17:48 I really like this Ogerpon set, especially that tech Taunt. Though I'm a bit worried about Power Whip. I don't really like relying on moves without 100% accuracy (even Snarl annoys me to click it lol). I have never used Ogerpon-Cornerstone as I thought it's not a very good one, but having a Sturdy mon with both Follow Me and Taunt had change my perspective on it. Plus, on a nice note, if Ho-oh becomes a thing in the future (or in a Double Restricted Format), Icy Cudgel will be clutch to get rid of it in one shot as Ho-oh is a very strong counter to Calyrex-Ice-Rider.

What set do you think brute bonnet would like running? He always interested me but his typing held me back, but now that his half dark typing is more favourable, i’d be interested trying him out again

It really depends on the rest of the team, but some combination of seed bomb/Crunch/Sucker, spore and rage power are both good to. Coverage like CC can also be solid, for the item, again very team dependant, like what you need to beat ect, but clear amulet is solid, recovery berry also not bad

Do you think Hisuian Zoroark has a place in this meta? I’ve pulled off its ability so well even though it could go drastically wrong I typically get up a free Nasty Plot when my opponent goes for a Ghost, Normal, or Fighting attack and it’s quick enough to start one shotting with Bitter Malice or Flame Thrower from there and Bitter lowers the target’s attack

Ghost normal is a pretty insane typing, plus it has a pretty positive MU into Cali shadow, I just worry that it will fold to spread moves and be outspeed by everything, do it might be better to scarf it and pair with a strong dark type

@@scooteezy I could see that, I was debating on running Focus Sash with it. I’ll have to experiment I’m still EV training my team and figuring out the pieces but you were clutch for suggesting Comfey cuz of its Triage. Gave me hella ideas for my Multi Scale, Hyper Offensive Recovery team

Wo-chien might make a reappearance too. It’s typing is good into the restricted pool in SV, and has an intimidate that doesn’t proc It allows your restricted to outlive their restricted

I'm not sure if I will see play in the single restricted, but I think come the double restricted, it will be a lot better, it's ability vs the big legends is very good
