5:16 uhhhhhh tbh shadowfreddy is over mentioned when it comes to the fnaf gachatubers(some of them) especially those who reunite the afton family cus they make c.c which those ppl call him chris for some reason actually have the ability to turn into shadow freddy and even think that shadow freddy is c.c himself aka the crying child
I am Hella disappointed that Withered Chica didn't make the list. I know that it's your opinion and I respect that, but the fact that she was in the thumbnail and that Toy Freddy, a character who I always thought was a meh character, made the list but not her. Withered Chica is definitely among the most underrated characters. I love her design as it's super creepy, she has an awesome voice, and one of her voice lines ("I was the first one. I have seen everything") hints at her having lore significance (it implies that she was the first one to become haunted). Those reasons are why her (and Withered Freddy) are my favorites from the withereds and some of my favorite characters overall. If I could, I would make it so that she was responsible for the Bite of '87 so that she would finally be recognized. The Stitchwraith is also underrated in my opinion. The fact that he's possessed by two souls is a very interesting character trait, his backstory is a nice mix of sad and interesting, his design is awesome, and overall, he's very cool. I also like the Twisted Wolf cause he sort of reminds me of a werewolf. Good GOD, Ballora is underrated. Nice voice, nice design that manages to be beautiful (I guess) and creepy, nice spider crawl, nice song, great character overall. I also kinda like Dee Dee, not gonna lie. Also, contrary to what you believe, FPC, Nightmare isn't overrated, but rather, fairly unpopular. I also like him. While some may see him as Nightmare Fredbear but clear/black, I see him as a neat character with a neat voice. Say what you want about these characters, but they are all awesome characters in my eyes, and it really sucks that characters such as Bonnie overshadow them.
Withered Chica was intended to be the number 10 spot, but I swapped her out last second for Wind-Up Music Man just because I reeeally wanted a SB character on this list. But yes her and Ballora I can agree we’re worthy contenders for the list and are underrated
Okay. That makes a bit more sense. I still think that Withered Chica should've been on there, but if you wanted to include Security Breach and you really liked the wind-up Music Man more than her, I understand. @@freddypopcollector I think it is unfair of you to make a recolor of bonbon on this list. She is an insignificant character who’s underrated spot should have been taken by Ballora, one of the most underrated and under appreciated characters in fnaf. She has so much missed potential as she could be possessed by Afton’s wife. It annoys me so much that people just debunk this theory so quickly, the immortal and the restless tv show in sister location was there for a reason, and it wasn’t without connection to the game that it was in. And, indicated by the wife’s name Clara, it is undoubtably to me that Ballora is possessed by Mrs. Afton. There is a ridiculous amount of evidence supporting this when there is so little supporting other theories which are believed in much more. Ballora’s lyrics indicate what Afton may have thought about his wife, balloras voice lines in ultimate custom night being very flirty, her overall ease in being able to pass her hall and her not being dominant in ennard or molten Freddy likely being because she feels hopeless after William had condemned her, and more importantly her children, to this horrible fate of eternal suffering. Ballora is simply a masterpiece of a character that is way too quickly assumed as being r34 bait just because of her body shape, a reality that is to me disgusting and shows us how sexist our current society is.
I feel like Ballora is a bit underrated not 'cause there is something wrong in the character itself but because the community is trying to make her underrated by not making her appear in sister location sfm music videos and fan arts also her disappearing from HW played a big role in this, I don't See a reason to love characters like funtime foxy over ballora
She’s seriously such a good character and allows for such an interesting potential of being Mrs. Afton. People debunk this theory way too quickly, the idea of her being Mrs. Afton is so interesting and completely possible as it would be odd for her to be the only character besides Michael to not possess an animatronic, in most people’s theories anyway. It just makes sense for Ballora to be Mrs Afton, and Scott either hasn’t shown this yet or just missed the incredible potential of her character.
If there's one character I find underrated, it's actually Glamrock Chica. I have a feeling when it comes to the new animatronics from Security Breach, no one ever talks about Glam Chica. Everyone always simps for Roxy, everyone likes how cool Monty is, and everyone loves Glam Freddy for his huge role in Security Breach. But no one ever thinks anything about Glam Chica. As if she was just forgettable to all. But to me, I find Glam Chica very intimidating. Probably because of the atmosphere- and how she's chasing me (Gregory) in the empty locker rooms and bathrooms in the Loading Dock area, and how it's just me/Gregory and her in there (plus all of the S.T.A.F.F. bots in some parts). She's memorable to me for that reason. Hot take: I find Glamrock Chica to be the most scariest of the four glamrock animatronics. I don't think it's her design that makes her scary, but something else. I've even had nightmares of her chasing me in the Pizza Plex loading docks. I haven't had nightmares related to FNAF in years, and yet the Loading Dock mission is something that has apparently managed to creep me out subconsciously.
I think the reason people don't like her is she doesn't have much of a "personality" say. In the game she acts more like a soulless robot, plus being bogged down to just love pizza. The only thing that makes her unique is the fact she plays guitar really
Honestly kinda agree, but i think i prefer her shattered version, legit the only section that got my nerves was the garbage disposol (with shattered glamrock chica being imo the creepiest character in the game and maybe entire fnaf from my perspective)
@@peripherals256 Yeah, I think that might be the reason why I find her intimidating/scary. She lacks personality compared to the others, making her a soulless creature in return. While most people find her forgettable for this reason, it's the opposite for me. She's a very memorable character to me, which is why I find her underrated.
If there was one thing I don't like about FNAF, it's the fact that there's at least 1 character in every game besides fnaf 1 that has a cool design and is important to that game, but outside of the game they're in they're just barely talked about at all, I wouldn't be surprised if Monty and Roxy don't return in the next fnaf game, it (technically) didn't happen with the funtimes, shadow Freddy and the phantoms are never talked about outside their games, and the toys are basically empty shells after fnaf 2, it triggers me a little bit to see al these cool and nice designs never used again or destroyed
I disagree on one part, I think that Roxy was the fan favorite, maybe even more popular then Freddy(BUT IDK) I think Monty and Glamrock Chica were the lesser liked ones, besides that I COMPLETELY AGREE! It’s sad that awesome designs and characters get left for the “more important characters”

