I would have put Medusa Gorgon from Soul Eater in this as well. She literally had a kid just so she could do science experiments on it and try bringing back Satan or turn it into the equivalent of Satan. Her and Ragyo would be BBF's in all honesty.
I would also consider Charlotte Linlin aka Big Mom from One Piece definitely deserves a place on the list for the fact that she is happily willing to murder her own children if they disobey her

You forgot about Ashi's mother from Samurai Jack, at least make her on top 11. She's the sole reason why her daughters were sent to kill, not to mention they were all brutally trained since birth.
Just gotta say this. Delia isn't a bad mom. According to the guidebooks, Delia was abandoned on the day of Ash's birth and promised Ash that she would raise him properly, this was when she was 19, she is now officially 29. 10 years old is considered Adult in the Pokémon world, this is why Gary is allowed a car and can get a job as a researcher, because compulsory education ends at ten years old and you can get a job. Delia also refuses to re-marry, just incase her husband ever came back. Delia doesn't stop Ash from going in adventures because she has no right to anymore, he's technically an adult.
I would like to argue against the Delia from Pokémon pick for worst moms. 1) Literally every mom of a pokémon trainer does this, so by that knowledge, she is at worst an average mom. 2) we can't really compare how children are raised in the pokémon world to ours, since the two worlds are so seperated from each other as can be. 3) she didn't 'replace' Ash. Ash was the reason Mr. Mime was even there to begin with, and getting help around the house does not equal replacing.
miniman649 um you forgot #4. in the Pokemon world setting off on a journey is the life of Adult hood. Even for a young age that's their way of saying of being a adult. But, starting at age of 10 is the time they can leave for Adult hood.

I'm tired of people saying that Ash's mother is a bad mother. She's shown to be very loving, supportive, and even talked down a legendary just to save him. How does that make her a bad mother?
Not to mention that nearly EVERY OTHER MOM IN POKEMON LET THEIR CHILDREN TRY TO TAME WILD ANIMALS ON THEIR OWN. The only reason she let Ash's incompetence slide is the fact she is sleeping with Professor Oak.
It's because most of these people who say she's bad is because they're American. In Japan, children are given greater responsibility at a younger age than those stateside.

I don't know where you got that idea. There is confirmed story that Isaac's Mom believed his son was possesed by demon. She was so religious, she wanted to kill her own son to "save" her own son from demons. Maybe it's not strong contender but still high on the list. Cheers.

I agree, as his mother gave birth to her children to raise them for one purpose. to kill. and that meant charring their skin to make it black, forcing them to push through challenges at the risk of their own lives. and teaching them that death was failure, and you should have no remorse for the dead.
Speaking of Pokemon, another honorable mention for me is Lusamine from Pokemon Sun and Moon. 1. She was a control freak when it came to her kids, Gladion and Lillie. 2. She puts her lust for the Ultra Beasts before her kids. 3. And she cryogenically freezes Pokemon and collects them in a secret room. 4. And she's just plain psychotic.

Lusamine is the worser Poké-mom. She forced her kids to live up to extreme expectations, and loved the Pokémon equivalent of the Marvel Symbiotes more than her own kids.
How is Delia a bad mom? Ash WANTED to go on a Pokemon journey and she fully supported his dream, even making him new clothes and providing food and shelter for him and whoever he's toting along every time he comes home. She even hopped a helicopter to the Orange Islands which was the epicenter of a world wide weather disaster just to make sure Ash was alright. Also, she did NOT replace Ash with Mimey. Ash caught that Mr. Mime and GAVE it to his mom to help her out around the house.
I know this is not an all encompassing list but Gaia of Greek myth is also up there. She had her husband Uranus killed for emprisoning her children. Then had her son Cronin castrated for doing the same thing. Then when her grandson Zeus emprrioned the titans, she tried 3 times to have Zeus overthrow. Mother earth single handedly tried to overthrow 3 dynasties of god children rather talk to them and explain that all she wanted was for them to live together.
Cloud is not a clone of Sephiroth, he was just one of the people who were injected with Mako and Jenova cells after the incident in his home town. it was similar to how they made the soldier and was done to test how Jenova cells tried to return to her during the Reunion. The word clone is not appropriate for what Cloud is. the only part that is cloned is the process of how one became soldier.

When Mystique did adopt Rogue in the comics at one point she took the form of a teenager named Foxx and attempted to seduce Gambit, Rogue's boyfriend. She was sure he would take it up because Gambit and Rogue couldn't have sex because of her mutation. Gambit stayed faithful and she revealed the truth pretending it was a secret test of character and then transformed into Rogue so Gambit could have her as a reward. Gambit stayed faithful again and Rogue never found out.

The Mother of Dr. Doofenschmertz from Phineas and Ferb. She didn't come to his birth, sent him out as a kid on his own to throw his own birthday party. Sang a song to him stating a monster would come and take him away if he breathed or ever had to go to the bathroom, Let him be adopted by wild cats, made him wear dresses as a child because she wanted a daughter, the list goes on.

Delia is a awesome mother who truly trust and encourages her son to be the best he can. I'm sure she worries about him, but she doesn't want to be selfish and keep him to herself and like someone else mentioned in another comment this is actually pretty normal since TONS of 10 yr olds leave home in the world to go on their Pokemon journey. She might have even done the same thing once upon a time. She even put herself in danger for her son in the 3rd movie. Every time he comes back home she is always happy to see him and starts cooking his favorite foods. It would be different if she let him do whatever and not really care what he does and ignore him, but she does care and keeps up with his adventures. She is very proud of her son. If anything she gets the MOST SUPPORTIVE MOTHER AWARD.

Because unlike the other moms on this list, Chi-Chi hasn't tried to kill her sons, undermined them emotionally, or sexually molested them. She's just desperate to see her kids become successful and independent, not some meathead like her husband, even though she loves Goku despite that. She's just willful and pushy. Actually we would have a pretty good fight: -On one side, Homer has shown to have some superhuman capabilities, like riding a bike on the interior walls on a dome of several kilometers of diameter, or with a "D'oh" capable of destroying half of Springfield. Moreover, he has proved several times to have genuine intelligence and is capable of using a lot of random stuff as tools or weapons. -Peter, on the opposite side, has some talent in actual fighting and clearly outclasses Homer in the durability section by having survived a crash from the outer space. Who would win such a battle?
Hmm, minor note on Cersi Lannister. She was completely against her daughter being sent off on a political. Tyrion set up the marriage pretty much behind her back, partly to find out who her informants were and also because alliances through marriage are actually useful. Cersi is still a horrendous mother though, who most certainly played a huge roll in all her children's death by making herself one of the most hated and feared people in Westeros and as such making her children prime targets for anyone to hurt her.

Peggy isn't a bad mom. The whole point of that show was despite how dysfunctional they look out the outside the Bundy's stick together no matter what. They squabble and sometimes mistreat/neglect each other but it's never abusive and when they're faced with someone who wants to mess with any member of the family the whole family bands together. The Bundy's like the Simpsons were meant to show that not all loving family's look like the Cleavers. Sometimes they're a little messed up.

(Al was no better but this video is about the worst moms so I won't get into HIS transgressions). To Peggy her children meant nothing uless they were an extension of something SHE wanted. She was well fed, shopped for new clothes all the time, and got pretty much anything she wanted (that she could afford on Al's salary) while providing practically NOTHING in the way of comfort, love, caring, food, clothing and shelter to her children.Take off the rose coloured glasses and watch that show again. Peggy was a TERRIBLE HORRIBLE PATHETIC excuse for a mother. Every time I watched that show I would go and give my mother a hug and thank her for being her, and not Peggy.
