread as he still holds a grudge from the blacks. specifically, his nephew. also, alicent is a mastermind manipulator as i've noticed only a few noticed this... when comforting the maid, dyanna she is seemingly sympathetic towards her. but when you compare alicent's face to how she hugs dyanna vs helaena, you can see that she shows more sympathy to her daughter and herself as she expressed to aegon that possibly, they may be embroiled from scandal because of his unfaithful and explicit actions. alicent also tells dyanna to not tell anyone else, therefore, manipulating her to be silent.

Would be awesome if they release a miniseries called Aegon The Conqueror in which each chapter is named as the region he conquested. Episode 1: "Dragonstone" (like, preparing for the landing).

Viserys pulled a Darkest Dungeon at the dinner table, and just like the game, everybody's stress levels went up.

Helaena is so sweet, and innocent ,I feel bad for her.

In addition to the citadel being in Oldtown, guess what else is in Oldtown? The Starry Sept which, at the time HOTD takes place, is the seat of the High Septon--the head of the Faith of the Seven. And as well know, who controls Oldtown? So the Hightowers have their brand plastered all over the Red Keep!

The first thing I thought when I saw Viserys in his mask was he looks like Baldwin the Leper King in The Kingdom of Heaven. Before this episode I didn't care much of Viserys like I had neutral feelings for him, but he stole the show and my heart this episode, Paddy's performance was outstanding. And Daemon was such a nice brother, finally

*Three* *Overlooked* *Scenes* When Daemon discovered Syrax laid 3 eggs. Have you ever seen Daemon so excited and smiling so big before? One of the eggs will hatch and become Morning, Rhaena's dragon. The moment Daemon discovered about the maester conspiracy. He smelled the cup filled with milk of the poppy. Understand that this is only the 3rd time Daemon has returned to King's Landing after *20* years. He returned when he seduced Rhaenyra and then when he invited himself to her wedding. The milk of the poppy is basically like morphine to keep Viserys sedated but he can no longer think straight which puts the Hightowers making decisions on the throne. Viserys had a hard time recognizing Daemon and Rhaenyra on their arrival. Daemon calls out Alicent on this. Then Rhaenyra asked Alicent who will be the one who will give judgement to Lucerys' inheritance? Alicent said that would be her and her father. Viserys showing up was important as this saves Lucerys' claim for Driftmark. Alicent no longer had authority over it. The scene with Mysaria. This is the one I didn't understand at first because I didn't know that was Alicent's servant girl, Talya, who gave the moon tea for Dyana (Aegon's rape victim). When you see someone wear a hoodie, you obviously think of Daemon or maybe Aemond. But it's Talya. I thought this would be the scene to poison Viserys but it wasn't. Viserys sorta died on his own. But this scene is important because it means Mysaria has a spy in the Red Keep. *Book Spoilers* Mysaria plays a role with Blood and Cheese and is a major ally to Rhaenyra during the war. So big, Rhaenyra let's Daemon sleep with Mysaria every night.

Vaemond was like them boys are Caucasian stop the CAP!!!! Then got his dome turnt into a stadium. That’s how it be sometimes telling the truth.

the moment the king enters the hall and his walk to throne is amazing! I loved it.... Too bad that the f ing queen keeps him drugged for power and manipulation of his will... well that happens when old men get married to younger girls, it is obviously interest, mutual of course, she gave him sex and sons, and he gave her money and a position... that is what marriage is truly about, interest and political alliances. If romantic love exist it doesn't really needs marriage.

its easy to differentiate and the book does this Aegon the Elder=Alicent's son, Aegon the Younger=Rhaenyra's son. Viserys the 1st is dead. Viserys II =Rhaenyra's 5th son. You have to be a history buff and read books to pay attention. How I differentiated the Cargyll twins is Arryk (i pronounced it like a pirate at first "Arrrr Rick) then Erryk like our pronounciation Eric. OR you can do Arryk sounding like Eric and Erryk sounding like Errrr-Rick, like a guy in an awkward situation "errrrrr, Rick? I dont think thats how it works."

King Viserys and King Baldwin IV. Both good men who did their best to keep their kingdom from falling into war. Unfortunately both failed to see that the succession of their kingdom will fall into the hands of reckless warmongers which resulted to great tragedy.

When at the dinner table at the end I was like keep your mask on, one its off putting to look at that and secondly to stop the food and wine from coming out through the hole in his cheek. It would’ve been easier to shut his mouth and have a servant pour wine through the hole in his cheek. Also I don’t blame the babies/toddlers from crying at the beginning when they were introduced to their zombie grandfather