Guy even tried to bait artists into a contract where he would been able to use all their artworks royalty free for as long as he did youtube. Shit somethin' wack. As a Chica fan since I joined the fandom, I totally agree. I never understood why she was so underrated compare to the other originals ( I'd say Freddy is a bit underrated as well despite being the main character ) ... I think she's just so creepy, even creepier than Bonnie in my opinion because of her design ( like having teeth or her eyes looking wide open along with her beak) ... I think her appearances in cameras are so creepy and to this day, her appearance at the window still haunts me because of how scary she looks there ( and the realism of the game makes it even more so )... I guess it's because she's "uglier" than Toy Chica I suppose, but I think she's way cooler like her kitchen mechanic.
I feel like the only reason I just don't like him as much as the other toys is probably because of his voice and that whole gamer aspect in UCN it kinda just made him sorta.. stupid to me and not scary
Phantom Mangle is very under appreciated, I really like how she stands out from the other Phantoms in FNAF 3 with a loud screech rather than a normal jumpscare, (where as Phantom Puppet’s was annoying) and her appearance in the camera is kinda creepy
Frostbite balloon boy, Easter Bonnie, the phantoms, nightmare mangle, the rockstars, scraptrap, clown springtrap, and scorching Chica are very underrated in my opinion.
It makes me sad that Classic Chica is underrated because of how iconic she is. I’m about to get so much hate for this, but I honestly prefer her over Classic Foxy and the toy animatronics (except Mangle.)
Honestly, I used to hate Scraptrap and I still understand why he isn't liked to this day but, he's kinda grown on me since. Aside from all the imperfections and odd design choices, I really do think he has a cool design and serves better than if Springtrap just came back with a slightly different design. Wish he had some merch to him as well, funko really did NOTHING with him

Mendo is one of the most underrated/forgotten characters , it was in fnaf world and he was seeing part and in the games it could be used as upgrader and/or fixer after shocks of animatronics and maybe other ideas
Phantom Freddy is my pick! He is my favorite Fnaf character! Finally someone recognized the glory and awesomeness that is the Phantoms, the most underrated batch of Animatronics in my opinion.

I feel like Chica is definitely not one of the MOST liked characters in the series, but she has merch, is vital in the original 1-4 lore, and has some fan art. So while she is kinda underrated, I wouldn’t say greatly so.
true fnaf fans like me love everyone of these characters and would collect every single plushie action figure and stuff, and would overrate every animatronic, even the underrated ones

