2011 Packers were the best. I always say they’re the best single season passing offense ever. Jordy broke out in 2011 for more than 1200 yards and 15 TDs in only 9 starts. The Rodgers to Nelson combo was so deadly and this was the first real showing of the duo. Jennings had almost a 1000 yard season but he only started 13 games. He also got 9 TDs. Jermicheal Finley had his best year getting over 700 yards and 8 TDs. He would have been even better had it not been for his career ending injury in 13. James Jones had another solid year with over 600 yards and 7 TDs. He always seemed to somehow find his way open. Donald Driver was definitely getting up there but the reliable veteran still managed to pull in 6 TDs for just under 500 yards. Add a rookie Randall Cobb who was dangerous in the return game, and you have an absolutely dominant offense. 3 is good but they should be 2 or 1 especially when they literally beat the #2 team in the Super Bowl the year before.

Tony Preston it’s so disappointing that they didn’t win another ring in 11. They messed up resting starters and didn’t play well for that 1st quarter and a half. And by the time they woke up, their crap pass defense couldn’t stop anyone. It’s a real shame. That loss of Nick Collins really screwed that team. He was the defensive MVP of that team. He was the keystone. Once he was gone, the middle of the field was easy pickings. Sure they had good corner depth with Sam Shields, Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson, but without Collins, there was nobody competent enough in the middle of the field. It’s a real shame. Could have been a HOFer had it not been for the injury.

This was very cool. Good job spotlighting some older squads that are often forgotten about like the 1989 Redskins. Since I'm a 49ers fan I'd probably agree regarding 1998. Two HOF receivers plus Stokes who had his best year. Overall my top 3 if we're just talking receivers (no tight ends) would be 1999 Rams, 1998 Vikings, and 2004 Colts. I'm guessing if tight ends weren't excluded here we would have gotten of one of the Air Coryell Chargers squads from the early 80's. BTW, a good trio that could have made your honorable mention might have been one of the Houston Oilers teams of the early 90's. Ernest Givens, Haywood Jeffires, and Drew Hill would up some great numbers as a trio. Anyway, keep up the good work.

No one's had a better 6 game start than Kurt Warner in 2000, before injury he was on pace for 6000 yards - he doesn't break his hand he has the best year of all time.

1994 patriots should be on here. A group that caught 405 passes. Drew bledsoe led the league in passing yards thanks to 5 guys with 52 or more catches, including Ben coats

Absolutely crazy that the '12 Falcons aren't on here - you have to consider Tony Gonzalez in all this.

That’s right, that’s when they had roddy white still doing his thing and young julio paired up with gonzalez. Julio and white both had 1,000 yard seasons and Tony was close to 1,000. Harry Douglas was a backup which he wasn’t terrible either but I’d say they should’ve made top ten easily

@@ronswanson8394 but their 3rd strings were Michael Jenkins and Harry Douglas, plus Julio's prime was after Roddy left. Now the Falcons have Julio Jones in his prime, Calvin Ridley playing at an unbelievable level, and Russell Gage being perhaps one of the best WR3s in the league, then Zaccheaus is super slept on

The #1 receiving unit of all time just won the superbowl. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette. They fielded a freaking pro bowl team with the greatest QB of all time. I don't understand how Mahomes ever had a chance...

Super Bowl 45 probably has the deepest WR core ever. AB, Emmanuel Sanders, Hines Ward, Randal El, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, James Jones. One of the most underrated Super Bowl EVER!

I wish we got to see a few years of Big Ben throwing to Brown, Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton, it looked very promising but suspensions and injuries prevented it from ever developing into an elite squad

congratulations Demaryius Thomas on an amazing career! I will never forget the night you put the offense on your back during the AFC Wild Card round playoffs caught that pass from Tim Tebow which he took about a decade to release with his extremely slow developing throwing motion, then the ball was in the air for what felt like a century but then bang you snatched right off the air at its highest point then quickly tucked it in and proceeded to stiff arm the career out of a Steeler DB, and you used your track sprinter 🏃‍♂️ speed with them long strides and TOUCHDOWN!!!! Broncos win on 1st play of OT! An amazing moment but sad as well bc the end of Tebow Time and that crazy unpredictable season... who would've thought a QB who sometimes was Bout 4 for 22 in completions would get a playoff win!! But the end of Tebow marked the beginning of Peyton the GOAT MANNING!!!
