TOP 10 VAULT ROOMS AND HOW TO LOOT THEM! - Vault Hunters Modpack 

I think the mine room should be ranked higher because inside the walls are also filled with ores, and you can easily get THOUSANDS of ores if you find it inside a crp vault

For the mine room you can dig in the walls to reveal more ores. There are a ton, you can spend the entire time in there.

One of my favorite rooms is actually the wild west room. It's not super uncommon from my experience and has a decent amount of scattered gilded chests, athough does take a little extra effort to get the spawns in the buildings. It's just a super fun room every time I encounter it, can get really hectic with all the tnt and mobs, but it also has pretty solid payout for its rarity. (Obviously not as good as a lot of the ones in the video but I dunno I just still get super excited when I encounter it.)

The mine room should be either first or second because of just the ridiculous number of ores in the walls especially deeper in the walls and they have relatively few mobs compared to most other rooms in the list and if you have a crp vault then this will be the best room by like 10 miles

hi, i love vault hunters and i was surprised at how little content was on youtube for it. you should make more videos on the modpack like early game tips and best items and stuff like that. being a first time modder i am usualy confused so i would also love content on famous mods that are in usual modpacks like drowers and all the couple engineering and storage mods. stuff like that. anyway i was surprised this with this few subscribers you make such easy to follow, full of content and high quality videos. i'm defenetly coming back. loved your video, just subscribed hope you read this.

Would be nice to see a redo of this video, with how some rooms have changed (workshop no longer having the mekanism/IE blocks in the simon says area, x marks the spot having a hybrid version of mobs and loot, the new douwsky/upside down room etc) :D

little tip, i thought, and seeing the comments i think they did as well, that you would be ranking the rooms for amount of loot. that's why i think you should explain in the beginning that you were also talking about the efficiency if looting the rooms. i got quite upset when i saw the mine room at #9, but if you had explained that it would have been fine. I also want to say i really love your videos and im much looking forward to the next one!

Great video, well explained. Loving your play through series as well. I think a lot of people will argue that the mine should be a lot higher in the list. It has easily 10x more vault ores, probably a lot higher than that, than any other room. Just most of them are hidden in the walls so you have to “mine” out the whole room to find them. They are almost essential, especially in a CRaP vault, if you’re going to get anywhere with a lot of the modded stuff. That is unless you get the cursed blue wood mine which should be ignored or voided if you can 😜. Otherwise I do get why the other rooms you put higher, especially they more give chest loot rather than ore loot.

The aquarium room should be on this list, personally I think it could replace Benny's cage. Looting inside the fish in the aquarium ALWAYS yields ores, and can be done very quickly!

If u can afford it run a destruction tool from Building gadgets, it will void all blocks including ores, but great for digsites or easy access to treasure rooms. Also Factory rooms the bottom walls are made of blocks of steel, so a great early game way of getting tons of steel. Also keep your eyes out in the sides of factory rooms for early vault stone.

Just passed level 40 and haven’t seen a dragon room or workshop, but I’ve had mad luck in the X-Marx rooms. So many ores and gilded chests!!!! Love the End Rooms, as well

Love the breakdown of rooms! I think it would have been good to note what level the rooms become available. I know some do not appear until at least level 25.

Not sure if it existed when the video was released but one room I think is missing and would rate higher than the puzzle or village rooms, is the Upside Down/Dowskey's Room. It is as rare as the Viewer Factory room but if it is the daytime variant (Yellow glass/wool to look like a sun), the blocks of clouds (white glass/wool) and sun are filled with chests. Then going up to the top and bust through the dirt, there will be a manufacturing room that has a potion crafting puzzle. Once the puzzle is solved it will spawn a set of gilded chests.

Are you planning on continueing (don't know the spelling) the vault hunters playthrough? i really enjoy that series, although i also like these newer ones

thought you were going to say the vendor room :P But really though it always depends on the specific crystal because sometimes the water rooms are good (if you bring a pickarang) and honestly if you have veinminer and mining gadget (though I think it might be a bug) it instamines the garbage blocks and voids them (again this is probably not intended so it will likely get patched) so any room where veinmining (mine shaft and dig site namely) it is very nice (though just bringing a few paxels works too :P)

As a newbie to VH, I have been in so many of these rooms but never looted them properly.

All of those are great but I think the Wild West room should be there to

"It's really rare to get a mineshaft room" While I agree, I kid you not, I got 3 plentiful vaults in a row with a non-abandoned mineshaft room. I am very lucky it seems, though even with all of that, I have yet to find a upaline ore, the one that I actually need.

I think some ppl would disagree with the position of the mine room. Understandable. It really depends on the stage of the game you're at. If you need a lot of ores and gems, it's a godly room. if you're looking for loot or vault gear, it's obviously not as good as say the village, city or factory. But given the amount of Pogs and echo pogs you need once you start unlocking mods, it's probably a little higher on the list. Even iskall himself thought that it's one of, if not the best room 😂I personally would put it around rank 5, replacing the end room. The highlight of both rooms are ores, but you get a lot more from the mine :)

There’s a bug I found with the Simon says puzzle in the factory room, If you vein mine it and it gives you a trap that turns the chest into vault bedrock it decides to break it and open a hole into the part under where there is a row of command blocks that respawn them

I believe Iskall and the devs recently fixed it so the workshop no longer spawns steel blocks. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Should’ve watched this earlier.. I got the room with the lights game and didn’t know what to do, missed out on the gilded chests

My friend and I found the red cross room in our second vault, sadly something bugged hard when trying to mine downward: the chat started spamming comments, that the server tried replacing blocks and the server command line threw exception after exception. I hope that this was a one time bug and had nothing to do with us needing to fix the server release (we need to copy the mod/config/script folders from the client over to the server, or it wouldnt start).

Not sure if you can answer this, but why do people in this series, when crafting a chest, place the chest back in the crafting recipe just to make another identical chest that does nothing more than the first?

Puzzle is good if you are constantly recycling puzzle blocks you didn't need from another vault, but it is painfully inefficient / slow to loot and search for the blocks. I honestly think the blocks required not being guaranteed is a design flaw

My very first vault had a mineshaft, walked in with diamond armour, walked out with two stacks of ancient debris and lots of vault ores, i didnt even realise it was a super rare room

What's the requirement to be able to break the spawners like you do at 2:55? Using a diamond pick with efficiency V they never break for me.

How do u get a shard pouch I can’t craft it and I put 1 level into vault hunter and I’m level 30

How do you break spawners that fast? I had an enchanted diamond pickaxe, spend some time try to break it and I thought it's just unbreakable.

Found the X room and dug down, it didn't change into another room so after a minute or so of looking of secret invisible chest's etc. I just left

lol the modpack doesn't even work for me everything just freezes in the world sand doesn't fall and I don't get block drops can't even start playing through vanilla cause everything is broken