Thank you for defending balloon boy, i am tired of people hating bb because of him stealing Batterys. Like, really...its just a game character. Also, i agree, its sad toy freddy, Bonnet and wind up music man are underrated.
I totally agree with this list! even if we share the same opinion,doesnt mean we have the same order of the characters! i definately feel like Captian foxy should be on this list,but just my opinion!
The Jack O's are ABSOLUTELY deserving of the list, ESPECIALLY Jack O' Chica, cause she's got one of the weirdest and most unique voices of the bunch, her laugh is awesome, her lines are awesome, and I think her design is amazing.
Hey FreddyPopCollector, about what you said regarding the phantom animatronics not receiving a Fazbear Frights story: I understand why you said that, because yes, it's true the Fnaf 3 phantom animatronics don't appear in any FF stories, however, in 'What We Found', the phantom concept and how they exist is explained in the story. For example, when Hudson was walking around Fazbear's Fright, he saw Lewis, his abusive step father, and he bashed Hudson's head on an arcade cabinet. When Hudson turned around, Lewis wasn't there, but he was bleeding, and there was blood on the cabinet. Also, Hudson saw the animatronic props and masks 'come to life', and he kept hearing voices from people from his tragic past. These were all caused by Springtrap, who even made himself appear in multiple locations in the attraction. What I'm getting at is that Michael Afton saw the phantom animatronics in Fnaf 3 because the animatronics they are based on appeared in his past, hence why he specifically saw just them in Fnaf 3. My point is that the 'phantoms' did actually appear in 'What we Found', but they were in the form of people from Hudson's past (as well as some of the animatronic heads and props appearing to be alive), but not Michael Aftons' past, which were in the form of the animatronics from the past locations. Does this make sense?
In my opinion one of the Most underrated ones is Yenndo (SL) Cuz He was in SL Custom Night and an easter egg inside the funtime Auditorium and thats it

Why isn’t The Marionette on this list? The Marionette is probably one of the most underrated characters. Since she is a main and because of her 70% of the series wouldn’t happen but she’s still buried by the fandom.

2:02 maybe because that thing has something that he could use as 2 circular saws that even tho they dont move like one, they are really sharp and remember Gregory is in a vent, he doesn't really have much room to avoid that little thing, and even tho he could kick it, it is kinda risky considering how that music man is moving around so fast and has sharp objects to cut parts of Gregory's skin, and i dont think Gregory wants some rusty metal to cut his legs because he tried to kick something that was moving and climbing in weird circles extremely fast, and kicking it might just make him be able to grab onto Gregory's shoe since, he pretty much can move his arms tight around it, and then see what he can do later to damage Gregory
I’m pretty sure William went into the scraptrap suit after he was damaged in the fnaf 3 fire. We even see a SpringBonnie head with that design in Fnaf 4. It just kinda make sense imo.
With toy freddy where as all the other toys adventured and experimented especially mangle where as toy freddy is just clasic freddy with more exaggerated features and i mean ucn he gains a new personality trait as a gamer but that was years later
I know this is off topic but I disagree with what you said about the spring color way plushies. In my opinion there bad in terms of wanted new characters but they pretty good when you view them as their own thing

honestly i feel like Jack-O-Bonnie is a bit more underrated then Jack-O-Chica, my reasons are 1. Jack-O-Chica was in UCN, Jack-O-Bonnie was not 2. Jack-O-Chica has a voice, Jack-O-Bonnie doesn't 3. (this is a minor one but still) Jack-O-Chica appears before Jack-O-Bonnie, she was in AR before him, she got an action figure before him and she got a mystery mini before him (yes he did get into AR and merch but point is, she got it first) 4. oh yeah, almost forgot, MatPat forgot who he was
Chica definitely deserves the list since she's liked the least out of the main animatronic roster. And yeah her AR skins are kinda lousy, but I think the Red Riding Hood one is definitely the best of the three.
Actually, I think the Hologram of ballora that can interact with the real world from the story 'dance with me' is a phantom animatronic, just one You can only see while wearing cardboard glasses.
i get why those last few are underrated, they don’t really make sense plot wise so to the story obsessed side of the fandom they’re just forgotten about for simplicity purposes. like for what purpose was balloon boy made? if the jack-o-animatronics are cannon characters where do they fit in? some people think afton moves suits after the fnaf 3 fire but since when were there 2 spring bonnie suits? etc.
In my opinion The most underrated animatronic in the series is magician mangle my second favorite animatronic in the series I love magician mangle so much It doesn't get enough praise It's a really cool idea and has really cool design a mangle that's a magician that has these cool stuff What's not to love I love Magician Mangle so much
One point I think you forgot to mention is that Scraptrap has 0 merch. No plush, No figure, no funko pop, no mcfarlane set, no mystery minis. Nothing but characters like Nightmare cupcake and Fruit Punch clown get merch but Scraptrap doesn't
Unrelated but I'm kinda sad that they removed the missing leg on phantom freddy it made him unique compared to the other phantoms and made him more than just a recolor of withered golden freddy and it wasn't even too extreme a different when you consider foxy lost his entire hook arm
