As someone who found this video purely because it was in my recommended videos, I was afraid that this would be a stupid list of the top 10 "Worst" legenedaries and say why they're bad because they might look stupid or something. I'm very pleased to see that this was in fact not the case.

You should use your favorite Pokémon. The the "bests". What fun is there using a strong Pokémon of which you don't even like the design or suits your style? As an NPC once said, you should try to win with your favorites. That's what I do. I don't plan teams ahead. I find a Pokémon I like, I catch it and use it. Then, AFTER making up my team, I plan a strategy with whatever I have. It's much more enjoyable that way. I won't use Dishwasher Rotom just because it's super strong, I don't like it! Of course, this is just an exemple. Pokémon has always been about the adventure for me.

Mesprit is kinda easy to get/find in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire... Regirock: I like Regirock! He looks so cool! Regice: I like Regice! In my opinion it looks so graceful! Regigigas: I like him too! He looks so cool! It's like he's a fusion of all the others! Articuno: But it's so graceful! The tail is so cool! Moltres: But Moltres is my favorite of this bird pokemon trio! Phione: Noo! Say what you will about Regigigas in singles. But he is an absolute force in Doubles and Triples where his partners can easily remove Slow Start. Personally, I prefer to use Worry Seed to give him a nice immunity to sleep. Trust me, when he starts dealing out full power Drain Punches, recovery is not a problem.

Why did she put Leafeon on the grass mention but not Venusaur. She did Blastoise and Charizard.

Tamashii, you're kinda wrong about Regirock being hurt by the Physical / Special split. If anything, Regirock was buffed by it, since it gained the Elemental Punches when they were switched over to Physical attacks, while stuff like Earth Power and Focus Blast didn't even exist in Gen III.

I believe the title should have been 'Top 10 Worst Legendary pokemon in Competitive Battle'

I remember doing a randomizer and I chose phione, it was doing extremely good constant critical hits and strangely didn't lose much hp after an attack. Then poliwhirl came. I was stuck on him for 30 minutes because he had the ability absorb amd my only attacking move was bubble, and he only did one damage, and then I accidentally walked into that trainer again

... on Regirock, Earth Power and Focus Blast didn't exist at all in Gen 3. they were made specifically for the physical special split.

Baby Pokémon aren't completely useless (albeit, they suck). However, they are worth getting because they can learn moves unavailable otherwise.

I remember having Articuno on my team during the Elite 4 way back in Pokemon Blue. Knowing that Articuno has gone from powerhouse to glorified novelty makes me sad. :/

These were my favorite videos because its purely Tamashii's opinion with her own reasonings. It comes off as very genuine. She could have just looked up a website and threw together a video, but instead she actually came up with a list unique to her.

I think Moltres is AMAZING! Especially with solar beam, heat wave, and sky attack. It makes a perfect replacement if u went for Greninja, Talonflame, and Venusaur in the beginning. Later on u can replace Talonflame for Moltres. It has better stats, and moves, so I think Moltres should not be on this list or at least down at #10-8.

To be honest I think Groudon should be lowest because Groudon Vs Kyogre.... not going to work... even Solarbeam, doesn't even scratch Kyogre.

Wow, I face palmed so hard in the Regirock description. Focus Blast and Earth Power were not in generation 3, they were introduced in generation 4, after the physical/special split. So those moves were ALWAYS special attacks. Regirock never "lost" these moves, it never really had them in the first place.

Who the fuck would send a Ice type out into the field with Stealth Rock out and not have a spinner clear the rocks first, unless it was your last Pokemon.

I.... heavily dispute Moltres. Firstly "isn't very good in rain"? Did you do your reasearch at all? Moltres was used in OU Rain teams in Gen 5. Despite being an RU Pokemon. Smogon actually gives it an extensive OU analysis, which again for an RU Pokemon is a really big deal. It actually still OHKOs things like Ferrothorn even through rain. That's pretty impressive. The main problem I have though is your mention of Gen 6 Pokemon that supposedly do Moltres' niches better. Talonflame and Charizard. Okay, first the most obvious one: Talonflame. Same typing != same niche. Talonflame is a priority-abusing PHYSICAL attacker. That's nowhere near close to Moltres' niche. Mega Charizard Y is a better comparison, being a Fire/Flying special sweeper. However, while it is MUCH better at Fire attacks, that (ironically) isn't what Moltres was used for. Moltres' niche is STAB Hurricane. Charizard Y's strongest Flying STAB is Air Slash. Even with the huge difference in base Sp Attack, Moltres' Hurricane actually beats Zard Y's Air Slash for damage. (Tested on damage calculators) I'm pretty sure Moltres still has its niche. There's no other Pokemon that pulls off "Fire type rain abuser" as well as it does. And "fire type rain abuser" is actually a lot better than it sounds, if Smogon is to be believed.

