What do you think was the worst thing that happened to Godzilla?! And check out our featured song: "Wires / Enough" by Downhaul! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NDROFdjAi5g.html
I like the 98 Movie, in fact this was the first Movie named Godzilla i saw, so by the time a saw the design of the Original Godzilla i was like "What the heck this ones ugly as hell".
I know Godzilla has strength, power and durability advantage over Kong but Kong has speed, agility, intelligent and better fighting skills over Godzilla. What do you think ?
That about somes it up I mean monsterverse Godzilla does seem to be really intelligent but I would rate Kong's over his. Better fighting skills idk Godzilla millions of years old and with that long of a life span comes fighting experience, but on the other hand Kong is always constantly fighting other creatures so he's battle hardened problem is afte he defeated the big one no other creature come in that was really a match for him except for the strange bat like creature that is to appear in the Godzilla vs Kong prequel comic. Both have equal fighting skills where as Kong usually uses his environment as a weapon, Godzilla is a living weapon
The worst thing? Godzilla '98 is up there. Though the lack of proper direction with the newest American reboot is also pretty disappointing. Loads of potential and not a lot of it coming to fruition unfortunately, story-wise. Good list otherwise.
How'd I know 98 Godzilla would be no. 1? Also, you gotta think about how badly Godzilla was suffering when he was melting down. But he powered through to avenge his little lizard. R.I.P. Heisei Godzilla. And the Showa era suit actor too.
3. Before mcu or other trending like stranger things or etc took over the world but japan. The entire planet loved him, they loved him like he was their true god and only ruler.
The 98 film isn’t bad. It’s just considered bad because it’s supposed to be Godzilla. If it was a different or new Kaiju it would’ve been considered decent. All that aside Godzilla animated was really good.
Cheer up, big guy. Even the king of monsters has a bad day. Here's a little tune to cheer you up. "Oh, no, they say he's got to go Go, go, Godzilla (yeah) Oh, no, there goes Tokyo Go, go, Godzilla (yeah)"
I say its a tough call because yes the book say Godzilla won but the director say Kong won the fight but hope fully the up coming remake gives a straight answer and yes I'm rooting for Godzilla on that
I like how Japan fat shamed the 2014 Godzilla then comes out with Shin Godzilla that has thunder thighs and looks like it was caught in a meth lab explosion.
My top 5 saddest moments in Godzilla movies are... 1. When he lost Godzilla JR to Destroyah 2. When Godzilla died in the end of Godzilla vs Destroyah 3. When Rodan sacrifice himself to save Godzilla to beat MechaGodzilla 4. When Godzilla fell in that volcano on 1984 5. When Dr. Ishiro Serizawa sacrifice himself to save Godzilla
I call bullshit on losing to kong !! But like it really matters. Kong loses all the time in the end to humans ! And when they said zilla 98 was the worst thing to happen to Godzilla.....called it !!!! Lol
He literally stood in God's shadow and defied him then killed him and took his place in IDW's Godzilla in hell#3 after casually destroying the earth in a beam lock with Spacegodzilla in the same issue(then reforming the earth and saving us in the last issue). Both demons and angels bowed to him but he walked away after swallowing a handful of them because worship and god hood is beneath him before descending into the pits of Hell.
After Every Cringe Worthy Moment We Sat Through In The Roland Emmerich And Dean Devlin Disastrously Thrown Together 98 ZILLA Movie Seeing Such An Iconic Movie Monster Being Trapped And Killed On The Brooklyn Bridge Left Me So Heart Broken As A Kid😉.
12:39 You guys do know there was an awesome Animated spin off of this show right ? One that made Zilla a badass Kaiju capable of fighting alongside Godzilla.Hah I guess not you just jump on the bandwagon.
I grew up with Godzilla 98, and it’s one of my favorite movies from my childhood. It took a brave step away from the cartoonishly bad suits and strings, and it did well. I want a sequel!
Nobody’s talking about how Godzilla and Kong technically had a tie in 1962 it was considered a tie in the Japanese version it’s just that the American version made it seem like Kong won.
