Ivy Wintjen yeah all we have is drugs, homeless, pimps, gang meme era, ect. Yankees beware and if u do come, know jacksonville is zombie ground zero so plz keep out
I was stranded in Waldo, with car issues. When I called my sister for help, she asked (her not knowing help was on the way and me needing to hear) Where’s Waldo? 😂 ...exactly.😂 true story.
Belle Glade/Pahokee area is ....well you have to have lived there like I did til I was 32 to understand it. I've lived in Texas now for over 20 years🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah right. Number 1: Jackson. WAIT A MINUTE! That's a city. Well then... ...everywhere. I'm so sorry Mississipi but let's be honest :-( #HelpMississippi
The trash who couldn't make it in the north. I feel for the real Floridians but my pale face hates heat and trashy religious nuts breed before you can read meth heads and drunks. Tookind of sad really
That's why they took pasco off live pd,the mayor of port richey got busted for shooting at the cops then the assistant mayor got busted, pasco county home of the meth head
no pascos 2 year contract ended with livepd, they like areas with higher crime it’s better content. yes it’s full of crackheads but that’s just florida
That would be like comparing apples, oranges and orange groves. Case in point, the population of the state capitals range from as little as 7k to as much as 1.7m. Perhaps ranking state capitals in 3 separate groupings of small, medium and large populated state capitals may work, however, would likely be time consuming.
Joe Dazey I think it’s good but property crime is a problem also poverty rate but we have almost no unemployment rate so I say Jefferson City’s good but not great
I feel like if he did that all the top ones would be like Austin and Atlanta and he would ignore a lot of the cool smaller ones like Jeff city or Charleston
My uncle moved here prior to his death. Frankly I hated the area. Nothing to much for a big city teenager really to do. Lucky that I enjoyed catching Gators and snakes as a teen but still that got boring here as well. But yes I recall the giant horseflys. Those damn things hurt bad once they bit causing welts and you had to be fast to kill them once they landed on you.
Garen Thanolope can Lawtey even be considered a town it doesn’t have a Walmart 😂😂😂 went to elementary school there, my family still lives on a dirt road there.
You left out Pahokee and Belle Glade? And Everglades City doesn’t smell. Where did you get that from? Wouldn’t want to live there 365 unless I had a mental issue or was running from the law, but it’s sure a great place for boating and fishing 6 to 8 months a year. The other months, the mosquitoes eat you alive. Used to go there all the time to get away from suburban South Florida.
Mike H ,Ft.Pierce , Pahokee , Belle Glades,Gifford, Indiantown , Moore Haven,Clewston, Okeechobee & Florida City the WORST & Poorest CITIES in the state of FLORIDA (Stay Away)🙏
1:55 There are *no mobile homes* on Duck Key. It's not zoned for it. I'll wager that 95% of the homes on Duck Key (5 islands connected by "Venetian" bridges) are either 2nd homes or are _la casa_ of a retired person(s). It is the only place in the Keys that has *_cut through_* canals. That means every canal is connected to the ocean on BOTH ends. Thus the water does not stagnate or get a build-up of dead sea grass in them like "one entrance" canals do. It's a bed-room community. All your shopping lies right next door in Marathon. Admittedly Duck Key is only for the wealthy but that's because it's a desirable place to live.
I moved in, 2000. 👍🏻. Central FL has good & bad. The sworn LE are inept, corrupt. The humid weather in 2019 is actually worse 🌡🌞🏖 then 2000. Traffic and roads are awful. People squeeze into "upscale" places then bitch about crowds, lines, traffic.
Brian I agree I have lived here all my life. Other than 2 yrs in Brooksville and weeki watchee. And there's nothing to do here either. We finally got a Wal-Mart several years ago. But this town sucks.
Let me first say I've lived all of my 68 years in FL and life here goes further down the tubes every year. I have traveled in all but three of the 50 states and I would take the smaller towns over big ones in any state. More crime goes unreported in big cities than even occurs in the worst small towns. If you look at a map of the USA's lower 48 states FL is geographically the toilet bowl of the US, all the shit from the other 47 flows right into the toilet bowl.