I actually winced irl when she mentioned Regirock's base 50 special attack that its moves were stuck with after the physical/special split. That is some disrespect there.

I'm really hoping Regigias gets it's ability fixed with Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby coming out soon. I would make it so that Slow Start just lowers speed and attack by 1 level for 1 turn rather than 2 levels for 5. Or just give it a hidden ability. There's no reason for it to even be nerfed anymore now that there are Megas with 600+ Base Stat totals all over the place now.

I think the only baby Pokemon that are at least remotely cute are Budew, Happiny, and maybe Azurill, but they still feel like dex filler sometimes

Now for the regular pokemon one that made a huge wow was Pachirisu who took a draco meteor and lived.

I saw this video and immediately thought of Regigigas, who's ability definitely works against him and is not worth using, unless you can remove the Slow Start ability somehow, such as making it a Mummy.. Also, while not a Legendary Pokemon, the Archen family deserves a (dis)honorable mention due to the Defeatist ability, but still, a Mummified Archen, let alone one with a better or no ability, is better than a Defeatist one.

Regigigas is really good in doubles if you make a Pyroar with Moxic use Entrainment on it. Also it has good coverage with the 'Punch' Moves.

"Worst" might be a bit of a misleading word to use in the title, as you assert that this is mostly about power and competitiveness, and not about whether it is bad or not. Maybe "Weakest", or "Least Useful" would have been better.

they have moltres burn up, which gets rid of it's fire typing and makes hurricane useful

Phione isn't a legendary. Legendaries can't be mass produced. And every actual legend has a BST of at least 580. Regigigas should be #1 btw. Moltres can at least spam hurricane.

considering game + anime + rarity + design + original abilities and attacks, I would place Darkrai as one of the best legendary pokemons. It's rarity makes it not a very common pokemon to find in the competitive realm (heck, I got a japanese darkrai), it's ability tied with it's own sleeping attack make it a very useful pokemon to cause dmg from all possible sources and a good recovering move (Dream Eater), and at least it have only 2 weaknesses. Fighting and Fairy. And a solid defense/imunity to psychic/ghost. Another good point is that Darkrai have a pretty variable move learning potential. He can learn moves of 14 different types, with at least ONE offensive of each and a few non offensive such as haze and rain dance. Meaning he can even cover for his weaknesses by having the respective advantages such as Psychic, Aerial Ace and Poison jab, and even some uber attacks such as Hyper Beam, Ice Beam and Thunder. And his type is also the weakness to some very overrated legendaries such as Mewtwo (not counting his mega evolution), Deoxys, Lugia and Giratina. And his colorful moveset allows overpowering other overrated such as Rayquaza (Ice Beam), Mega Mewtwo X (Aerial Ace, X-Scissor, Shadow Ball...) Anime wise, he is badass, if you watch his movie "The Ascenscion of Darkrai". He literally managed to hold Dialga and Palkia in their nightmares, keeping those two behemoths asleep for solid minutes before they broke free. The two pokemons of time and space itself and Darkrai proved they also have nightmares. I'm beggining to think he is like Neil Gaiman's Sandman...

I will say that Articuno is pretty strong in Pokemon Conquest. He's a pain to get, but he's worth if.

i actually like regigigas u can use slow start at advantage with skill swap in double battle so you could have simple beam or power up punch and rock polish on it

I love how people are getting incredibly upset and butthurt over this list, saying that "YOU ONLY TALK ABOUT STATS EHAJJDHFI I THINK REGIGIGAS IS TEH BESTEST ELJEWF" when she specifically stated at the beginning of the video that this list was about how useful these legendaries are in COMPETITIVE play, not as a whole. She even says multiple times that most of these Pokemon arent bad, they just arent as good as other legendaries. Nothing wrong with using any of these Pokemon, but a lot of the stuff she says here cannot be avoided and they are legitimate issues with these Pokemon, ESPECIALLY Regigigas whom as no excuse to be as bad as it is anymore, considering how frighteningly good Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Rayquaza are going to be. Nothing wrong with using these Pokemon, you just have to make up for their weaknesses. Seriously people, suck it up and move on.
