Serp, format defining. Tribe, staple. Abyss Soldier, Mobius, both playable. Mother Grizzly, borderline playable. The other five are, like, yeesh, hard to say anything nice about. Cards that won't see play unless you are on water exactly (at which point I think you should be thinking aggro anyway). I think Suijin and Giga Gagagigo might have some niche in like a reasoning gate thing if water attribute ever becomes more desirable than the light monsters that outclass them. I think Granadora is at least a solid beater, and maybe some deck really is summoning enough tributes or something that they prefer him. I think Fenrir is worth talking about. And idk maybe Nightmare Penguin is better than he looks (he looks like he should be Spy or Night Assailant). Anyway, good video. Got me thinking.
Pretty good list I agree with the top 8, however I'd throw out Yami Ship, knock Penguin Soldier down to 10 and add Giga Gagagigo as 9. If you have a Legendary Ocean on the Board (which is also amazing with Daedalus) you have a no tribute 2650 in Giga Gagagigo. While I would be happy to see Fenrier and Lekunga on the list, I know that is just my bias speaking and they aren't that great.
The JDZ! I love the editing in this video and in the Top 10 Fire Monsters. The firey background in the last one and the pool in this one is immersive The scripting is also very appreciated. Great energy, great job. I accurately predicted the top 4 and I completely agree. Serpent is broken, makes Charity and Card Destruction look boss and laughs at Delinquent Duo. Sinister Serpent also makes Tribe and Abyss Soldier shine. Please do Earth Monsters next!
Honorable mentions for Bugroth and Mermaid Knight. They are the backbone of a Water aggro deck. With ALO out, Bugroth can attack directly and Mermaid Knight has a double attack effect.
If you're playing a water deck with Legendary Ocean, then Terrorking Salmon is a normal summon 2400 att monster that gets boosted to 2600. Can hit over basically anything. I would've included it easily in the top 10.
On paper it sounds good but in reality you need to remove 2 Water monsters (which is a lot) from grave and the stat line is really low even if you hit something and you fire off the effect they likely just gonna run over it with a Kycoo or something.
Omg I literally run all of these in my aggro control water strategy! I just started playing with them as of yesterday! Mobius I side it actually. Mermaid Knight and Bugroth MK3 are honorable mentions they help me win games.
You can play around with ratios like book of moon or whatever. It’s a fun deck when it gets returning 😂😂😂 I like to bump penguin soldier to 2 because it’s just penguin soldier lol
i topped a 05 regional playing 2 grizzleys ameoba 2 whale and a mobius in a otherwise standard goat control with creature swaps. would recommend mobius being trampled by tsuku ruins it for me, 3 seems fine. abyss at 4 is criminal but i guess the top plays out how it do serpent also single handed ruined hand control decks with multiple dons and drop offs