No ones gonna mention any cities in pasco county? Like port richey? Literally was on live PD. And they quit the show bc one of the police officers in port richey got arrested for evading the police after hitting cars while drunk driving with his duty weapon on his person and not in his cruiser. not to mention the mayor got arrested for medical malpractice, and shooting at the swat team. Not only that but the new mayor to take his place got arrested for conspiring with the now ex-mayor who was in jail. Meth is at an all time high, and the economy is absolutely terrible. Port richey is #1
Perry aint that bad but still pretty bad and only good thing about perry is alot of the people there are friendly besides the meth head and live oak people are just assholes the people are rude besides the older gen who treat you with respect.
I moved from NYC to a small town in Florida. If you do this, remember that the lifestyle is really, really - extremely different. What you have to remember is this: it all depends on what you are really looking for. My friends would come to visit expecting to find the NYC life. No, not happening.
No. Living in Gainesville I knew it wouldn't be on this list. Now if it was titled The 10 most "Bleeding Heart Liberal Towns" in Florida, Gainesville would definately be in the top 10, probably close to the top. lmao.
Those r all areas u would go?? There r worst areas then your pick, n it seem like u a lil country, u 4got avon park, zepherhills, sanford, jacksonville, juno beach, hobe sound, u need 2 drive n do some real research
I live in Lake City and is beautiful small town. But, I own property in Madison and the town is no just super clean but, people are amazingly friendly. Education start with manners and this people are extremely respectful. I don't agree with the mention of the town in this video.
I live in lake shitty and deff think it deserves to be on this list. Idk the stats but considering it took me over a year to find a job (today will be my third day) im sure unemployment is high plus all the druggies and crime. The cops are dicks and almost everywhere in lake city is in poverty or close to it. Idk i love lake shitty but its a bad bad place. ...plus i work at captain ds so its not like i got a good job i got the first g Job that would hire me. Lol. If you know someone who owns a buisness or is manager somewhere let me know. Lol help out your fellow lake citian. 😂
@@rainsleepstudios sorry to hear your case. I did not had your lucky. Lake City is a quiet place and never had any problems with anybody. Probably you may need to explore educational alternatives to open your career opportunities.
Thank you for this video Florida is a terrible place we are full don't come here alligators roaming the streets hurricanes 6 months a year humidity low pay I love it keep up the good work
Starke does have its problems but I don't think its top ten, I thought Interlachen would be on though, very surprised it wasn't😂 I live in Melrose and drive through Starke every day going to work
Florida is one of the last states I would ever choose to live in.. The heat and humidity alone make it a NO for me. Happy for all those who love and enjoy it. Thanks for the report, Briggs.
Minnesota is worse, trust me. Temp got to -27 with a -50 below wind chill. I took a pic of the outside temp reading in my car and sent it to my Ma who lives in FL, she said she's so glad she moved away from MN
I live on the Treasue Coast of Florida and have only heard of Duck Key and Indian Town. You missed Belle Glade which has the highest number of AIDS cases per capita in the state and Ft Pierce which has a very high crime rate for being a city on a coast.
@R V no false ideology and no drugs for me buddy!! Of course I'm not speaking on retired older ppl, it's a retirement community. Hell my dad is 100% against drugs and he lives there. But there are a LOT of the younger crowd who are, and you can look at their body language and actions and see they are. No reason to get butt hurt my friend. The truth is the truth period!! Law enforcement needs to clean that place up..
@@johnsmith-nl4gf I can totally believe it bro.. My dad lives there and I moved out there to be closer to him and it seemed like everyone I met in my age range and younger were on some type of drugs, smh.. Very sad honestly!!
I'm from Florida and Gators are everywhere so most people are use to seeing them and they are not that big of a worry. As for Callahan they are actually some of the nicest people you could meet and the klan was pushed out when the US got rid of segregation. My family has had several generations graduate from West Nassau high school. Also when people make these kind of videos you need to visit the town's and actually meet and get to know the people before running the town's name down Jacksonville is ten times worse for racism and has a lot more run down dirty sides growing up in that area of Florida I've spent enough time in Callahan jax and a lot of the surrounding towns and cities so you are way off on Callahan being a bad town.
I've seen Gators in down town Jacksonville Florida is swamp land and Gators are everywhere not like grass everywhere but this is their home and we built on it they show up in pool drainage ditch's and ponds. You are just over looking them as logs or just blindly overlooking them trust me they are there pay more attention and you will find them.
