This is hands down the best short film/mockumentary about a “RU-vid personality” I have ever seen. It takes a certain kind of genius to make a video about ONE YEAR of a stay-at-home-gamer’s life funny, climactic, and emotionally gripping. Honestly deserves some type of award.

KWO apparently imploded from internal drama. Every time I see that bit about Phil bashing WarDogLeader, it really makes me feel that DSP really doesn't deserve the fans he has. He has squandered his money on a lot of stuff that he does not need, shat on people who had helped him (example being the guy who built Phil's first PC), yet continues to beg for money and for people to help him in his "hard times." Being able to afford a nice hotel with PandaLee, while STILL SUPPORTING HER AND HIMSELF isn't going through "hard times" Being able to go to takeouts/fast food restaurants/fancy dinners almost daily isn't going through "hard times" Hard times is when you're struggling to make ends meet and you can't get a job to support yourself. When you can barely manage to feed yourself as well as pay off your bills. He's scum. And the worst part about all of this is that he will never learn. As much as I don't like Phil, I think Sons of Kojima was an awful channel. Their commentary was trash and I just got the feeling of a bunch of low life people that have nothing else better to do with their lives than to devote HOURS of their time to rip on a guy with uncreative insults and zingers.

I think the SOK segment might have been better as a separate video. It was very detailed and powerful, but I don't think it fits in this countdown - it's like a separate 40-minute documentary about other people in the middle of a video that is otherwise all about Phil's behaviour.
I just can't wrap my head around that. How in the hell can someone really think that his little internet thingy is so important, that a person would fake a deadly illness to get away? The SOK stuff was creepy as hell, I remember hearing about all them imploding earlier in the year. As someone that was a fan of their's it pained me to hear about what was happening behind close doors. I will give credit to those who were in the group that knew about all that stuff and apologized. Unlike Fred Fuchs who acted like he was a leader of some Mafia BS internet group and being so paranoid that the only thing he cared about was power in his fake group and trashing Phil. The stuff about Alice when she passed away was disturbing, pathetic, and overall creepy as hell. I felt so bad hearing Che pour out about how he felt about her and how much he basically hates Fred. I don't blame him at all.
The saddest thing about Panda x DSP is that she clearly was fond of him. Was. Her reactions and stuff were very friendly and caring. But with this timeline, it's clear that it was waning. And I'm willing to bet things like ditching her brother's wedding AND that awful anxiety attack were two main factors in her choice to break up. So sad.
For whatever it's worth, I've heard from a youtube comment that she's married now. I hope she's doing well. As you said, she put up with so much, and however annoying she was it was kind of gross how often Phil dismissed and belittled her. Flashback to the time he was playing jackbox games and made her sit offscreen and be quiet...I get his audience didn't like her but damn that hurts thinking back, now that I'm older.
The part about the guy losing his brother really hit me hard. I too lost my brother after he committed suicide and now 2 years later, I have a much more sober look at life and find myself thinking where I would be if I could still see him. I mean we were never best friends or anything, but the fact is he's gone and nothing will ever change that and that is so evident with me and my parents. I still dwell on it, but even now he still inspires me because he was an excellent student, valedictorian and full college scholarship, but couldn't cope well with the workload he took. I just started college now and even managed to lose 40 lbs over these 2 years. But still, there's no chance of my brother ever seeing me like this ever again. It's the weirdest feeling ever, someone just being .... gone. DSP , go fuck yourself.

Honestly, I completely lost track of wtf that was all about. I get that it's connected to DSP in some way, but the majority of it seemed to just be a group collapsing in on itself, not exactly a "DSP moment" but a "DSP 'related' moment".