It doesn't matter to me how many times Godzilla gets his tail whipped or how many bad things happen to him, I know that he always comes back ready to stand up to anything or anyone no matter what. Godzilla Is My Hero!!!!!
Number 6 godzilla didn’t lose on kong or died because for toho to find a new godzilla movie back in the showa era haruo nakajim said if godzilla died it would be a difficult for the movie producers and the writers to make a new godzilla idea and his new opponent so godzilla didnt got killed in godzilla vs king kong he just surrenders to kong and he disappears
Oh come on am I going to pick the worst thing that ever happened to Godzilla it would have been him being the bad guy in giant monsters all-out attack. Plus I like the 1998 Godzilla.
@@nickmontes9599 He's not always a hero though is why it makes 0 sense does that mean you hate all the films where he's the antagonist/bad guy cause I mean they're quite a few where he is the bad guy sure some you could argue he is the lesser of two evils but still he's seen as a bad in different films... I get you not liking the villainous versions of him people will always have their preferences but to classify that as being the worst thing is a bit extreme to me.
Nature Has A Way Sometimes Of Reminding Man Just How Small He Is She Occasionally Throws Up The Terrible Offspring Of Our Pride And Carelessness To Remind Us Of Just How Puny We Really Are In The Face Of A Tornado,An Earthquake,Or A Godzilla 8:15
Number 8 isn't really that bad when you think about it. If it wasn't for Ghidorah being defeat bye Godzilla. Godzilla wouldn't get the kingly respect bye the other Titans/Kaijus 🤔
I feel bad for my man KG. He is stronger than godzilla, and he always tries to defeat him, but Godzilla always gets some help. I wanna see a movie where Godzilla gets no help and ghidorah wins. Or at least a fair fight between the two. Godzilla doesn't have to die.
The problem with 98 Zilla is there absolutely nothing that screamed the word Godzilla, nothing that you can familiarise with, Godzilla doesn’t look like a bigger version of the T. rex from Jurassic park, Godzilla doesn’t eat a bunch of fish, Godzilla scrapes the surface of the sky cos of the behemoth he is. Godzilla feeds on masses of nuclear energy, he fights other Goliath monsters, he protects humanity he has atomic Breath...that is godzilla, 98 zilla is child’s play compared to the real king
I Gotta Be Honest, Mechagodzilla is My Favorite Enemy Of Godzilla, He Just So Badass, With His Arsenal, He Is Pretty Much A Tough Opponent for Godzilla.
What else do you call a giant lizard rampaging through the city? I'd probably call it Godzilla too. I mean its just in name because the '98 movie is clearly more for laughs than anything.
I disagree with number 6. If I remember correctly, the original cut features Godzilla's roar in the end, which the american version edited out in order for it to seem as if Kong had won. If anything, it was a draw with them both leaving after falling into the ocean instead of continuing with their fight. Kong swimming away above the waves and Godzilla below them.
8:04 this is interesting because in the 1954 movie (which this film is meant to be a direct sequel of) when Godzilla is killed by the oxygen destroyer in the Japanese version his scream sounds painful, but in the American version it sounds like a regular roar.
I *respectfully disagree 100%* on #1. And no, I am NOT a 'Zilla tard' or 'Zilla fan troll,' so please don't place me with them. I'm just a casual general film buff who truly loves "Godzilla 1998 (and its titular monster) and doesn't think either of them are as 'horrible' as many others over-exaggerate them to be.
I personally think Godzilla's Revenge should be number 1 cause I mean that movie is mostly stock footage with meh practical effects and that story was wild...1998 is a good monster movie but its called Godzilla with no actual true moments of the character from whats supposed Godzilla.... that being said if you watch it as just a monster movie not a Godzilla movie theres more enjoyment to be had.
Godzilla is the most love monster of all time, like Nine tails from Naruto. Watchmojo create great videos i m a huge fan and inspires me alot. I got so inspired that i created my own channel about anime AMV, if you guys like anime check my channel.