Teen Parent is actually the program, yes for teen mom's and it's usually on a community campus, not a stand alone school. It's also called TAPP, teen aged parent program. it offers daycare while the girls complete school. It also has mandatory parenting classes in the curriculum. It's for the entire county, not just the town. I didn't go to this school, I just know a bit about the program.
7 least we don't have snow..the problem with Florida is all the people that moved from everywhere else in the country to Florida people that are born and raised in Florida true Floridians are sick and tired of northerners and other people coming from Idaho Illinois New York exedra exedra and coming here and trying to change things complaining about the drivers well you're complaining about your own drivers because most of the people that live here from somewhere else this is coming from someone that that's a 5th generation floridian. Stop moving to Florida work full leave us alone
I am a retired army disabled veteran, talk about poor, ha, my yearly income is $22,000 dollars, and yes they deduct taxes on my pension, so how do i survive, we'll i rent a small apt, eat sandwiches and what ever i can afford, yet i don't mind that's life, still happy to serve my country.
I grew up in Melbourne - in the '60s we used to drive from there to Tampa & I remember Yeehaw Junct as only having ONE blinking light at a crossroads - nothing there at all but the blinking light - thx for mentioning Yeehaw - brought back some great memories of roadtrips with the Family in the '64 Oldsmobile ...
Dorchester, Roxbury, Chicopee, Fitchburg ( where I live) Southbridge, Athol, Orange,Greenfield, Springfield, and Lowell. Just kidding about being the best. The 10 ten worst just in Massachusetts. Best would be Maine=Bar Harbor Massachusetts=Lexington New Hampshire=Keene Vermont=Burlington
@@chrisrichardson9263 I don't know why but Brattleboro reminds me of an Old Mill Town like Fitchburg Massachusetts. 15 years ago I used to like Manchester but now it's like the opiate capital of New England
@@johncaban4310 bro youre telling me. Manchester was great 20 years ago. Now its basically a traphouse haha. Im hoping itll get better with time. My family has been here since they immigrated here after ww1. Id hate to have to leave it. Peace
I live in Florida. Many of the small towns here have State or Federal prisons nearby. Seems to support the local economy. Sometimes, entire families work there on different shifts. Cross City .. was one of them.
Looks like they are trying to clean up their act in Daytona building the Daytona One, the Outlet mall, etc. Now if the could relocate 50k undesireables.
Hi Kevin...Im also 27 and live in Jacksonville...I've seen a KKK rally fully equipped with a burning cross on the same road as the national cemetery in Callahan...I've also seen a rally closer to ocean way/yulee
First of all that's disgusting and hella rude, especially since their comment wasn't anything that should have upset you be use it's true, white people don't usually notice things that affect people of color, because it doesn't affect you in nearly the same way.
@Chanise Pelham lol "muh privilege" must guard me from all things bad. I've clearly never had to deal with any adversity in my life, and it's all because of my white skin. Drips with sarcasm
Lemon Grove? Do you mean Zolfo Springs/Wachula? Your map is pointed near Haines city/Davenport, but the pictures show stuff on Charlie Creek which is in/around Wachula. Where did this come up in research?
Dixie County, of which Cross City is the county seat, had four of five county supervises sent to prison on bribery charges. The fifth turned states evidence to avoid prison.
@@CLTRUnfiltered so, I take that if I tell the truth I am a racist, and if I lie and say Miami Gardens is a wholesome family friendly community I'm an Einstein. Pleasant dreams.
Funny to see this. I only know of this middle of the middle of nowhere town because it's the exact distance between Sarasota and Savannah. Been there twice for custody exchanges with my ex. It's true about the speed traps. The speed limit changes literally every 5 miles. A complete "gotcha" game for local keystone cops to pick pockets
I think ppl just heard someone saY Belle Gldes looked it uP n started trashing, yall literally got me blown rn, no theres no mansions there, but there corn fields, sugar cane, sweetest watermelon, mango trees everywhere .. Its just a secluded place .. Kinda peaceful to me, do ya history on BG salters, i go there to get away fron shytie Daytona Beach and Orlando
I live in Florida, pretty nice area in the country, lots of land. Little farm, make good money. But I do want to move because it gets boring. Question, your list, have you personally been to any of these locations in Florida?
