The newly sculpted Black Series Commander Appo and related Phase II Clone Trooper are absolutely amazing. I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but Hasbro has actually created a perfect sculpt/figure with no noticeable flaws. Everything about the new mold is stunning. For once I’m actually hoping Hasbro rereleases as many new clones (again!) as possible using this new sculpt.
Really cool list! The vintage collection isn't really my thing, but I actually did end up getting that paz vizla. He was just so freaking cool looking and I enjoy the 4" figures from Jazwares and Joytoy and he fit perfectly because of his size. The Mandalorian show is pretty cool too, I like the way they started to portray the laser fights being more tactical when it makes sense haha. I bought a few figures recently that I absolutely love. Jazwares marine 3 Pack, and Ruckus figure from fortnite. It made me fall in love with the Jazwares line as a fan of Halo and the unique designs from Fortnite which I also play a lot of lol. The joytoy space marine intercessor (new army builder). I don't plan on getting too many warhammer figures, but for $25-$30 it's such a great figure. And probably my last and only figure I'll get from MOTU, but I got that cartoon collection skeletor lol, it's so great. It came with 2 masks of power that I primed white and plan to paint. And Power Players SARGE figure, which unfortunately only had 1 wave it seems. While it's like a 5.4" figure, I think it actually scales well with the Jazwares figures as like a big soldier or a space marine without his armor. I've watched a lot of your figure reviews and they are really enjoyable, especially the jazware stuff or halo which i'm more interested in personally. Hopefully life goes well and you can come back strong! I also followed your IG, your pictures are awesome!
I wasn't able to grab a whole lot this year. But I did get a few things. I got the TVC Thrawn which is probably my favorite pickup of the year if only because I actually found it in the store not even a week or 2 after the Ahsoka show ended. My second favorite is probably the TVC Cad Bane. I love that one because I have been trying for years to get a Clone Wars Cad Bane to no avail. He's an awesome figure. And my 3rd favorite is probably the Paz Vizsla. He's just a badass figure and I have always loved Paz ever since his first appearance in Mando season 1. So sad he died this year before his figure could come out. I also got the Piett and Jerjerrod releases mostly because I love the Imperial officers. I also got some old school releases from my local toy shop for my birthday which includes the ROTS Commander Bacara and AT-TE Gunner trooper and the Episode 2 Saga line Plo Koon. So I got a few things this year but I wanted so much more, hopefully I can get some more.
Those are some great pick ups! The new Thrawn and Krennic were great and I honestly forgot Cad Bane! He may have replaced one of the TVC figs on my list now that I think about it 🤔 Glad to hear you got some cool figs tho!
I hope they actually properly release wave 7 next year for the Spartan Collection. I still haven't found any of them and I only got the Halo 3 Chief because gamestop substituted one for the Halo 5 Chief I ordered. I immediately decided to keep him and placed a second order for the H5 chief. Never saw Fred or Alice in any GS in my state, and the one that actually got the figures in stock sold literally all of them to an eBay scalper less than an hour before I got there. He had them all posted for 60-80 bucks each that night. I finally said "Screw it." and made my own Fred.
