These are the absolute worst latino hoods in USA. Based on economical outlook, crime, and incomes. The reputation and notoriety, also noted. Living conditions in these hoods are low.
5:50 I used to have alot of my Puerto Rican Family that used to live in the Bronx I remember I went inside the Project that they were living at for a birthday party one time
Good video, but part's of Fresno and some mostly Central American neighborhoods in Los Angeles are some of the roughest in the country, probably much worse then some of the places you mention here. California definately has a lot of nice and safe mostly Hispanic communities though a fair number of pretty lousy ones too, often quite close to each other. I do think that certian state's like Alabama or Mississippi would have a lot less anti-Hispanic sentiment (I'm certainly not justifying ethnic prejudice or racism however!) than they do now, if there was a much smaller undocumented population.
Before the video starts, here are mine (not including anything in Puerto Rico): 10. Los Jardines, San Antonio, TX 9. Lawndale, Chicago, IL 8. Model City, Miami, FL 7. Roosevelt, Fresno, CA 6. Lytle Creek, San Bernardino, CA 5. South Bronx, New York City, NY 4. Aldine, TX 3. Highland, Oakland, CA 2. Fairhill, Philadelphia, PA 1. Watts, Los Angeles, CA
It has very bad areas for sure. But OVERALL its 1/3 the murder rate of Cincinnati or Louisville for example. Half as much as Nashville. You gotta remember thats a huge city, 1.4 million people…
As far as NYC, you dont know too much, as a NY native let me inform, Washington heights and Flatbush are not THAT bad, sure it has its crime, but theres definitely worse areas in the city, also Flatbush is not majority hispanic latino its majority black... The worse areas is the South Bronx, Brownsville/ENY, Farrock and Southside Jamaica, out of that only south Bronx is majority hispanic Ricans and Dominicans
