That was one major I didn’t like about Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incoporated is the Shaggy/Velma relationship is just wrong and they made Velma so out of character. I’m fine with the Fred/Daphne couple because that’s been hinted at in the original series but for Shaggy, Velma, and Scoob should just remain as good friends.

I thought Shaggy/Velma could have workedif it were written better. Personally, it just seems like the subtly tried to make Shaggy ace or something and it just turned out weird. Like, it’s clear he isn’t interested in romance after his attempts with Velma but maybe they could have give some good ace representation if he said he was. Instead, they just made the whole thing weird.

Yeah...if they stayed as pretty good/decent friends. I personally never like the idea the creators try to get the couple together and force them together in the Hey Arnold Jungle Movie. Arnold deserves a lot better then Helga. And what I seen I guess the next best alternative at least in fanfictions is strangely Rhonda. Seems off, but some (including Orange Rachet) make it work pretty well.

I sincerely hope that when Helga grew up she left her parents, never turned back, got with Arnold or some other nice guy and lived a more successful life away from her now bankrupt parents since there is no way in hell big bob would venture beyond the pager business. I was honestly happy when Shaggy dumped Velma. She was pretty much acting like a poster girl for abusive relatioships for most of season 1 and I hate that none of their friends called her out on it or really backed Shaggy up when he chose to hang out with Scooby over dealing with her crap.

I DEFINITELY agree about Shaggy and Velma! Mainly because unlike Fred and Daphne, which had subtle hints in the past that they were a couple, there were NO implications in ANY previous Scooby Doo incarnation that Shaggy and Velma were a thing. I still ship Shaggy with Crystal from Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders. Because they shared real chemistry. Shaggy and Velma do not.

I don't like the fact that Velma tried to change Shaggy because she didn't like who he was and can't accept it, and she tried to break up Shaggy and Scooby friendship, that's not cool, that's like breaking up best friends in real life! At least with Crystal he seemed more happy and Crystal didn't try to change him because they were both the same and had way more in common!

I have to agree with Duncan and Gwen. Even though I am a hardcore Duncney shipper, I do agree that Gwuncan had potential as a ship. Gwuncan was just handled so poorly, so was Duncney in Season 2 and 3 for that matter. Duncney at least had a good beginning. Their beginning was handled so well that they became my first OTP, they also had the sweetest first kiss ever 😊 Duncan and Gwen's potentially sweet moments were mucked up by the fact that another person was involved. That creators never wanted Gwuncan to become canon, it only happened due to a network request.

How the hell does that even work!?! There's literally no damn way that'll fly in real life! Butters is better off with a different family that's comfortable and safe with him, because he's never even safe from his piece of 💩 parents! I'm already glad in one episode he decided to stand up against them, because there are times when Children and Teenagers takes matters in their own hands and Rebel against their deadbeat parents in many ways, and behalf of that, I'll salute to that one.

I shipped Shaggy/Velma so hard in the original series and the New Movies so I was excited to find out they'd get together in MI. Then MI actually happened and it was such a letdown. :/ They deserved so much better. Bob is the reason Miriam drinks, true story. Stephen and Linda, really? They're a horrible couple, but I think Randy and Sharon Marsh in recent seasons have got them beat.

To be honest I didn’t like Velma in the Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated show because I don’t like how she treats Shaggy pretty rudely to him. She forces him to have a relationship with her and always makes a big deal about Shaggy spending time with Scooby. I preferred Velma in the previous shows and movies that I used to love as a kid which makes it better.

Harley Quinn is honestly my favourite character in DC comics ever! she's really grown into her own away from the joker. Margot Robbie is spot on as the live-action interaction of the character, and Kaley cucuo who played penny in tbbt knocks it out of the park as her in the show with the same name currently on DC universe. as well as the one who played Bernadette on the Big Bang theory as well in batman and Harley Quinn too!

I so glad Duncan and Gwen was on the list. That was literally the worst thing ever to happen to total drama, and that includes all stars, and there break up was even worse. You can use the excuse that Duncney was toxic all you want, at least they didn’t ruin the season, and they were enjoyable to watch. Gwuncan absolutely destroyed my three favourite characters and created the worst and cringiest song in world tour as well as the worst episode.

Cartoon Network and Teletoon forced Jenn and Tom to derail and OOC Courtney and Trent to force Gwuncan together. Jenn and Tom always wanted and intended to keep Duncney and Gwent together and unsullied.