I hate to break to you SecretLife but Phil will have forgotten most of these events or will at least try to alter them to show himself in a more favourable light when he retells them in 2018. He will of course tell his fans to ignore the video evidence on detractor channels when he retells these events due to them "taking him out of context" because they show him in a negative light.
He'd prob tell a different story, like how he did with getting kicked out of Machinima, or getting swatted, or Leanna breaking up with him, like tevin said once, "only one story can be true"
As someone who does crappy vertical video edits that are under three minutes long, I came across this after searching what Phil was up to after all these years. I’m an admirer of your work. This deserves an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a golden globe for best editing/sound. (And dare I say best documentary)

Sons of Kojima.... I was in it before Fred became el presidente & it was so much chill there. After he took that position, the negative energy took place. I knew something was fishy with Fred but I kept it cool with him. This was around late 2014, early 2015. After Divas exposure video, I decided to just leave in peace. I legit felt bad for Divas but couldn't decide which side to take since I had fun with Divas in Skype calls along with Dudedaman but I thought all the stuff in the video was the truth about Divas. We all had the mentality of "we have proof, you're owned & we win the argument!" Heck, I even contributed to the video with some proof but let's be honest. Divas wanted out. That's literally it. SoK back then, gave him shit for it. For just leaving the group & I was part of it. I hold that L & I apologized to Divas. He did nothing wrong & got shit for his free speech. Fuck Fred & fuck SoK.
I met someone on Twitter who was also in the SoKast before the drama hit the fan. I believe he said his name was Moonman, and we rarely talk but he seems like a very chill guy. Sucks to know that such well-spoken and decent-minded individuals got caught up in that maelstrom of wannabe popularity or suckered into 'loyalty because friendship!'. Tbh? I wanted to join the SoKast around June-July, and thought many of their videos were funny, if not good background noise. When the leaks hit, it sucked, but I had to give up the idea of wanting to be a part of it.
A couple of things I like about this video 1. The voiceover. I love the fact this has a Hollywood style voiceover 2. I love the fact a top ten is 2 hours long 3. A legit amount of effort has put into this video 4. Everyone likes hating on fake David Brent
This video was great. Almost 3 hours of quality khantant with some of the best editing I've seen from a DSP detractor. My only complaint is that I feel like No. 3 should have been its own video for 2 reasons 1) It's more about the SOK then Phil himself 2) it's a complete shift tonal shift from making fun of Phil to complete seriousness about some fucked up things Fred's done ending with a message about abuse and it's a bit jarring when it goes back to "haha look at Phil's fuckups" (not saying the topic shouldn't have been taken seriously, it's just out of place compared to the rest of the video and should've been it's own video)
Just giving you a heads up, Snort Burnell has revealed that Phill is planning on taking this video down. Do everything in your power to make sure that doesn't happen. By the way, love the video. 😊

I never liked the SoK. They were much, much worse than DSP ever was or has been. I watched one of their endures and they just straight on rip on DSP for like, everything, even things that are hypocritical in the same video for some of them. That being said, I like this video ~ It's good.

First off this is one of the best DSP related videos I have seen in a long time. A lot of love was put in here. Events and sources on all of it included must of taken days to find it all. The SOK stuff alone blows my mind and was presented very well. I'm all for poking fun at DSP and all, but the SOK started to affect lives outside of DSP is were I would draw the line.
Recently minted detractor here, these videos are a must watch for anyone falling down this rabbit hole known as DSP. I have attempted to watch him directly, but suddenly it was the following day and I had a massive headache. It’s like Medusa, you can’t directly watch, you need a buffer. That shit with Che being told about Fred doxing Alice to find her obituary after she passed to see if she was faking all along was heart wrenching. I had an idea of some of the shit the SoK and Fred did as in doxing people, secretly organising the DDoS SWAT and copyright strikes against Phil which I already felt was grossly wrong to try and actively hurt Phil like that, but to find he was doing this shit to fellow Detractors and his OWN group? That's completely out of fucking line. If you wanna take things an extra step like that with Phil to a degree that's understandable after the shit Phil has done it can make you genuinely hate the guy to the point you wanna hurt him, but to go after the people in your community and your own group whom are suffering from terminal illness and end up dying? They have other methods of collecting money and pressuring him to pay w/o requiring jail. They can place a lien on his house (if he sells it, he has to pay to the government); levy his bank accounts, among other options.

My son's switch did the same thing his did a few months ago when I bought him one. It wasn't bricked, it was a problem with the old firmware or some shit. All you have to do is hold the power button for like 10 seconds, release it then hold it for another few seconds and it boots on. Then you update the system and it's fixed.