I was so happy to see Duncan and Gwen on this list. I remember being psised off about them being a couple as a child! They are too alike and Courtney did not deserve to be cheated on by Duncan. Plus how Gwen kissed him when she and Courtney were friends. This was one of the worst decisions in Total Drama history!

Yeah. Velma was a scumbag during her relationship. If I had a girlfriend and she wanted me to change just a few small things in my life that I would be okay with, that would be okay. But she wanted to change every single thing about Shaggy. I thought if the relationship went any longer; she'd make him change is hair color and most likely his real name. Not just his nickname, but his REAL name. She was a control freak. And she wanted him to get rid of Scooby. Scooby is like a family member to him. And I also predict that she would make him stop hanging with the rest of the gang, then cut contacts with his family. Anyone who would try that with their partner doesn't deserve to be a relationship.

I can't help but wish that Crystal and Amber from Scooby Doo And The Alien Invaders would've stayed with him and Scooby.Sure,circumstances-namely,the fact that they were both aliens- were what had to tear Crystal and Amber away from the duo,but during the time they had,Crystal was accepting of Shaggy,with quirks and all;as for Amber,it probably took a long while for her to warm up to Scooby.Either way,while it wasn't a long lasting relationship,it was just what Shaggy and Scooby needed more than Velma..

There’s also a huge difference between encouraging your partner to do and be better, and just wanting them to change their personality. I’ve had so many exes who didn’t like it when I would sing whenever I’m really happy, that thought I was stupid for making up my own silly little songs...my partner now loves that I do those things and even encourages me to find something to sing when I’m feeling down. It’s all about finding the right person who embraces who you are but also is always working with you to have a better life!

I think the writers of Mystery Inc. wanted to hammer into viewers' heads that this pairing of two iconic characters with very polar-opposite personalities might work on paper, but it didn't translate well into the final product and as a result has Velma coming off as a control freak of a one-sided relationship. Plus, every time Velma tried making her feelings for Shaggy clear to him, he would quietly brush them aside like they were leftover crumbs. There will only be one pairing that exists in Shaggy's life, and that is with Scooby. I actually don't know what happens at the end of the show because I had stopped watching Cartoon Network shows altogether, but if Shaggy and Velma ended up together I blame the writers for ruining such an iconic cartoon with that damn couple.

Crystal from Scooby Doo And The Alien Invaders was a more interesting love interest for Shaggy.She was,after all,possibly the best love interest Shaggy had ever met,someone who accepted and didn't mind his quirks,and with a dog who also fit as Scooby's love interest;the only flaw this pairing had was that Crystal and her dog Amber were aliens,and they sadly had to part ways,but it was lovely while it lasted..

THANK YOU!!! Duncan and Gwen are NOT IT. We all know Gwen and Trent were supposed to be together after he got over his attachment issues which, side note, DUNCAN WAS THE CAUSE OF. Duncan started Gwen's suspicions about Trent's obsessiveness and he wasn't even correct. Making Gwen look like the bad guy. Then a season later she goes on to date no other than Duncan? Making her look like the villain again being titled "Boyfriend Kisser" like what. The show should have stuck with Trent and Gwen. Period.

Because couples are supposed to be supportive of each other & respecting each other's decisions & their family. Velma was being controlling toward Shaggy's diet of what he can or can't eat, then getting jealous of his buddy-buddy relationship with Scooby. Shaggy didn't seem to want to be romantic with her (maybe not in that moment) & he comes off as more of a Jughead character (the Archie Comics, not Riverdale), the direction is kinda weird on it I have to say on the shows part. However, I think they work best as partners who solve mysteries together because them being friends seems healthier that way. They may not be as bad as the others on the list but it was an unhealthy relationship none the less, especially getting mad over something ridiculous like a dog & being broken off with mainly due to that person not being ready for a relationship. I hope what I said makes sense ^^

Scooby didn't really help due to his jealousy and he learned that lesson too late. Breaking Up was the best thing for them because as much as I love Velma, she had no right to be controlling. I used the think they would make a good couple, but after watching mystery incorporated, I realised that they didnt have good chemistry.

I’m a huge fan of Family Guy and I have no idea what they see in each other. I’ve seen all the seasons. Peter acts like a kid, no matter what his drinking or shenanigans gets him into Lois has a bad reputation such as sleeping with past men and stealing stuff, even murdering an off screen elderly character I know Stewie is a baby and IS the smart one but why would he and his siblings have these two as parents? They haven’t done anything nice for them! Including for Meg Griffin
